  1. Past hour
  2. Im sure you have it. Maybe you looked wrong? Or check if I didn't block the hanging (the cross will appear then). There may also be some other unofficial mod that is messing something up, although I doubt it in this case.
  4. Hi, really enjoying the opening of the campaign. On mission 2 I completed Mission 2a, but then the message that DCS couldn't load the mission 2b file came up, and I was unable to click anything on the debrief screen other than to close and not save progress. Do you think this is a one-off type of bug and just to re-fly 2a? Or is another workaround better? Thanks for any help, I'm really looking forward to getting further into this campaign.
  5. I’m not the quoted poster. But original versions of the Navy F-4B had Sparrows on the inboard rails for fleet defense missions. If I recall correctly, this capability was dropped later on.
  6. Ah, guter Punkt.
  7. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah....... sorry Major, that ain't workin' out so well, Sir...... Should I go get anuvver one? Exactly what I'm thinking - WinWing do a joystick extension rod (adjustable to 170mm) and a kit comprising extra springs, dampers, and different cam profiles. The dampers aren't sold separately, so I'll have to get the kit, ditch the spring/cam assy entirely and just use the dampers. That should provide enough tactile counter-pressure, without a resistance that I have to fight against. Their MFSSB base might be another option, being a 'movable force-senstitive sensor' where the amount of input depends on degree of force applied rather than haw far you move the stick. It's over £400 though and out of stock anyway. I did wonder if I was high enough. Something in the back of my mind thought my skids were still touching, but my eyes were sure I'd risen a good few feet... clearly my eyes lie!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! So my torque was way too low, and I still had basically zero altitude? No wonder I was flopping around like a drunken floor gymnast!! I tell you, these Track files are SO useful. Being able to see the point being explained makes so much more sense, now. Thank-you very much for sharing that!!
  8. And hat’s my problem - i dont have this option. Take a closer look tomorrow (again) and let you know what happens.
  9. I mean for Soviet bombs these fuses are only affecting arm time (time needed in air before being armed), and the “function delay” that effects how long after impact they detonate, right?
  10. Only CH-47F sling load not releasing. Neither the emergency nor the normal cargo release works, other helicopters are fine
  11. I had reduced the % on the size of the mask, and with my Quest Pro, could see that it was doing something. Really confused me for a while, as I was wondering if there was a fault with Quad views. Disabled the mask and that solved the issue. I'm going to try it again with different %.
  13. @lothar29 Putting all cooling related aspects aside, as peachmonkey noted above, in the video your MW/fuel selector is set to "fuel" instead of MW mixture. If your plane was in standard config (ie. aft tank filled with MW mix), that means you were constantly dumping water and methanol into your fuel system. Petrol engines don't run on water , so your DB605 quit after a while. It's been modelled like that since module release by the way and default selector position has always been "MW", so If yours is flipped down after spawn, I would check if something hasn't changed in your control bindings after the last update.
  14. I'll try that. I did try and use the L-shift + 1 but that didn't remove it.
  15. Awesome, thank you!
  16. @Don Rudi Hi, your work is always welcome, thanks! I'd love to play with it . Maybe an online version if you have time, but in the FWAF style: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/it/news/newsletters/973222a62a8ccce30f2c0bfc1bec055c/ (for 2-3 MiGs)?
  17. Please take a scan here:
  19. one thing i would add time and time again people are asking about fuzes and how they are modelled in game, and what each fuze does in relation. This is something that ED need to document, with each fuze and specifically state what this is in relation to the game (so those that dont know can educate themselves). When i was last having a discussion about this i said they would be in the manual as knew what they where, and was surprised to be told they were not either in the base game manual , a supplement or the aircraft module. Is this still the case for both western and russian fuses? I would also expand this to weapons in general - its something that most kids will not have a clue about (thankfully).
  20. Just remembered that also this could be due to monitor features like Gaming HDR and some other enhancements, which my monitor has too, all of which I disabled because it was giving me inconsistency in image brightness, something like a flicker, so maybe if you have monitor that has these features try turning it all off.
  23. apart from the roughly 15 steps you dropped, yeah sounds about right….
  24. Hm, maybe you have bit of hardware issue (video card or monitor, maybe even the cable between the 2)? On something slightly different, my dcs runs pretty smooth but yesterday I was setting up VoiceAttack so I set dcs to non full screen, smaller than monitor native resolution, and after switching back and forth between the applications I noticed dcs getting very stuttery even while I had vsync 120 fps which was weird, I thought maybe because I had 4 Mig-29a in the mission it overwhelmed my video card but turns out it didn't, I restarted the pc and after that it was smooth again in the same mission. So I don't know, maybe theres bit of memory leak or something when dcs switches from one view to another as it did with me switching from dcs to VoiceAttack? Maybe try a different cable first, I'd also check if possibly video card is running too hot, running out of vram... anything like that... even changing settings in dcs... computers can have tons of things causing issues and most of us here know this. Good luck in finding what causes it
  25. Today
  26. Is the U-2 flyable now
  27. It works in the mission editor as well.
