The module has evolved, and the original training is still the original. Don’t close your cowl flaps like the training says to. Open them to keep your cylinder head temp in check. Also, your oil temperature (not pressure) requires you to open your oil cooler flaps. I set these 50% open for the entire flight and never worry about it afterwards. You can choose to close them in small increments every few minutes and keep an eye on the oil temp if you are concerned about the small drag penalty.

Using the Kiowa for reconnaissance on the Germany map is quite challenging, as the fields are filled with hay bales that emit an extremely high heat signature — even higher than vehicles. This makes operating with FLIR particularly problematic, since there are hundreds of false heat sources scattered across the terrain.

Никакой "картридж разработанный для радара сапфир-23" не выключается при работе Н001, значит не должен выключаться и при работе Н019. А вот про достоверность показаний вопрос дискуссионный. В каких случаях идет цветомузыка, а в каких реальные показания? Как это моделировать? Возможно ли вообще это смоделировать? Тут я не силен.

I am not sure is it also true for 2d playing DCS but after i fly VR and save my track, there is just no single time i got a correct playback in sync. This crappy replay system just broken as hell. I tried different modules, old and news, light and heavy, there is just no difference, playback is ALWAYS out of sync like after 2-3 minutes. Also i tried play missions as a server and playback server tracks, it makes no difference. I tried change my graphic settings to lowest possible, but it didnt work as well. Any advice maybe or i should just forget about this <profanity>ty replay system and just play and record in real time?

I think i found the problem- e.g #1: i start a flight with ext tanks & with not fully fueled jet -> no problem - everything works fine i connect and refuel. e.g #2: i start a flight with ext tanks & with fully fueled jet -> i try to refuel after losing some fuel (obviously from the ext tanks automatically) -> problem Note: When putting external fuel tanks, you cannot set the fuel amount in them separately; you can only chose the "fuel%" which one would assume is the internal jet fuel- (Wrong, its overall fuel amount). Because when you put less than "fuel 100%" and start the flight, you will see that neither the external/internal tanks are full. meaning the "fuel%" will decrease both ext AND internal fuel. My conclusion is that there is a bug that wont let the tanker fill you if the inside-fuel-tanks are full. that's why he's keep telling me "tRaNsFeR cOmPlEtE - dIsCoNneCt"- He sees me as fully fueled because he only cares about the internal tanks. Solution: whenever mission editing a client plane- lower the "fuel%" to 99%, this way, after losing the fuel in your external tanks, the tanker will fuel you because initially he will see that you're not 100% full (which this is the core bug i think). Now, am i the only one suffers from this bug?

It's well intended from your part but you're a bit late to the party.

Confirmed, yes indeed with have a singe 9.12a 18151.

The main issue for me was usually the Cylinder head temperature, it moves rather quickly and as soon as the needle goes out of the range, the engine quits. You should continuously check that one and adjust the cowl flaps accordingly. After that, check your oil temp and manifold temp. Last but not least, don't overboost your engine. If you maintain those four parameters, your engine should never seize. If it doesn't help, attach a short track so we can see more.

Для чего сказано что НА ЭТАПАХ ПОИСКА И ОБНАРУЖЕНИЯ ВЦ выключить излучение на 5-10 сек. а не выключить СПО совсем ! Сорбция не синхронизируется с Л006Л в связи с чем и написано что использовать СПО совместно с Л203И нельзя !

В сторону изобретения СПО-15ЛМ Community edition? В английской ветке в хотелках есть предложение скрестить частично функциональность берёзы из FC3 с FF берёзой. От берёзы FC3 предлагается взять отображение угроз в ППС и предупреждения о запуске. И должен быть выбор по галочке в редакторе -реальная и модернизированная. В принципе нормальная идея. БКО для Ка-50 III же реализовали по мотивам реального, а не строго с реального.

Me and a buddy on our training server had the same issue as well - RWS mode TDC press is not locking a valid target. Valid being, a DL contact, with a brick, within rdr wlvation parameters. It seems to happen more when the radar contact is within 10 miles and coming towards you fast. Not sure if it’s a ‘thing’ but putting the cursor somewhere near the cot etc and designating seems to work?
