  1. Past hour
  2. I agree it's probably unrealistic to hear it with your helmet on and the engine running, but it's the age old argument of sound effects being a substitute for the vibration you might feel if you were in the cockpit. The wings, wing box, actuators etc are fairly hefty mechanical system. There's no way there's no vibration through the airframe when that thing moves.
  3. Something broke with the last update. I've noticed this also. Even in manual mode, it's behaving strangely. Using the throttle quadrant, the dispense button should be simple. In manual mode, whatever program you set. The fwd button is supposed to dispense only one if the item, and aft is the other. I'm not in front of the game now, but the settings page still confirms the intent. Fwd on the thumb switch should dispense whatever the selected program is set to dispense for qty and type. For example, if the program on page 5 is selected, and it's set to 1 each, then the switch should pop one of the commanded, be it chaff or flare, depending on which way the pilot pushes that switch. Right now, it is fwd to run program, which doesn't seem to correlate to the settings programmed, and aft to stop program. It's all messed up.
  4. Wow. Thats nice. HAH I jumped into f-15 just for kicks with alt+j when thumbled my f22 into the ground kaboom. F-15 avionics were pretty interesting.. it autorudders itself in very funny ways. Which is ofc understoodable (AI flies it, the f-15C during missions, no problemo!). Wpns in this mod are very nice. Have tried pretty much every (and hit) wpn. I havent seen any problems. OFC weird behaviour if not hit with msls but thats understoodable also (I have no comptense what so ever anyway to say how they should behave if not hit..) (msl lofts with almost no speed left..) But thats nothing as usually they hit, even with pretty far ranges. I even kaboomed everything with AGM antirdr msl to s-300 (and 3 of my flying nukes the first one blew the up so I assume it nukes pretty nicely Anyways just wanted to tell -> evey wpn tested and seen no problems. (not every combo but atleast every msl more or less) and they seem to work, actually confusingly nicely compared what it was before the update. And as a coder I tell to fellow coder: Remember to also to sleep and eat OK ? Played almost trough the whole bear trap campaing, and everything has gone fine. (few bugs in missions itself, but nothing that I wasnt aware of before, not because the f22). Even f-16´s seemed to sead fine even after my nuke the s-300 black op...
  5. Hello It is weird I have : 2025-05-27 16:11:56.106 INFO APP (Main): CPU cores: 12, threads: 20, System RAM: 65381 MB, Pagefile: 4096 MB By the way, DCS worked one week ago. I didn't change any settings since.
  6. PKM on both sides and internal hardpoints useable clearly seen in this polish Hind in Afghanistan video.
  7. I assume these updates will be in the next update, or is there a standalone update ? RWC
  8. You might not have seen this - the Mig-29 part starts about 9 minutes in.
  9. Not sure what you mean? They are describing A. TWS/TWF mode, where it tracks and predicts 10 targets B. STT with R-27R/ER is launched and radar is alternating between maintaining the lock, sending out datalink instructions, and illuminating the target.
  10. Irrelevant we are talking about 29 here, and as we know firing 30mm is not an issue with 29.
  11. So it actually happened or is it disinformation? Wikipedia: "On the MiG-27 "Flogger" the GSh-6-30 had to be mounted obliquely to absorb recoil. The gun was noted for its high (often uncomfortable) vibration and extreme noise. The airframe vibration led to fatigue cracks in fuel tanks, numerous radio and avionics failures, the necessity of using runways with floodlights for night flights (as the landing lights would often be destroyed), tearing or jamming of the forward landing gear doors (leading to at least three crash landings), cracking of the reflector gunsight, an accidental jettisoning of the cockpit canopy and at least one case of the instrument panel falling off in flight. The weapons also dealt extensive collateral damage, as the sheer numbers of fragments from detonating shells was sufficient to damage aircraft flying within a 200-meter radius from the impact center, including the aircraft firing." I understand that it might apply to the earlier versions of the aircraft/cannon, but it was still a problem.
  12. You can hear them in DCS but only for AI aircraft.
  13. Ну я после перехода на VR каждый апдейт мерю утилизацию гпу на одном и том же модуле при одинаковых условиях - так вот после обновления нагрузка на систему упала, хоть и на сотые доли. Это значит оптимизация стала лучше.
  14. Today
  15. Perhaps it would be good to write a bug report on that issue of it underperforming in-game since the values I used are pulled from the lua definitions.
  16. Yes, I confirm HMD symbology "chunky" and blurry since last upgrade which was not possible before with a 21/9 screen ! This is really very very unfortunate once again after an update...
  17. The strange thing is, it only happens in the late afternoon. No problems in the evening and now I also just finished 2 hours working on my mission.
  18. Корректируемые лазерные полуактивные ракеты на базе НУРС.
  19. Ok, I'll give those things a try. Thanks for the comments.
  20. Did you find this in any manual?
  21. Remove this "originating IP" entry and the checkbox. Basically, with this you are telling your router that if something comes to it on a port 10308 it should go to the "Server IP". As mentioned before verify you don't have firewall blocking the traffic. Once you've done both you can go to some web service like port checker and see if the port is opened. If it's still showing that it's closed it might be worth talking with your ISP to check if you are behind a CG-NAT because if you are then the chances of it working are dropping close to 0.
  22. It's unlikely, more likely that value is related to the source address or addresses allowed to connect. Try with it disabled see if they can then connect. If they can then consider using their public IP in that field. Again, if they don't have a static it may change and you'll have to update the rule to reflect.
  23. That problem happened to the earlier version of Mig-27... Don't trust in propaganda disinformation
  24. Nope, my pictures above were taken from a 4k monitor and a Quest3.
  25. One question, I was half way through the campaigns; can I retain my current logbook status with the updates and continue from where I left off?
  26. This was an interesting post by overscan... MiG-29 Avionics | Page 2 | Secret Projects Forum & gives quite a different engagement regime to what we have in DCS for any N001 derivatives
  27. They are trying to join my server so should the originating IP be my IP address? Also, I have DCS.exe and folder set in the exclusions list. Is that what you mean by checking win firewall is allowing public IP traffic to port 10308?
