kk0425 Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Yup. The B is the only one I'd be interested in.... ...zipping low-level through a mountainous pass, slow, take a tight left-hander, land on a hidden FOB; refuel, rearm, launch a surprise attack on a column of unprotected (by air defenses) armor. Could always just use the Ka-50. But I'm still probably going to end up purchasing this module. Add in a functional datalink and I'll be buying it so fast my head would spin.
ED Team NineLine Posted June 16, 2013 ED Team Posted June 16, 2013 I've seen documents in my travels on studies of they aerodynamics of both the F-35 and the F-22, they have some numbers on various "stuff", I am sure they arent enough to build a sim off of, but they might help somewhat... anyways... glad to hear about this one... SimFreak Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 It seems like a joke. How to simulate aircraft that's a horrible pig in the air and only saving grace is a huge amount of classified equipment....that's not mission qualified???
Napa Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Good luck with the project and all the best to make it as close to real as possible. I'll definitely buy this module. eagle13 Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 On my site you'll see that I'm a Bio-medical Engineer, and a former USMC Officer. I specialized in treating the human body like a machine and looking at things like redesigning flight helmets with a reduced moment arm giving the pilot or crew more G tolerance. I did have an opportunity to lead the implementation and integration of the F-22 and B-2 avionics. But really it’s about the team, we have a passion bringing you the best simulation possible. We know this is the only F-35 you’re going to get your hands on – we are driven to get it right! As for the B & C – when you see KickStarter you will see the reach goals, but yes we are doing all three. The C will require full carrier operations so we will be building CVN-78. The B will get the America. We are confident, as a team, that you will be flying the Beta in April. 1

Rotorhead Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 We are confident, as a team, that you will be flying the Beta in April. See? I told ya, it's a April Fools Day prank! :P C'mon, c'mon, just joking! ...but I must say, you haven't set the bar for yourself low, sir! Good luck to you, then. When it will go as intended, interesting times are ahead for us all! You really got my attention with B and C variants, if you deliver, I'm all yours!
aussieboy Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 The systems for the F-35 were hacked from an Australian ASIO contractor, so the systems have been very much compromised.
WildBillKelsoe Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 best of luck to eagle13 and his team. I know how hard it is for you guys to go out with this as a module for DCS, but I'll support how I can. I'm very keen on flying the F-35A, and we (the less skeptical) welcome you and your team to DCS World. Godspeed! To my understanding, the A has stealth capabilities. How do you plan on representing this inside DCS? Will you incorporate ECM packages? AWAITING ED NEW DAMAGE MODEL IMPLEMENTATION FOR WW2 BIRDS Fat T is above, thin T is below. Mnemonic Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Great news, I'm looking forward to support you on Kickstarter! More info about the project would be awesome!
eagle13 Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 I put this video on my web site, Kinney Interactive, along with other videos as an example of just some of the information the team has available. Thanks guys for the support
eagle13 Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 Here is the Kinney Interactive web site - I've tried to detail information on the DCS F-35 project, but questions are always welcomed http://www.kinneyinteractive.com/#!d...tning-ii/c1bom

Brisse Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 I'm not much into the F35 but if this module ever sees the light of day then I'm buying! :)
Devilman Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 sounds like a good idea.. anybody going to work on a T-50 or a TFX maybe [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Join Maddog Simulations DCS World Club & Squadrons for every module
Mnemonic Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 T-50 doesn't have any info publicly available and jet itself very far from completion. And on the other side F-35 project published plenty of info, I'm not sure it's enough for a precise replica, but for very good and solid feeling model for sure.
Silver_Dragon Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 only a question, how can "replicate" a high fidelity aircraft if F-35A has very hard "classified" level info. Mnemonic Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 By the way, Eagle13, are there any screenshots or renders already available? This section on your website doesn't work for me.
Mnemonic Posted June 16, 2013 Posted June 16, 2013 only a question, how can "replicate" a high fidelity aircraft if F-35A has very hard "classified" level info. Comparing to any other 5th gen fighter, F-35 is super public :)
