FYI - I finally got around to the Win11 upgrade, and no need for any kind of process manager as far as I can tell. No sign of the demon lags like I was seeing before... So as much as we might love to hate on Win11 it at least does this better

^ I can only assume temp changes were slower / easier to manage (?) in RL, because when you think about it, P-51 was the only US WWII fighter with full auto cooling flaps. All the others, whether army or naval ones, were full manual or auto/manual hybrids.

Just a heads up...Don't forget to go into the LUA to allow use of the ED Sniper pod. I forgot to do that and now I don't have it...Might have to do a rebuild of DCS and double check all that when I reinstall the mods...

We don't know either how to fix it if you don't upload it, as a reference for future issues like this.

Open the script and fix it. Something in there is triggering that error.

Got it!! Changed a few lines but got to work, at least in the M.E. anyway. Full-fledged MH-47G with M-134's and all. Well, mostly...Still needs the waist gunner on the M-240's. Maybe ED will get into that at some point, who knows.

Yes, to fly it you need the CH-47F module. You should be able to place it on the ground or have AI fly it. I had an AI wingman for the trailer video linked in the first post. Unknown if the AI will use any of the weapons, I have not not done any testing for that.

You can also fix the DLSS/DLAA blurring by increasing the resolution.

The AI opens bomb bays with argument 26 and if the pylon has the number 2 in its code (pylon(1, 2, 0.0, -0.75, -1.45....) However, it does this when using air-to-ground missiles or bombs placed in the bomb bay. For air-to-air missiles, this option is not implemented in DCS.

It's worth noting that Syrians had proven not to be very competent equipment operators. I don't know if it's that Russians failed to train them, or that nobody with a brain would willingly serve in Assad's army, but it seems that in Syria, any system more complex than an AK has a very low combat efficiency. Russians aren't terribly competent, either, but at least they actually know how to operate their equipment beyond "mash the launch button and hope you'll score a hit". Such SAM systems are not a hands-off, fully automated affair, a lot still depends on the crew.

The upgrade includes the replacement of computers I have mentioned. It just confirms that for R-77 radar had to be changed to add compatibility with R-77. With this computers also came better ECM resistance.

I only see latency wireless with VD. With oculus link cable there is no noticeable latency. It's the same as when using my Rift S. I still wish that the QP had DP though.

Gotcha...I'm seeing that in the LUA you excluded them. Also, you actually need to have purchased the Hook for any of this to work...Any clue if this will work without buying the Hook and just using it as AI or on the ground?

I am making a Campaign for my Squadron and in it I will fly the A-10C2 Tank Killer for the first time. I have played around with it on Pretense and it has always been that bird I wanted to learn but when I did, I got out of practice. Its going to be a lot of fun.
