  3. When in AG MM, with BRM-1 selected, there will always be a flashing "INRNG" cue on the HUD. It doesn't matter the range of the SPI, relative bearing to the SPI, or pitch of the aircraft, according to the HUD you will always be in range to deploy BRM-1s. Steps to recreate: Enter AG master mode Ensure master arm is ARM Ensure BRM-1 Laser guided rockets are selected on SMS Move SPI to test In case of the trk file it was an air start, but this issue is the same if cold starting. It is also the same in singleplayer or multiplayer. In the track file I point move the SPI around, with two separate sensors, and finally turn around so that the SPI is behind my aircraft and the entire time the HUD is still indicating "INRNG" JF-17_BRM_INRNG_bug_test_V2.trk
  4. @kazak thganks for the report, sorry for the delay in replying. Have you ever tried just using the Take Off assist and not using the auto rudder, instead using your twist for rudder? I apologize if I am misunderstanding the request. I believe the autorudder needs to be loaded at mission load and is not something that can be turned on and off during the mission. Thanks!

Ryzen 9800x3d/64gb DDR5 amd expo/RTX 5090/4tb m2/ Win11 pro/Pimax crystal light The video is Super smooth for me, I got fps as high as 115fps sustained in the air and 75 on the ground whilst playing the artic thunder campaign for the F/A 18 C. Same for my test with the F16 doing the Caucus Map, free flight mission.
  6. Yeah, it's the latter. I doubt that there is a work around. Am I correct in that assumption? Although this would be a cool feature, it would only be applicable to drones and not really worth Dev time to implement. Besides, it's a NOLO aircraft and shouldn't have live player. You seem to be implying that it would work in an AI aircraft to remove the crew. Where would the draw args be placed? Should there be a copy of the livery for AI use only with the args in it's description lua?
  7. Update, spoke too soon, I was able to reproduce on a longer track and seems like it might be related to another report about high G or roll rate causing some desync. I have reported this. Thanks!

  9. The campaign has a lot going on so can be fairly demanding on performance, that said, the numbers you are reporting are abnormal. Couple of things worth checking that have helped others in the past - first disable TACVIEW if you use it as the extra load on the CPU cab be an issue with the high unit counts in the campaign. Second if you use any WINWING products disable the scripts they inject into DCS as these also have a detrimental impact on performance , that when combined with the demands of a campaign can cause big performance issues.
  10. For an AI or player controlled aircraft? If latter you have the HB code of the F4 fighting your livery setup. The livery will set the draw_args only once but the F4 code will attempt to set them constantly in order to correctly represent the ejection sequence state (which these draw_args are actually used for). So your choice of values is then overwriten.
  11. I see the same thing every time I go up. HUD/HMCS are in agreement, but they are always offset from TGP location. TGP drift is reasonable but seemingly unrelated to HUD/HMCS misalignment.
  12. It appears that AI is choosing the wrong direction for takeoffs/landings at Pferdsfeld. I am unsure if this is related to data embedded in the map since in the latest LotATC versions which feature the map, the 09 and 27 runways are flipped around as well.

  14. Hey @Hillman Glad you got it sorted and thanks for the feedback back as you’re not the first to raise this. But you are right, if in the computer release circle it should work. I have always given it a bit of welly going over that ridge so never had the issue.

  16. Hey guys, My game keeps crashing on startup - I have the spash screen for a few seconds after launcher then dxdiag crash everytime. I tried a cleanup and a full repair, same thing. Updated my drivers too and tried deleting DCS folder from Saved Game, no joy. I can't see anything in the logs but if anyone does, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. dcs.log-20250908-180127.zip

Actually, depending on your configuration, there are now 3 places to setup sharpness: Pimax Play: it works only in VR and it's applied to the entire fov DCS: it works both in VR and 2D and also applied to the entire fov mbucchia's Quadviews Foveated: it works only in VR and it is only applied to the foveated region I would like to do some tests, but my feeling is that if you enable it in PP, it's not a good practice to enable it in DCS at the same time. I have my doubts with mbucchia's QV. Any thoughts or recommendations on where should we set sharpness to achieve better quality or performance?

  19. I had tried those ARGs in my QF-4 skin and was unable to make it work. Perhaps one of the Wizards at Heatblur could make it work (probably needs something like what turns the in person pilot view on / off).
  20. Hey guys, I need tracks from the Spitfire only please, if you are seeing issues with other modules then these need to be reported in that modules sections, thanks. My attempts to reproduce so far have not been successful just using the Instant Action dogfight missions.
  21. Yea i gathered that was the intention, but they do not drop all 4 bombs even if they are of the same type. They drop the two on the wings, but does not open the bomb bay when they have two on the wings. They do that if the wings are empty. How ever, if you aim for full realism here the ai should drop all if the waypoint action says drop all. the plane is certainly capable of it in real life, as the DCS Mossie is with a human in the cockpit.   22. Haven't had a chance to test yet. I'm wondering if the drop tanks and fuel system aren't quite finished yet on the Corsair. I had the 2 150 gallon drop tanks equipped, set the fuel selector to the right drop tank and waited for the engine to quite. It appears that it pulled from both drop tanks even though I never selected the left drop tank. That's why I wonder if there is there is something not quite finished yet. If I get to it, I'll also test this on the P-51 and the P-47 for reference.
  23. In the lock mode, only the leading channel changes. Only the TP symbol will change to RL on the HUD. This does not mean that the HUD view will change. The IFF mode will still not work. For complete understanding, even the appearance of the lock mode picture will differ from the call in the RL mode even when the leading channel changes. This only indicates which channel will measure the range to the target or/and angular positions. Nothing more. I have done thousands of captures from optical modes, we evaluated the shooting results based on the ФКП photos , You will never see the C-symbol. You are trying to pass off wishful thinking as reality.
  24. I ran a dogfight mission (guns only) F/A-18 vs SU-27 AI and saved the track. I replayed it twice, and both replays evolved exactly like the original mission. I attach the track, and Tacview files of the mission plus the two replays. Everything is exactly the same. A huge difference compared to the WWII replays I've seen. In the WWII replays it seems that the AI bandit makes different decisions evry tim you run the replay. With the jets the AI repeats the samer turns every time. Maybe this is why some people say that the tracks work just fine?   26. I had no idea that the ED programmers could work magic. It also seems that no one here is aware that the standard keyboard command "RCtrl" for trimming doesn't work at all with ";". It simply doesn't work.
