I’m glad you solved this. I had the same exact problem, but it was happening on the FC3 Mig29, the Hornet, and several other modules. I made some changes to the mirror settings with no effect. It was bothering me enough the first night of the release, that it actually gave me VR nausea. I decided to shut down my computer and VR headset completly, and when I fired everything up the next day, I no longer had slower frame rates for the mirrors. I’m glad for it, as that was truly horrible in VR lol. Hopefully it doesn’t return!

Peace! As many others I fly with TrackIR. I have the mouse keys set on the stick, but the disappearing mouse coursor hurts my feelings. So here is my wishlist: 1. An option to set the time until the coursor disappears, when the mouse is not moved, and an option to dissable it. I would do this with a timer 0-xx seconds, while 0 means the mouse coursor does not disappear at all 2. An option to let the mouse coursor return to a self defined fixed position instead of disappearing when the mouse is not moved. I would do the same, timer 0-xx, while 0 means the coursor does not return to fixed position, plus x and y coordinates. I dont think these are difficult changes and I think they help a lot of people. Thanks for reading, Your Psycho

General Flight Model Development Progress....any news?

Over 2 years since the last news. Is the really the latest? -
Only Pre-Designation mode. Not CCIP or CCIP Delayed modes.

The problem only appears to happen with the Harrier. AI Harriers set to take off from parking only taxi to runway but do not take off, bloking it so the mission cannot continue as no other flight can take off. Any flight taking off before them does take off without issues. Last time I played was last saturday or sunday, before the current patch, and they did work (but it was a different retribution mission, pretty much the same aircraft involved, but different flights) Attached are two missions in CW and Caucasus as an example, with flights on some random airbases. I did have mods, but I've removed the "./mods" folder entirely to test it (please do check the missions in case there is something else on my end that might be causing it) HARRIER_BUG_CW.miz HARRIER_BUG_CAUCASUS.miz

Suggestion: Su-25A Full Fidelity after the MiG-29A FF?
TotenDead replied to R_0xD's topic in Su-25 for DCS World
The Su-25 won't bring anything New in terms of a2g capabilities. The MiG-27M or K would. As well as Su-17M4 -

I have noticed that the AIM-9s tend to have intermittent growling during maneuvers. It appears that this happens if you roll the F-4 relative to the target. In the first track, you will notice that despite the AIM-9J being uncaged, it will still lose lock when the F-4 is maneuvered. The other track shows the AIM-9J losing lock if the target is flying straight and the F-4 rolls side to side, implying the lock stability is a function of bank angle relative to the target. I believe this is the case for the AIM-9B and AIM-9M, but I have yet to test them. I will attach tracks for other AIM-9 versions when I find time. Please let me know if there are other tests I should perform. Thanks! AIM-9J intermittent lock.trk AIM-9J intermittent lock-non-maneuvering target.trk

I’ve been flying the FC3 version of the Mig29 as my primary plane for the last few months. It’s always been a fun plane for just messing about in aerobatic flight, and generally felt great to fly. It had its idiosyncrasies, that for the most part, simply made it feel unique and rewarding to master. For example, engines that can blast through the trimmed speed and send you off like a rocket before you can feed in more nose-down trim. Or the “AoA squat” and feeling how it digs, plows, and mush through the air during low speed turns. Love it!!! The only thing I didn’t like about the FC3 version was the dynamics at the edge of the envelope, specifically during stall break, where the wings sharply rolled hard left and right (also in a way that seemed unexpectedly violent given how much it generally likes to mush through the air), and unloading the wings wasn’t really able to make it recover. Sure the stick limiter is there to protect against stalls, but that’s no fun :). Also, because the stick limiter was annoying in how it cyclicly pulsed the stick forward at a set rate, making the nose bob up and down in an annoying manner. Imagine my surprise when I did not buy the FF Mig29A, but yet, my FC3 version has been cured of all its nasty habits!!!! The FC3 version feels absolutely fantastic now at edge of the envelope! It not longer has a hard stall break, but rather progressively mushes, adding power tends to increase AoA until you’re basically vertical at zero airspeed like a hornet! Also I noticed the stick pusher behavior is much more subtle, only kicking in when you’re it’s really high AoA, and it does not do so in a predetermined pulsing pattern! Honestly flies so nice now, that it almost feels like I stole it something from the guys that paid for the FF version I held off on buying the FF version out of fear that the graphical demands would be excessively increased (like the F-5 remaster). But it sounds like it’s comparable to the hornet base on comments here. So maybe I will buy it just so I don’t feel guilty flying around the new and improved FC3 version lol.

So, I suppose someone with necessary documents should make a bug report stating that SPO-15 should work properly even when the radar is on?
-
Awesome work! I'm curious; do you do these performance calculations through interpolated empirical data (graphs and tables from the manual) or is it done using flight mechanics and equations of motion?
-
Thanks! Apologies for not catching it! -Ryan

Many users have reported getting kicked out of the game lately. I'm sure you're right it's probably the connection, but still. ED needs better grace periods. One user has to go offline all the time to not get kicked out when he edits missions. That's not how it's supposed to work. And it doesn't happen with other games. Have only happened to me once, when I was logged in the game during a planned maintenance. @TOViper Several users have complained lately. I'm sure it's the protection system, and suddenly the connection is "broken" for a few seconds, and it doesn't remediate by itself, when the connection is back online. It says preset C, and I don't know how to get the K setting right. I've tried various settings in the driver (see image). It just doesn't overwrite! The autoexec.cfg is a normal TXT file with a .cfg extension, right (It should be normal for a CFG file to appear as a TXT file (type)? Should I try another tool like DLSS Inspector? For example, the log file contains the following (I'm surprised it mentions DX11 and not DX12): 2025-09-19 19:10:13.208 INFO DX11BACKEND (300): Use DLSS preset 'C'

Trying to make a video comparing both cockpits side-by-side. However, the scale and some arrangement of the panels are so different. I tried half-day but can't really align them, when I got the HUD right, but the top mirror was way off. Even the landing gear handle is slightly different. Then if you turn the view, there is no way to put them side-by-side and not get confused. It is way different from the F-5E Reworked. Wow.

Спасибо, пытался, при этом почему-то она виснет ещё до того, как начнёт РУС перемещать. Да и вообще, как-то зоны по осям крутить костыльно, надо опция для ффб джойстиков отключать это прерывание.
