Da ich ein recht potentes System habe,(AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 8x 4700 MHz, Wasserkühlung, ASUS GeForce RTX 5090, 32 GB GDDR7, 128 GB DDR5-RAM, Dual Channel (4x 32 GB), 6400 MHz*) ist die Grafik in allen relevanten Bereichen in den höchstmöglichen Einstellungen. Ich nutze auch kein DLSS sondern TAA, Anti-Aliasing 16x. Wie gesagt habe ich sämtliche Videos dazu gesehen und bei jedem funktioniert das Gerät einwandfrei. Es kann also nur an mir liegen und das kann erfahrungsgemäß manchmal etwas dauern. Und der Alte tut es ja erstmal auch noch.

the ability to walk-around the aircraft is the only aspect of your list that I would truly enjoy, but I do realize that on a Sim where the majority prefers auto start, it is one of those features that most would try once and then forget about it because they are short on time for this hobby.

Any reason found for this? I'm investigating the mods we're using... but it's still occuring on random stuff. I need a fix for this, it may be related to a lethal lag issue brought on when getting too close to objects. If nothing else it's cluttering up my logs and irritating my inner perfectionist. Either way I certainly want the answers. Lmk! TY! -

As far as I know, Steam doesn't allow pre-purchase when no fixed release date is set. Since there's no fixed release date yet, there's no Steam pre-purchase. And as far as I know, pre-purchase on Steam is still planned, but it's probably going to be a bit shorter than over here on digitalcombatsimulator.com.

Bonjour à l'équipe DCS, Ceci n'est qu'un constat et non une certitude. F/A-18C, SEAD, missile HARM, mode PB avec code afférent. Lorsque plusieurs batteries SAM sont disposées en profondeur et se recouvrent mutuellement dans un même couloir, le missile HARM n'atteint pas son objectif (radar SR) en mode PB. Si le pilote manœuvre son avion pour attaquer les SAM l'un après l'autre sur ledit couloir, l'émission dudit radar n'est pas manifeste (par exemple dans l'ordre de dangerosité SAM 2, puis 3) et ainsi le code ne peut pas rechercher le radar SR puisqu'il semble ne pas n'émettre pour une raison qui m'échappe. Le constat est qu'un positionnement de plusieurs radars en profondeur l'un derrière l'autre, semble empêcher l’émission ; il n'y a donc pas de recherche et le HARM vole vers n'importe quoi ! Cela me paraît tenir d'une anomalie. Dans ce cas de figure, le pilote doit manœuvrer pour engager chaque batterie de SAM à la perpendiculaire de celle-ci. Cela me semble étrange et c'est une observation libre qui ne me paraît pas correspondre à une réalité. Qu'en pensez-vous, quel est l'avis ou le conseil que vous pourriez apporter ? En pièce jointe, le croquis de la mission incriminée. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This is merely an observation and not a certainty. F/A-18C, SEAD, HARM missile, PB mode with corresponding code. When several SAM batteries are positioned in depth and overlap each other in the same corridor, the HARM missile does not reach its target (SR radar) in PB mode. If the pilot maneuvers his aircraft to attack the SAMs one after the other in the corridor, the radar transmission is not obvious (for example, in order of danger SAM 2, then 3) and thus the code cannot search for the SR radar since it does not seem to be transmitting for reasons that escape me. The observation is that positioning several radars deep behind each other seems to prevent transmission; therefore, there is no search and the HARM flies toward anything! This seems to me to be an anomaly. In this case, the pilot must maneuver to engage each SAM battery at right angles to it. This seems strange to me and is an observation that does not seem to correspond to reality. What do you think? What is your opinion or advice? Attached is a sketch of the mission in question.

My view on ED and DCS as a whole is quite similar. I realy appreciate the fact that DCS is not a pay to win, lootbox, skinbyers mess like other online games. I like EDs Idea of what they want to build with it. Although I´m sometimes disappointed about the delvelopment speed or certain decissions (e. g. Dynamic Campaign, F35) DCS with all its shortcomings is still the best combat sim for me. Even considering the other sim that just got a nice graphics refresh, which I like to play also. But man that Razbam situation sucks, and I hope it will not happen again. In the long term, such things have the potential to ruin the whole thing, when they don´t stay the exception.

I'm hoping they'll do aircraft as a cargo also. Fly a C-130 in on some random patch of dirt. Push out a few AH-6 Littlebirds. Set a timer for late activation then have them fly out and destroy some stuff Lol I snipped this from their Discord. Hopefully this will help...

This happens on other maps, as well. It has been discussed before, but possibly related to the date the mission is set to take place? The solution is to enable “Unrestricted SatNav” in the mission, or for your local options. -
I think I have very slight astigmatism in my right eye. When people take pictures of me when I am drunk I can see it. Not much, but I can see it in those pictures. So that is why I have tried +1 the last few months on the right eye - and it feels better. But when I look in the mirror (when I am sober) I don't see it as much. I have not look myself in the mirror when I am that drunk for years. So - not sure how that will turn out. Try setting + 1 or -1 (or more) in the offset menu for your left eye. Keep the IPD as you have it now. See if it feels better or worse. No problem adjusting it back if it gets worse or doesn't help. Not sure if it is needed to calibrate eye tracking after this. I have not done that, and it works still as expected.

Many times I don't make sense - wifey says too ... so.. Well, I did a search in Steam Store, and a whole bunch of IL-2 games/versions/or addons (I don't know what the differences are) came up in a long list. So that confused me. Anway, got the Stalingrad game from Steam long time ago. So, I will install that one later. Thanks!

yes but I've disabled it from the OpenXR layer managment tool.. the game starts, but as soon as in the cockpit I turn the Motion Compensation ON, with a keyboard shortcut, the game freezes

None of the above. I do have what appears to be one dead pixel (it's that or a tiny grain of dust) and the screen-door effect against bright backgrounds that's like a very pale grey filter over the entire image. I'm wondering recently if that's what everyone calls muira/mura? I'm also assuming the very slight squiffiness I experience when I move my eyes off-center is the binocular overlap not being as good as the OG's. PeeDee, do you have astigmatism in that right eye? I have it in my left and have been thinking about playing with the offset stuff. How does it work?

Hi Bucic... I know it's been a couple of months but thought I'd mention the "simplest" method is to connect all arduinos to your computer individually via USB hubs and not worry about shift registers or anything else for that matter. I'm running 10 arduinos for my cockpit using this method and it's never let me down yet. I was/am very much a beginner when it comes to this. Is it correct, proper, or even ideal... probably not, but it works. Kenpilot... great write up on your journey. I especially like point 7 which I don't do nearly enough of. I'm four years in and still have a little bit to go.
