EB speaks both languages fluently, but he has other things to do beyond just translating.

Just takes a quick second...just saying it'll clear up some things between the 2 different forums.

We don't have a gag order on our developers and some of them have an interest in browsing the forums and answering questions when time is available. These are just individual responses, not official news updates. We can't completely regulate what every team member says and ask them to cross post on the other language forums.

The English forum gets much more official PR attention than the Russian side. There is not even an equivalent of the Official Announcements forum section for the Russian side. They mainly rely on our English updates, which are translated to Russian after the fact. There are just as many complains on the Russian forums about Western interest bias as the other way around.

Given that the majority of developers are Russian speakers, the unofficial flow of information is somewhat greater on the Russian forum. But again, this is not something we intend to regulate as it would require us to keep track of and translate individual posts of individual developers. I competely sympathize with your interest in learning every bit of information available, but unfortuantely you're mostly on your own in digging up unofficial information that is not released as part of the public PR effort.

So where's the new patch? Why announce it on Xmas Eve as if its a timely Xmas present and then not deliver?

Another very strange decision IMO, almost as mind-meltingly bizarre as a P51 Mustang flying through an East European warzone in 2012.

For every post whining about the P51 module not fitting in, there are no doubt hundreds of us enjoying it :joystick: You don't have to buy it, but for now just try and take it for what it is, an amazing representation of an old favorite. You are missing out if you don't but hey ho. It may be out of place but you don't have to ride it into battle against Flankers etc and that will no doubt change given time. Heck, the Huey isn't going to fit in but that won't stop everyone buying it and a few years down the line we'll hopefully have correct scenarios to use them in. Just take them for what they are now and.... Have fun!

If I may ask then, for which version is the release planned? If it´s not 1.2.3, as I read from your statements, and 1.2.3 is delayed until sometime in January, will it be for 1.2.4 or some patch in between? Can you give some vague outline of your plans concerning this (this is not asking for a specific date, but more how the module will be integrated/if it requires significant updates from ED)?

Thx

Yes, at this point it is planned for what will be v.1.2.4, though I'm not sure how informative that is for you. :)

Thanks for clarifying.

...Every bit of info, no matter how small or obvious it is, will stop speculations about it.

wouldn't it be better to just quote Wags posting about the "mishap" in the first posting?

This can be done by the OP or a moderator.

(BTW: I PM'ed Quirk to do this)
