Being of the russian/soviet variety, one has some inherent difficulties to overcome when compared to western models most of us are used to. Basic things such as units, the availability and layout of cockpit controls and in more general terms, the installed equipment supporting solely the soviet doctrine of aerial warfare are quite different. So a fair comparison is not an easy thing to do. My suspicion being that it is meant to replace the M2k eventually and compared to the Mirage I find the Mig way more challenging to learn. But then again, the Mirage was build around the idea of an easy and flat UI with only a few knobs and controls to operate in order to make things happen the right way. Thats not my impression of the Mig. Russian/soviet design choices do not seem particularly user friendly across the DCS board. Speaking of leverages to work 20+ switches on startup or such things. So yeah, you may be in for a treat.

I have an issue concerning the Dynamic Spawn templates: Unique radio frequencies are saved for each aircraft in the Mission Editor. However, when a user spawns into a Dynamic slot, my list of unique frequencies are overwritten with the default radio frequencies. Therefore, a custom list of radio frequencies are not retained in the Dynamic Spawn system. Does anyone else experience this? A track file will soon follow. For example, F/A-18 Comm 1 channel 1 is set to 230 MHz. After spawn-in, channel 1 is set to 225 MHz.

Anyone have a good mission editor template for WW2 carrier operations with the Corsair? Looking for a saved map or template with a carrier group and lots of units placed around the deck to make it look realistic. There are lots of super carrier templates like that, but haven't found any for the WW2 carrier.

Windows server is by default not fullfilled by stupid/annoying services that are more busy to "spy" you rather than make your system works. But they indeed share the same core engine, so basically you can achieve same results by disabling services, remove stuff like overlay and others on windows 11. It tepends on what is the purpose of the machine: Host time to time a dedicated server for your group of friends? Windows 11 will be ok. Host 24/7 complex mission with persistence feature, several player, open to public? Go for Windows server

Tactics differ in the axis planes. These are pure b n z fighters. Flying against AI is pretty much worthless.

Also bei den MB Recherchen die ich bereits getätigt habe raucht mir langsam der Schädel.... Ist ein B650e Chipsatz heutzutage noch ausreichend oder doch einen X670/X870 weil neuer und ggf. zukunftsicherer.... auf der anderen Seite bis ich mir in ca. 8 Jahren wieder ein neues System zulege behalte ich mein altes MB noch...??? eher nicht... also wozu ein aktuelles MB zulegen wenns die älteren Versionen auch noch gut machen.... Ich bin in der glücklichen Lage nicht so auf das Budget achten zu müssen aber übertreiben muss ich es auch nicht... Asus Rog Strix B650E E Gaming Wifi wäre mein Favorit... oder doch ein MB mit B850 Chip??? Ist echt mühsam das richtige MB zu finden!

Главное отличие - при зажатом FTR вперед система стабилизации полета (SAS) приостанавливает работу, а при пилотировании с выкл удержаниями и без зажатия триммера - работает и SAS, и координация разворота если не отклонять педали от триммированного положения. Независимо от игровых устройств.

Well I had some issues and I was tempted to try Bazzite a linux Distro that did not work out too well so I went back to win 11 Pro 24h2. now the frametimes are under 10ms but I still am getting some high .1%. not sure why it is different now as it is a secure erase and reinstall win 11.. If it is the .1% that is causing some issues I will need to adjust it somehow.. will continue to tweak.. but the last time I checked I was at 99.8%.. which I guess is not bad but I sure wish I know why that .1% drops out every now and then..

It is with heavy heart today I say goodbye to longtime friend and mentor of 26 years, Zipper. He passed away last night after battling some long-term health issues. He is a retired Army Vet and retired Police Officer with a combined total of 44+ years serving his country and community. His passion for military aviation, his country, his community, and DCS had no limitations. I have never met anyone who could talk to you for 3 or 4 hours about any military aircraft you had a question about. His house was museum of aviation relics, and he was walking encyclopedia of knowledge on the Army. It was a hard hit this morning getting the news as I had just finished putting something together for us on the new Marianas map. He always enjoyed flying with Kandy and I and receiving the kind responses out of the community that followed our videos. DCS will not be the same for me without him. He will be missed. I wanted to thank everyone who has followed him around with us on "into The Jungle". We always had a good laugh with the comments, and he was always our comic relief. To the best virtual wingman and friend a guy could ask for....Zipper.

I placed now some UH-60 on those parking hot positions. They explode when traversing from the grass to the runway. Same for the SH-3 Seaking mod.

An hour after the Syrian MiG29s left the area, some Turkish F-4 comes in, there is a hell of a complex list of enemies and friends and what not in the Syrian Civil War, but everybody except ISIS hates ISIS. So the Turks simply thinks this is a nice opportunity to blow up some ISIS stuff. First mission with GBUs in the F-4, using the GBUs are kinda like rubbing your stomach while patting your head thing. Only 50% effect from the bombs, then I almost get shot down by a BMP

As I've been reading this thread over the past several days, I frequently saw the names of some of the official Aerges people at the bottom of the screen, concurrently reading the thread. And THAT actually annoyed me, especially since people were starting to get nasty with each other. If the sentence you've cherry picked from an obscure video about a VR headset is still applicable, then obviously one of the officials reading this topic could have re-asserted it right here and right now. Why didn't they?

И еще одна важная деталь. Апачь управляется совершенно по-разному при включенном канале автопилота AT и зажатой Force Trim в положении Release, и когда ты пилотирует с выключенными каналами автопилота! Я предпочитаю маневрировать, управляя просто джоем, периодически триммируя быстрым нажатием Force Trim и быстрым возвратом ручки джоя в центр. Так верт послушный и устойчивый. (Более того, при незначительных отклонениях, я могу вообще долго не "перетриммировать".) При зажатой Force Trim в положении Release, вертолет - другой! И такой он мне не нравится! P.S. Существенная замечание. У меня пружинный джой и в качестве педалей - твист. При другом наборе девайсов, наверное, расклад может быть совсем другим.
