  1. Past hour
  2. The video is from two years ago from before the realistic changes were made. Now the procedure is closer to real life. thank you
  3. I would also add these things to the list, which are already implemented in MV: Base color visualization: without shading. I find it extremely useful to determine differences between different sheets and to refine details before having a look at the "live" version. Argument list: in order to change the different arguments. Some planes have different settings for different "attachments" (kinda like the different helmet versions on the 18) and bort numbers are something that I edit most of the times on a livery (their "box" is not that obvious so it needs a lot of trial and error before they are fully aligned and with the correct size). Environment/sun settings: this way we could have a look at the where and how the shadows hit the whole model rather than having the same exact sun position. Move/rotate ability: rotate the model in its axes. To be able to expose it to different light sources and have full control of the views mentioned before.
  6. But the Hornet can edit the bomb laser code through MFD, isn’t this sort of a bug? I learned through Tricker’s video It works fine for him
  7. this has been reported thank you
  8. So where can you find old version of Caucasus map...
  9. Did Warsaw Pact countries use their own native language in their MiGs, Suchois, Antonovs, Tupolev and Iljiushin? Were there Polish, Romanian, Czech, Hungarian and German labels and Natashas or Nadjas or whatever the East called their Bitchin' Betties? No, of course not. Nothing weird about that. Of couse every NATO nation uses English in aviation- except for the French, but their history in NATO is special in many ways, so... And I'm guessing that nowadays Airbuses and Boeings in Russia also have English cockpit labels and avionics.
  10. Не знаю, товарищи, как по мне, РЛС на текущий момент почти бесполезна, ибо захватывает в лоб, максимум с 20 км, чаще с 15. Вертушки и вовсе не видит у земли...
  11. I now did some testing in Caucasus. At least both the map's own and manually placed RSBN/PRMG stations behave the same. It's still not clear to me to where the HSI thin needle with the circle at the end is supposed to point when in landing mode. Please find tracks attached. Also the following what I've found. Being in navigation mode, the needle points to and swings around when passing RSBN station. Here in Kobuleti with manually placed RSBN (RSBN car placed at around the 45° left position): Same behaviour in Maykop with map RSBN (RSBN to right in the revetment): Now comes the weird part. Setup is the same RSBN channel tuned to RSBN and PRMG to PRMG channels. Being in landing mode, the needle points and deflects to the left, when passing the PRMG glideslope car having it on the right front side (next the ILS(?) antenna): Same in Maykop, needle swings left: Where should the needle be pointing to when in landing mode!? Why it is swinging to the left when approaching and passing the glideslope car having it front right? If it's a bug, feel free to move the thread to the bug section. Thanks Jens 20250923_L-39_RSBN_PRMG_needle_map_objects_Maykop.trk 20250923_L-39_RSBN_PRMG_needle_manual_objects.trk
  12. I've got it! The icon was confusing me ... the dot with the two circular arrows was telling my brain it was a moue wheel command! For anyone else confused, its a left mouse click and drag and a right mouse click and drag! DOH!
  13. The track was long because I was trying to isolate whether it was a missed setting at start-up and I figured it might help. Terrain is over... well... grass. Do you mean maps? Seeing it in Kola, Germany and, as of last weekend, in Normandy.
  14. I never said, that Fulcrum is better or even as good as Eagle, I m just saying, that even in DCS, while in SOME circumstances they are close, overall Eagle is much better. My point was, that combat scenarios involving those 2 were assymetrical, also be mindfull, about 3rd grade export variants, used by Iraq during Desert Storm, no helmet cuing system and R-73's, and in those fights where they faced Eagles, this IMO mattered. You can find raports from those fights online from US pilots perspective.
  15. RWY10-29 names in the H-3 Southwest Airbase's info panel are not reciprocal and don't match neither true (124-304) or magnetic headings (119-299). Should be changed to 12-30. At least this looks like 30 to me:
  16. На КПП вверху планка показывает отклонение (та которую плохо видно ) На ПНП возможно просто не доделали, как и директорные планки.
  17. Thanks for the reply @dutchili. I was thinking that maybe I could purposely break the datalink on each aircraft if it were possible to create a fault in their system. Yesterday I checked the F18 page but didn't find anything useful. Today I'll look at the F16 page and try again.
  18. Thanks for the explanation, much appreciated sir!
  19. Does that mean that all nato countries use English in their cockpits instead of their own languages? That brings me back to weird
  20. Following the latest DCS theater update, the CombatFlite database has also been updated. H3 Airfields Cluster Overview of current airfields for Iraq theater
  21. Hi, this is correct, laser codes can only be set when on the ground. In the cockpit all you are doing is matching codes to your weapons which have already been set by the ground crew.
  22. ED, hire this guy already, or at least let this be part of the core so it will work across missions/campaigns/multiplayer pretty please! Fantastic work Bandit! [emoji1303] Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
  23. Hello, i found out recently when i was training to use various laser bombs in f18, using the TGP(litening for instance) with gbu16 or 12 or 10, The bombs cannot be guided with laser when was set to the same laser code(different from the orignial code when loaded by ground crew) on both TGP and bombs in MFD on ground or in the air(and yes I arm the laser) It sometimes could only guide properly when the the bomb laser code was edited on "Rearm &Refuel page" on ground, editing the bomb laser code through MFD after loading doesn't work, even in the air, it won't guide through the TGP laser. I think it is a bug, here is my trackfile f18 GBU12 success .trk F18 GBU16 laser .trk f18 GBU12 fail .trk
  24. +1. I have make a lua script to mIAHeavyArmedShipDamage.luaake more damage regarding the explosive mass (for ship). (Boost coeff in line 1 to increase damage). But I think the true issue is ED's damage model for ship.
  25. Today
  26. Any chance ED will fix this. Its been too long...
  27. I have found atleast 4 sources that attest to MiG-29 having blanking circuits for its radar to RWR, as was standard for any Soviet radar equipped fighter with RWR. It’s basically undeniable it had one at this point. And I’m probably forgetting one!
