I would say no, as what you see in that video is actually a mod and that cockpit has not been developed by ED.

Since ED gave us a 6DOF cockpit for Su27, I'd put my bets that that's the one they will simulate.

Not least because (as was said several times) it's very difficult to obtain info on active airplanes from the Russian military, and since ED doesn't cut corners by giving us anything less than 100% accurate sims with the DCS mark, my guess is that ED can't get accurate info on the modernized variants (such as the SM versions), but the old SU-27 documentation might not be impossible to get, as the plane is basically obsolete and doesn't need the 'top secret' label any more.

Unfortunately true.

the 6 DoF Pits have nothing to do with Future modules, they were requested by the community.

Along with the updated SU-27 External Model. and ED Happily did them.

In earlier vids and interviews, Wags also confirmed the production of an Su-27SM, not S, for a future DCS module.

That being said. Bring on the Eagle, I could care less about those terrible flankers :P

If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.

Maybe with tons of luck we get both XDDD¡¡

This is very disappointing.

After almost 10 years of this sim you would expect a new plane but it's just Su-27 and F-15. Again.

I hope I'm wrong and maybe F-18C comes first...

This is exciting! So much cool stuff on the horizon!

Question: I know that su-27 and F-15 are mortal enemies, but would it ever be possible in game to fly both as part of the same team? The reason I ask is because my friend likes Russian planes, and I like US planes, but we'd love to fly the same coop mission and not versus - without getting all of the fracticides etc.

Also if there is one fix i'd like to see its having the ability in the mission editor to make your wingmen as players/clients so that you don't have to draw a waypoint for every single player/client plane you add.

/excited rant :)

Even if E.D. didn't follow their past practice of making the DCS modules (as opposed to FC3 planes) available across red and blue, as long as an aircraft is available to 2 or more countries, you can tailor the coalitions to make sure it's available to both...

Information from developers (see russian forum): both modules (F-15 and Su-27) not planned to be complex DCS models. They will be simplified FC3 models with AFM.

you cant get any more Simplified than FC3.

unless you meant "they will simply be FC3 Models with AFM"

In which I seriously doubt.

How about fixing SEAD missiles? This week would be fair. I mean...people cry their guts out in forums, and not a word in response?

I would have liked to seen the DCS F18 before the DCS F15, too much of the same thing all at once with F15 and SU27.

Personally F15 and SU33 would have been great or SU27 and F18.
