Hi I am so nervous about this as my Windows tech experience is very basic . Does your reply mean you have the same Wing Wing set up as me ? I saw the use of Helios in the Whart hog video so does that mean I will be watching Helios generated DDI screens or pass through DDI;s with Re shade enhancement . Getting that lot to coordinate fills me with horror especially if I have to use Dispaly Fusion to adjust the screens! I wont be using my big bendy Coursair which is set to 3840 x 2160 but i will be using the WingWig screens with the size you specified . Does windows put task bars on the DDI'S ? Since they now not related to a large viewing screen for position does the display setting in Windows become easier. I am sorry if this all sounds negative but I have had serious problems with window positioning in my current set up and it does not seems to have been reported much on the forum so I can only conclude I and an isolated case or not too many are using the full Wig Wing set up . Sorry so many questions . Is there a step by step video or article which is baby steps to setting this up as above ? Thank you Hi, I have already posted this on another thread but for clarity this is my set up and shows what I refer to

cannot produce and mssing track file Getting ILS to Work
swartbyron replied to Sabreliner's topic in Bugs and Problems
Ah thank you so much! I've just tested this and I think I understand how its meant to work now. In return mode, the blunt end of the yellow needle is pointing you at the RSBN at the airfield while the larger white needle and the circle in the HUD tries to to get you in position and on the course to intercept the localizer and glide path. Once the NAV computer finds the localizer, it switches to landing mode and the yellow needle begins to search for the outer marker beacon also with the blunt end according to what channel you have your ADF radio set too. Once passing the outer marker beacon it will automatic switch to the inner unless you have selected it first and do a 180 once you have passed the beacon. You need to be landing using the runway the tower assigns you to use, or the beacons at the opposite end of the runway will be turned on and the needle will be homed in on one of them. This is also important to remember when setting up the landing direction when using the placeable RSBN/ PRMG cars and selecting the runway in the DTC! So you are meant to have both the inner and outer marker beacons set up in one of the channels on the ADF radio for the airfield you want to land at but landing using RSBN/PRMG, its not necessary. The system is set up to switch to ADF anyway for airfields without landing aids and only marker beacons and can be back up for PRMG failure I suppose. If you happen to have the ADF radio set up for another NDB or maker beacon at a nearby field in range, it will point to that. So if it cant find the signal of the channel and corresponding frequency you have the ADF set to, the needle will just spin endlessly searching. -

Looks really great, but I don´t have the Mig-29 (yet). I would love to see this kind of mission for the Heatblur F-4 Phantom - maybe in a post cold war united germany? F-4 was beside the Mig-29 in charge for air policing over germany.

Hi. I have been flying the Apache quite a bit, and I really appreciate the latest changes to George, especially him being able to put TADS on targets engaged with the FCR to allow me to do BDA. However ... I find George works so very sub-par for most of this. Tell him to scan an area with TADS, he does. But then he suddenly stops scanning. He suddenly puts the aircraft back to "safed" for no discernible reason. When I have a whole field of targets right in front of me, he does not see any of them. When he finally gets coaxed into tracking one of them, he says "out of range" while the target is, like, 50m in front (maybe he means "minimum range"?). When we crash, and under certain other circumstances, he keeps repeating "aircraft armed!" like a broken record, being incredibly annoying. Besides, this is similar behaviour to what wingmen exhibit when calling out spotted targets: Repeating the same call forever, every five seconds, like a record, potentially until the end of times (or fuel). All this greatly ruins immersion for me, and constantly nudging George to do stuff makes any mission tedious and, if George is not being useful after 40 minutes of low-level flying under the radar, plain out painful. Now, this is honestly so bad that I wonder if it's me. Am I doing something wrong, am I too impatient, do I have some kind of missconception about how to use George? Your experience and opinions would be welcome. Thanks.

Any way to remove the jester wheel in replay?
Zabuzard replied to Gunfreak's topic in DCS: F-4E Phantom
That wont work with the F4 but you could just delete the UI from the folder. In the F4 the entire UI is "local" and fully moddable. It is in Mods/aircraft/F4/UI/JesterWheel But it wont fix the problem, your UI inputs are not replayed and hence the aircraft is in a wrong state. If you make a coldstart with the UI using mouse or headtracking and then replay that, your aircraft will in the replay fly with engines off and no electric power. Consequently no weapons will drop, nothing works. Same in the F14. you can hide the UI but if the UI actions arent clicked then the aircraft is in the wrong state. -
So, ummm, did something happen? Could we at least get a statement from the team regarding the F1 development? Not a release date or anything, but at least a short blog on what is happening behind the scenes. Just some clearer communication between the devs and players.

sling loading cargo touches ground and fly's up in the air
Moezilla replied to badatthis's topic in General Bugs
In the past it has been a multiplayer-specific issue (and possibly dedicated server only, versus self-host MP). It could be related to how forces on the load/cable are interpolated across packets which would become more critical during the final stage of a descent. -
Because of early access. More liveries coming. From the change log, lists as 'in progress': - Additional liveries of countries that were operating MiG-29A. - Livery template. (planned for October) On UserFiles you can find liveries already https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/filter/type-is-skin/unit-is-mig-29a_fulcrum/apply/

What can we expect from 2026 video?

Yeah, but that's not a bug. It's probably a relic from back in the days. My suggestion was just a workaround, failed to mention that. Better make a whish. I'll support it. I really hope the new ATC will eventually have relevant accents. It bothers me too, but silencing them all together won't work for me i find text much more distracting, so that's what I disable. Playing devil's advocate - I've yet to see an airworthy warbird restored and rigged to factory, period-correct state. They're set up to for safe, relatively cost effective and comfortable modern ops, obviously. In scale and virtual modelling they're considered secondary sources for a reason, with period documentation always taking priority (if available). We can see on previous page that description of horn operation in period doc is unfortunately ambiguous and confusing at best. Is ED's interpretation incorrect then? Might be, but until someone comes up with a better period source that's all what we've got for now. Is it such a big deal, though? Depends. It's possible to fly around well below 7 lbs without horn by dropping RPM to econo cruise values, I do it all the time. Not bothered by incorrect ASI texture either, it's such a minute detail that I only found out about it in August when relevant bug report was posted, even though I've owned the module from the beginning. Granted, I fully understand that for some players these small issues can be proverbial straw that broke camel's back in the grand DCS warbird scheme of things, but as of now Mossie is otherwise fully mission-capable in single- and multiplayer, so there's no need to put in in virtual hangar, in my opinion at least.

I'm working on it, there is very limited support in the SSA alpha... I try to get everything running in the alpha by tomorrow... Computer crashed and I'm currently setting everything up again...
