Ok, so first i didn't removed mods or did anything discussed since my last message, but after 3 days of flying the cat, in campaign or not, i'm unable to reproduce the issue. The only thing i did is to reboot my computer (Windows 11). Something had to be really messed up on my computer to impact the game like this, without other disturbance.

Hi Pribs86, What do you mean by a gain "Switch"? Are you talking about the gain option in the DATA menu? If that's the case, the gain function on the radar DATA page is there to adjust the video background intensity, i.e. the ground depiction. In GMT mode, there is no ground depiction only the doppler shifted ground contacts detected as bricks. Therefore, the gain function is inoperative in this mode, as well as in the SEA mode. However, you will notice that the menu saves one gain level preference for all radar modes, so this menu is common to all ground radar modes. So it's not INOP, it's not applicable to modes like GMT or SEA where the raw ground returns are not depicted. thank you

Just a quickie... Would it be feasible to quickly add the option to specify the runway in use at a particular airport? It's been one of my quality of life update -wishes that would significantly help in the creation of a mission and predict what the AI aircraft are going to behave like around airports? Thanks

The behavior in flight is completely distorted, and it is impossible for the helicopter's behavior to drop during a base approach. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU CAN MAKE AN UPDATE. The best place to find stuff like this is typically Aliexpress. This looks like a JST PH connector. Search for that. Do you have male connectors on both ends?

@RogueSpecterGaming No, I am thinking that the phrase "Air to Ground Radar" should mean that there is a radar in the air that is emitting radio waves to the ground, not a fancy looking F10 map plotted on MFD.

PGM1 is almost to completely not possible to achieve without at least 2 more wingmen. PGM2 is the best you can achieve solo. Short version: You fire Harm only at PGM2 or PGM1. All other PGMs will result in a miss, most likely.

Guys, don't waste your time submitting tracks. As you can see this thread has been marked "GFM in progress" two years ago. GFM is still in progress. Hope it won't be "in progress" two years from now in the future, but one never knows with ED. Until it's released, I wouldn't expect improvements to DCS FM.

When there is some actual big news, we usually share it on all our channels (Discord, this forum, Facebook, Instagram, ...). Those are just general newsletters called "dev-shoutouts" and is mostly intended for people who want to follow HB a bit closer and stay in touch with the devs - which is what Discord is generally used for. Until then everything you may read essentially boils down to "we are working on it, its there when its there".

The blocker soldiers being run over IS game breaking though, but I just tested the mission and it's not happening for me, everyone stops where they should. It seems like your install is corrupted (you reported this about another mission too) 1) remove ALL unofficial mods 2) empty your fxo and metashaders folders 3) run a slow repair

There's your answer. In VR the max I've observed is 72-74, 60-65 in non VR. With an air cooler. Clean and re-apply thermal paste and run Cinebench.

Air-to-ground radar is correct. It is a radar used in the air, and this mode is used to scan for and map ground returns.

Ok. The 14900K is a capable cpu. When you get your 9950X3D working as it should I am actually not sure you will get a very big improvement in high resolution VR as the Crystal headsets. I am not an expert though. But for now, your PC seem to be underperforming a lot, and it very well might your CPU that is not behaving as it should. Could it be something in your Bios settings? I don’t know. Before my 9950X3D a few months back I had always been an using Intel CPUs. Since the early 90’s. So when I got this new PC the bios options looked a little different. I actually used chatGPT to guide me through the Bios settings to make sure things were in order. Ram speeds etc.. I guess you had to do a new fresh Windows install when changing your motherboard and CPU. Sure chipset drivers from you motherboard manufacturer are installed correctly too? I hope you get this fixed soon. You have built yourself an awesome system! With an OG Crystal and Quadviews set up correctly your system really should be…flying in DCS.
