  2. I have no idea why I can't save tracks, that feature somehow got broken and it copies the same track over and over again. I am unable to save tracks, it just saves an old one each time, no idea why. Will try to fix it. So maybe someone can record a track for this. I think I found out that if you boresight your mavericks flying south to north, then boresighting the mavericks will have a slight error along the length axis, so it will deviate a bit before or aft of the target (little bit to the south, little bit to the north). If you now attack from east to west, the error will be to the side (still a bit north or a bit south, instead of long or short of the target), and maverick handoff will fail, because the error now matters, and you will land a significant distance away from your target. The error needs to be a angular one, not meters to the north / south / east / west something. Steps to reproduce: - Align your mavericks in the air, flying south to north. Check if they return to the target, they will. - Now fly around that target, and attack the same target with a 90 degree offset (west to east). You will see that your mavericks are now shifted left or right. - Attack from the south, and alignment will be better again, because the error doesn't matter as much now (as you are a bit in front of or aft of the target, but the seeker will still point right at it) Maybe someone can test that and record a track... Because my track feature broke. Attached a mission file to test, there is a single target a bit south of the others. Boresight your mavs and that target, fly out east and notice the direction and visible amount of the error. Let me know if you see the same or not. Mav_test_boresight.miz
  3. You don't need 2FA, (Like Google Authenticator), to log into your account to DCS to play. Only correct user/password. But that's the same as the main site. Cheers!
  4. evidence. Im pretty sure I can get evidence of who definitively shot JFK and he will still question it because it doesnt involve LHO. No, at this point, its monkey business.
  5. I have landed several times within parameters, approach speed 90kts and 3 pt. attitude, and the tail hook has torn off. I then take off again without repairing the hook and with the cockpit tailhook lever in the lowered position have landed normally as if the tailhook was attached and functioning. Is this a bug?
  6. Sorry. that's what I meant when wrote regenerating. My campaigns are organized the same way. I have all terrains, almost all modules and majority of paid campaigns. I normally choose the module first and then the terrain and campaign or mission I would like to fly. Therefore I organized everything accordingly.
  7. You guys can also share your evidence in DMs if you are so bound and determined to change someone's mind, but yes, please keep to the first post here.
  8. On DCS, Campaigns are files of type .cmp not .exe. Campaigns function within the DCS environment, so you need to run DCS first, and then load the Campaign there. If you place the Campaign files on the location suggested by its documentation, then on DCS you find the Campaign under its "Campaign" menu Item, and then select "My Campaigns"
  9. You know...I can show it to you, its been showed to you by other people better than me. I cant understand it for you, or see it for you. I get it; you love cheerleading for Ron. Put your big boy panties on and just know that all you gotta do is accept that 2+2=4.
  10. "evidence"
  11. Right. The evidence is all around, I just can't present it to you...
  12. The unit setting shouldn't affect aircraft avionics, though I think FC3/4 is an exception in this regard, but I am not sure. So the F-16 for example will only show you imperial units, and that has always been like this. The unit setting only/mostly affects units outside of an aircrafts cockpit, so F2 view, mission editor, F10 etc.
  13. Evidence is all around you, you just dont like what you see. Quit asking dumb questions.
  14. yes there are stars in the southern sky and I want to see them. It would be awesome to have a historically correct night sky
  15. As I am aware, newer modules and teams have been compliant with all aspects of contracts signed.
  16. That shouldn't be the case. The F-16 self trims to 1G in pitch. So you set your attitude, hold, the FCS should trim. Lateral trim is required with asymmetric loads (also having the TGP installed will have an effect). You should check with other axis/button conflictions using the RCTRL ENTER pop-up. Cheers! 17. No, please re-read what I said. thank you
  18. Hi guys, gals, I noticed that the Viper seems to need a lot of trimming while flying straight and level, at least for me. Even then, the nose will slowly go up or down, or roll slowly left right, regardless of trim settings. Anybody else have this issue? Might be my curves are set with sensitivity too high or something. I decided to check with you fine folks about this issue, as I just watched a vid where a F-16 pilot explains that he almost never used the trim hat, except maybe a little yaw during takeoff/landing, but never vertical trim. Anyhow, just wondering about this issue. Thanks and good day! DrDetroit
  19. Looks normal here, you can include some screenshots and a track and we can take a look. Its not gonna be as sharp as the TGP.
  20. Roadmap has been updated, thank you
  21. Honestly? If the reason is being afraid that your RTX4090 goes kaput right after the warranty expires, then I'd keep the money. The only thing that I would strongly recommend is to (if you haven't done it already) undervolt your RTX4090, and A.S.A.P. Every single GPU, whatever segment and model, ALWAYS comes overvolted from factory. The silicon lotery, time constraints for QC, materials and customer assistance costs, these all play a role. And so the bean-counters at each manufacturer decided long time ago that GPUs better get some hefty extra (i.e, excessive) voltage in them, so that a LOT more of them work at the announced clocks once out of the production chain to testing, then onto the retailers/shops. They're enforcing GPUs stability that way, lifespan of the product be damned (society of consumerism, there you have it). By undervolting your RTX4090 you'll get at the very least a 20% reduction in power consumption, and only a ~2% reduction in performance (extremely good trade-off). This will put less stress on the whole circuit, make it run cooler, which also helps stability and especially - which is what you're looking for - prolongue its lifespan. Most times tremendously improved, in such ways, over "stock". And there are no downsides to it. Everyone should undervolt their GPU, because that's how it should have been from the start, but alas. Various undervolt tutorials specific to the RTX4090 in youtube. Among plenty others, these two for example: Direct link to this video Direct link to this other video
  22. I know this is an ancient thread, but just an update on this ... I fly a mix of both US and Russian aircraft. I have my default units set to Metric, only because I started flying in DCS in the Su-25T and Su-27 and I've never changed it. I've been flying the F-16 recently and unless I am flying at 20,000 metres I assume that the aircraft automatically defaults to feet. Is that a correct assumption? So has something changed in recent years? The only time I really notice it is in the Mission Editor where everything is in metric, but I can do a fairly accurate conversion in my head.
  23. I have downloaded the Corsair School files however I do not see an .exe file. The campaign wont run. Any help? Thanks
  24. NEW COURSE!!! We're rolling out a Combined Arms course!!!! It will first be graduate only however we will be quickly rolling it out to the public!
  25. That's right, at night cities should make the surrounding sky glow and the bottom of clouds above it visible
