Aravon17 Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013  - Man, do I love this sim! In just a few days of ownership, this has already moved to my most favored simulation in my PC arsenal. I love Huey's. Something about how they wrestle the air with the pulsating sound of defiance against the laws of gravity. The sounds in this simulation are so much fun to listen to. Now marry all that with rockets and the roaring Gatling Guns and it's trigger happy inducing mayhem! What a fun fun fun sim DCS Huey is! Anyway, here's my first video creation with this wonderful module to DCS World. :joystick: 6
TimeKilla Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 nice video buddy :joystick: YouTube :pilotfly: TimeKilla on Flight Sims over at YouTube.

joey45 Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Very good. The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. Aravon17 Posted May 14, 2013 Author Posted May 14, 2013 Man! You guys are the best commenting group of guys ever. I really appreciate it...really really do. I'm so used to sharing videos with next to zero replies. Although I make them because I like to look at them, it's nice to hear when someone else appreciates the free show from time to time. So again...many thanks to you all!

Zentaos Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Excellent video! Love how you kept the single camera position as if you were a spotter for a recon unit. Heh, Deserved. Would you tell me what you use to record ingame footage? I am looking for a decent program since longer! I need a new program as well. I use Fraps, but I get micro hiccups when recording no matter how long I set my loop buffer. Grrrr...
Yurgon Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Wow, very cool video and good flying, that's really awesome!
Aravon17 Posted May 14, 2013 Author Posted May 14, 2013 (edited) Heh, Deserved. Would you tell me what you use to record ingame footage? I am looking for a decent program since longer! Thanks I have begun using Bandicam with the motion jpeg setting as it captures great quality video with much smaller file sizes compared to Fraps. They offer a demo version that is limited to 10 min captures at a time. Hope that helps. :pilotfly: Edited May 14, 2013 by Aravon17

Phantom453 Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Very cool video. I especially liked the slow motion bit at the end flying through the flames & smoke.
Jaximus Decimus Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 (edited) MSI Afterburner is free, has a ton of options and you can record for as long as you want. I haven't used Bandicam, but file sizes are much smaller than FRAPS. Great video, BTW! Edited May 14, 2013 by Jaximus Decimus
FreeFall Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Nice video! One thing occurred to me: When the helicopter destroys enemy vehicles, I think there should have been a tiny delay of sound. I mean the timing between the visual and audible parts of the explosions. Because of the natural differences between the speed of light and the speed of sound you see the blast first and the sound comes a bit later. Just like with thunderstorm/lightning. Right? What do you think?
