  2. If you disable the call for cabin altitude <11,500 feet that would fix the situation where the call is made if you dive below the cabin altitude and it takes longer for cabin altitude to catch up than the current jester logic.

    Ditching

Survival rates from ditching did improve dramatically during the war, above all by planning and integration with surface rescue craft. However, early war, rates were pretty diabolical.
  4. While I agree with you on the state of EA of ED modules, let me play a bit of devil's advocate here, since I think a part of the community has some blame here too. When the F-18 launched in EA, ED's plan (as per Wags - and I'm going off memory here so I'll be paraphrasing) for Early Access was to release a module with the basics functioning, at a point where everything that would be needed for a RL young pilot to start training on the type would be there, and then develop weapon systems and advanced avionics as time progresses - in the order it would be presented to a new RL pilot. But then came the community and they complained they couldn't blow stuff up... My personal priority for early access would be 'aviate-navigate-communicate': have a good flight model at EA launch that only needs minor adjustments, have all the navigation tools working (at least TACAN, ADF, manual waypoint/flightplan creation, etc), and have the radios in working order. I really don't care about weapon systems at that stage: I want to practice take-off and landings, fly the pattern, get used to the in-flight behaviour, do some in-flight refuelling (if available in that model), do some basic navigation and free flights. There are plenty of other modules available to please those who want to "blow stuff up" in the meantime (though that was less so when the F-18 first launched). Part of the community wants everything to work properly on day 1 so they can do their Rambo-style "you and what army?" scenarios immediately. And as a result you have the module released in a half-baked state with a lot of systems sort-of working, sometimes, on a good day unless there's a full moon and Mercury is in retrograde - and the community starts complaining again... That, and a lot of people expect every module to be as detailed and in-depth as the A-10, and for some reason only ED knows, that is not the case (not possible?). While ED claims to have a "standard" for EA and post-EA, when every module has a different "standard", clearly the word "standard" means something different for ED than it does for a lot of the community. So here we are... And the more modules there are in EA at any one time, the larger this problem becomes as it becomes a juggling exercise for ED... Do I like this? Nope, but I'm part of an old-school minority and I suppose from a business point of view you can't blame ED for trying to please a larger part of the community so they can keep their finances in order...
  5. I have the same problem. if you put your pod in snoplow mode, do you have the same bug as me ? (one post below)
  6. I'm not AT takeoff. I'm in the air already IN COMBAT. I'm quite aware of the takeoff power settings. Of COURSE NOT. I'm well aware of the 8.5min supply. The 3 minute warning light never comes on, so I know I have water left in the tank.
  7. They took my Have Glass livery and straight up edited it. Those are all my details. Nothing I can do. But yes, noticed.
  8. Hi, the auto pilot is not really a feature for the module. It was accidently left in. We'll see what we can do.
  9. This track breaks as when I watched it the mig's position isn't what it was when I flew it, but it includes the "WE'VE LOST CABIN PRESSURE" call which is occurring for me on every flight. WEVE LOST CABIN PRESSURE!.trk
  10. Well apparently these options are relevant in that case. Pick a DCS resolution, that you want to record in or higher. I would argue, that 1080 usually provides a good quality already. Remember that recording degrades performance (in terms of FPS) as well. You might want to consider not recording while flying VR but record the replay track instead. That comes with it‘s own caveats but also some advantages…
  11. It was a back-face culling issue. It's fine on my side. Does it still happen for you?
  12. Could you possibly supply a short track that reproduces the issue for you? That would be a great help, thanks :)
  13. In my experience you will not get a good boresight alignment on the ground, as it is not really possible, in most cases, to grab a point far enough out. Most anything you can grab while on the ground is going to be within one nautical mile. I prefer to do my boresight in the air, especially if I can find something that is already damaged or destroyed and I can easily see it's smoke plume. However if you are re-boresighting while in the air and attacking a target that SHOULD be pretty close. Just pay attention to the range you are finishing the boresight. For the most part, what you are describing is fiarly typical behavior that I would expect from the maverick.
  14. AI wingmen or player? If latter, are their own lights visible for them locally? And I guess yours arent visible for them then? Or do you mean pilot to wso, like visible to pilot but not to wso?
  15. Hi! Thanks for the modification. It's better, but you're right, it's not quite there yet. It's your decision whether you can extend this main support. If you're still willing, it's worth working on. If not, we'll be happy with what we get! Thank you!
  16. Hi, we'll look into this, but it may be EDs AI behavior model too.
  17. Yeah it’s not enough to raise the lever, you need to press the button at the end of it to release the chute.
  18. I get this erroneous call all the time when flying on Nevada. Whatever logic is going into it, strongly suggest you reconsider.
  19. Ah! This one slipped my mind. Thanks for the reminder. Yes, I will get a track for you soon. I’m still experiencing it. Lots of stick shaking going on with most easy turns. I’m still unsure if it is an effect for stall onset (plane seems fine and no shaking), or a simulated G-feeling effect. Thank you for responding P.S. It feels awesome to shoot the guns
  20. No. It just mirrors what's on the VR headset. You can find several comments on this in this forum over the years where people have compared low vs high monitor resolution (me included) and it makes no difference. The only reason I use 1080 on a 1440 monitor is so that I have a window rather than full screen.
  21. Сейчас не отвечу. могу сказать что стрелять они могут в редисе ботов. и похоже снаряды их работают очень странно, на подлете к цели исчезают.
  22. @-Rudel- LOL, who died and left you in charge.....
  23. I will have a look into it and get back to you later today.
  24. 1. Stay within limits for takeoff, not full throttle. The air is very thick at low altitudes and you’ll overstress the engine trying to push the prop thru that air with full throttle. The procedure is 54” maximum for carrier takeoffs, much less for airfields. Once you climb, and have inflow of air into the prop, there’s less load on it and your MP will drop. Engine management is key. 2. I haven’t watched the track file. I’m assuming based on what I read that you were assuming the water will last forever? Here’s a screenshot for you…
  25. Programmer still needs a track
  26. Hi, we'll look into this ✌
