Would having them find a realistic reaction to every threat at all times with utilizing their specific column make-up, current immediate objectives and surrounding terrain be too much to expect here? Certainly, absolutely. Would it be computationally expensive to have a few more patterns available that could either be selected for a unit in ME or maybe even selected on a limited set of circumstances like 'road travel', 'road travel in urban area', 'off road travel' and 'engaged or stationary'? The first case of affairs, absolutely doable, not a big problem. The second option, probably a bit of work, but definitely feasible as well.

Oder sieh es mal so: In der Zeit von Ende 1990 bis ca. 1992 sind die dann gesamtdeutschen MiGs noch in ihrer alten Ostausstattung geflogen und wurden erst nach und nach auf den NATO-Standard umgerüstet. Gerade die von Dir gezeigte Bemalung des "Erprobungsgeschwader MiG-29" würde für diesen Zeitraum passen.

Certainly. To be perfectly, honest, little of it has to do with the upcoming C-130J module in itself, and as such it might be a little unfair on my part, but the fact is that a little bit of hyping up wouldn't be amiss. 1. The only bit that is in your field here, is that I increasingly can't shake the thought that I would have much preferred an earlier C-130 model. One with the steam gauges cockpit instead of being mostly screens. It is a bit late to bring that up, I am aware. Also, mostly personal preference, I'm sure the majority of the community appreciates the 'latest and greatest possible' approach. 2. This has nothing to do with your efforts at all, but there is the whole Razbam situation. People who take interest in those proceedings might have noticed that the 'discussion thread' has changed modes from being archived and then restarted every now and then to 'purge entirely and lock it up'. Everyone is of course entitled to form their own opinions, but I have a quite firm one on why that happened then, and it does not bode well. (I shall not elaborate further on that because it is off-topic and also will get this post deleted for sure) 3. Again, nothing you can do here, but another onset of general DCS fatigue. Or maybe ED fatigue? Lots of little things that irk and annoy me and worst of all is how much mere questions are treated as complaints, valid complaints as unreasonable hate, and stern criticism as heresy around here. That is, if any official reply happens at all. And no, this is in no way meant to be directed at anybody here personally, I am convinced the problem lies further in the management. Again, I am aware there isn't a lot to be done on your end about any of this. On the whole I am glad to say that I am still looking forward to the C-130J module and, to be honest, I am firmly convinced that it'll be a success. My whole point was supposed to be that my personal excitement level sure could get boosted with a few nice screenshots again sometime soon.

Does that mean we're not getting the 57mm rocket pods (MARS II from Polish production)? I was hoping they would be an option. Only the pylons were permanent by the way, the pods themselves could be mounted and dismounted for each flight as required.

Oh Man... it seems you just stepped into the huge pit of immersion addiction. I know what I am talking about Here are a few more things that can drive one much deeper into that particular addiction. 1. Hand tracking 2. Force feedback 3. 6 DOF motion platform 1 and 2 I have in place already. 3 will come some day. For hand tracking I use an Ultraleap Leap 2 tracking camera mounted to the Pico 4 Headset. Can you imagine to flick switches in the cockpit just with your fingers? That's what I do with my left hand, e.g. to enter frequencies via the UFC. On the right hand I wear a finger mouse and get a small cross where I point my finger. The finger mouse allows the use of the mouse wheel for rotary controllers such as the DDIs brightness knobs . And with both mouse button one can switch forth and back on rotary switches like the radar mode switch. DCS provides some options to set it up accordingly. There is just one issue. Sometimes your hand is tracked and something gets activated, but you don't know it. And suddendly you are bailed out of the Hornet, because you rested your hand on your thigh... And, your simpit should be rather spacy to prevent that you throw your hand into something. After the first flights with the brilliant Heatblur F4 Phantom module, I felt the need to be able to trim as it works in real analog planes. With no feedback a proper trim is rather hard to achieve. So I bought a Moza AB9 force feedback base. Now, I can feel the planes behaviour. And, it rumbles pretty well, so I dont feel the need for a shaker. Furthermore, flying helos is so much easier now. Next level and already planned is a 6 DOF motion platform... Just need to find some arguments for my wife why I can't live without Cheers

For the couple times I've raised issues with them they've been keen to set up video/screenshare calls, to work past the language issues (which also made me give up on a 3rd occassion when I was trying to recommend a feature). They also accepted a youtube clip with me annotating "look! there is the issue! look at it!" and pushed a simapppro patch a couple days later which I appreciated.

Any chance of getting the mod working again with current version of DCS F-16C? Other weapons aren't really necessary, so at least the CFT tanks themselves would function and their capacity would be displayed correctly.

Looks like that's a straight up upgrade! I have downloaded it but haven't played with it yet. Any chance to make it not needing to overwrite the default cockpit skin while being select able on the Sabre's special tab back and forth with the default? Outstanding work.

The problem I noticed talking to WW is that they're Chinese, and the person I was talking to was obviously using an automated translator. Leaving aside cultural differences, this makes the conversation awkward. I'd imagine a truly proficient English speaker might be hard to come by in China, and WW being a small company, they probably don't have any.

Приобрел я себе базу MOZA AB9. С джойстиком затруднений не возникло, у меня две ручки Thrustmaster F-16 – одна от HOTAS WARTHOG, другая – от HOTAS COGUAR. Обе определяются базой как родной джойстик MOZA MH16. Удлинители от базы Thrustmaster AVA тоже подошли, но с оговоркой. На той стороне, которая прикручивается непосредственно к базе, у удлинителей AVA есть два дополнительных выступа, которые мешают так сразу присоединить их к базе MOZA (на фотографии обвел их красными кружками). Пришлось взять дремель и напильник, и спилить эти выступы. После такого тюнинга удлинители стали полностью совместимы с базой MOZA. С креплением базы было всё просто. В начале лета я купил набор от MONSTERTECH для крепления РУСа и РУДа Thrustmaster HOTAS WARTHOG и базы Thrustmaster AVA к своему игровому креслу. Заодно в комплект при заказе добавил и пластину крепления под MOZA AB9 (была у меня чуйка, что я куплю таки со временем базу MOZA AB9))). Поэтому отсоединить пластину с базой AVA и установить вместо неё пластину с базой MOZA было делом практически нескольких минут. Длина профиля крепления MONSTERTECH позволяет крепить базу под креслом на любой желаемой высоте практически от пола до сиденья кресла, в зависимости от размера установленного удлинителя или его отсутствия. Получил неожиданный бонус. Поскольку база жестко прикреплена к игровому креслу, то вибрация от базы передается также сиденью и спинке кресла. Поэтому все вибрации базы я ощущаю не только рукой, но и пятой точкой ))). Что несколько улучшает погружение в игру.
