I damaged one wheel on landing but I was able to make it to the parking area intact. I shut down, made sure the engines were completely stopped and then used the F8 menu to ask for repair. Got an affirmative reply from the Chief. Waited, countdown started, repair sequence ran. Chief comes back with "repairs complete." I restart the aircraft and get moving. Now the A-10 pulls heavily to the right, much more than it normally does. I know that the A-10 normally drifts when rolling on the ground becasue of the offset front gear but this is much worse than that. SO anyways, after "repair" I need to hold the rudder to about ten degrees continuously just to keep it on the taxiway or I will end up in the grass. Is this working-as-intended or is this a bug?

That certainly is a point well taken. Here's to hoping that quite a bit of things will trickle down to us in the trenches once the fancy people got their look in at the Chicago event!

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve looked into the Reverb G2, but it has roughly the same resolution as the Pico 4, so it wouldn’t really improve visual quality. Also, I think it would go over my budget.

The A-4E-C AI is part of the A-4 Community mod. It’s on them to fix it not Heatblur.

Goddammit! It was also the QV that caused the "drive-me-crazy-for months-on-end" sticky screen/swimming phenomenon. And it got much worse without Mbucchia's layer. Now I have disabled it all together.

I don't know if this F-18 specific, but when you get really close behind another aircraft (this one is AI), the heat blur from the engines just disappears.

The SA-5 TR has a significantly higher range than its SR. With the TR emitting by default*, an SA-5 battery will lock and shoot a target within ±25° of the TR azimuth angle at ~130 nm range. This is likely far outside of the TR antenna main lobe width. When this happens, the TR azimuth will suddenly snap from its initial angle by 25° to the azimuth of the approaching aircraft: SA5_TR_Omniscient.trk The TR scans neither azimuth not elevation, sitting still until it magically becomes aware where to aim to lock the aircraft. When approaching 30° off the TR azimuth, it will only lock and engage an F-16 at a range of 70 nm. Presumably, getting the targeting information from its shorter range SR: SA_TR_Normal.trk *) Apart from the TR magically picking up targets outside of its antenna main lobe, I doubt it would be continuously emitting. Firstly, it would give away its location, inviting ARM attacks. Secondly, unlike an SR, the TR electronics would likely not be designed to emit continuously for hours/days, causing unnecessary wear and thus premature hardware failure.

On top of that, DCS night lighting has some room for improvement, so in DCS you’d need NVGs in situations that likely wouldn’t require one IRL.

There are supposed to be an independent settings for units and cockpit language.

When you don’t have a (very) high end system, I’d avoid headsets with very high resolution/PPD (pixels per degree). Something with similar specs as a Reverb G2 for example should work quite well

Right now, the Hornet's radar is in a bad way for any significant air to air employment. In addition to this OP, you can no longer step through TWS priority tracks either. All-reported, but probably serious enough that it should've warranted a no-release for this MSI improvement...or a quick hot fix. They'll get to it.
