Since we already have F15C and SU-27 in FC3 fidelity, why would they plan on releasing these two as separate modules, if they wouldn't improve on them and make them DCS quality? Makes no sense to me, frankly.

 

But let's wait for Matt's explanation that he promised for this week.

not everything translates from RUS to ENG exactly as it's meant.

 

im pretty sure they mean the EDMs from the FC3 F-15 will be used in the DCS:F-15 plus AFM, and Systems structuring w/ Clickable Cockpit.

 

no point in having all the buttons and switches animated w/ connectors if you're not gonna use them.

If they are DCS:Su-27 and DCS:F-15C they will be high fidelity. And honestly I don't believe ED are so ignorant they will invest time and money in low fi modules when they already have FC3.

i doubt they slap an AFM on the SU-27C and sell it as a separate package.

 

As the A-10A is getting an AFM and Already has a 6DoF Pit.

 

There may be mis-interpretation there.... but who knows.

 

Like i said before the SU-27 Pit EDM has very little connectors placed outside of ones used for LockOnScript, and very little animations set for stuff other than Gauges, Lights, and Flight controls (Flaps switch and a few other things)

 

 

The F-15C and A-10A have Connectors and Arg Animations for all but 1 or 2 panels

We also want to release these aircraft in such a manner to allow users that are not interested in Flaming Cliffs 3, or do not have a Lock On installation, to still have these aircraft in their DCS World stable of aircraft, but at a greatly reduced price.

 

This is not to say that we will not also continue to create very high level of detail simulations. At a later point, we will further develop these aircraft to include mouse clickable cockpit and the same level of detail as the DCS: A-10C Warthog, but that is a massive effort that will take time.

 

 

 

I'd personally tag them as

 

DCS LITE:F-15C, and DCS LITE: SU-27

 

While you at it, DCS LITE: A-10A.

 

DCS LITE Series can Be individual AC w/o Study Level Fidelity.

 

 

now my question.. Do I really wanna pay $xx.xx just for an AFM if I already got FC3 w/ all the AC. or wait for a true study level DCS:FXX

Also...personally, if they want to release them, I hope its discounted for FC3 owners. Or else, all we will be getting is AFM for 2 jets. So unless its less than 10$, hopefully they re-assess their strategy and also update the other FC aircraft in the process..i.e., the mig and the sea flanker. Then we can have a full stable of Su25T level of aircraft.

Since they arent from FC3, and they arent DCS "fidelity"

As confused as some were regarding the FC3 stuff.

 

They are gonna quickly purchase DCS:F-15C/SU-27C, and get very confused when it's pretty much a FC3 Aircraft w/ AFM.

Them F-15 and Su-27 will be a hight level detailed model in the future. Need more time, patience, it's better this that nothing and little by little have great modules od f-15 and su-27

I enjoy the FC3 fidelity every once in a while, if nothing else, for the speed.

 

But this should be on ED's mind: people will be angry if they've bought FC3, and will have to buy SU27 and F15 again just for AFM. So any SU27 and F15 modules with AFM that ED intends to produce should be available to FC3 owners, either for free or for a small upgrade price.

But the "DCS:F-15C and DCS:SU-27C" are simply gonna be standalone packages of the 2 popular Aircraft from FC3, that allows Users to have those planes without having to By LoMAC or FC3 just to get the One they want.

 

Basically it looks Like they are Individualizing the FC3 Aircraft. (my assumption)
