I am using Vjoy/Joystick Gremlin which is probably similar but the centre position is nothing ...i.e a 3way switch is Button1 - Nothing - Button2. so how can i assign acommand to Nothing ?

With 2.7 I thought the CRS button was fixed... At the moment I can bind a switch to rotate CCW or CW but cannot bind anything to centre it except for a keyboard key... the UI to assign just won't open. Anyway...How am I supposed to bind this? I have 3 way switches (On-Off-On) but that will presumably not do if you need a positive to 'centre' or stop it rotating as it looks like the switch coming off does not stop the crs line from rotating... essentially unsuable even though CRS is a stapple function a pilot uses for near every mission... Is it working for someone?

Had some time flying tonight and except for low cloud layer dancing a bit (not massively) it was wow Also seems much smoother. Tried a test mission I have on Syria and I rarely dropped below 45fps so was much smoother than before for me (I was regularly dropping to 30-35). Now they did improve performance of Syria in this release but flew PG too on MP session and was really silky too. Ground texture/relief and sharpness also much better. Lighting is tons better too on cockpit and ground.

Seems talking about the updater so would be about DCS modules, not mods

I also tend to stay away from mods... things break down enough without them so prefer spending time flying than debugging something that broke But I still have OVGME there and do use a few mods that do meaningfully enhance the game. This mod is not necessary but does make the ground objects a lot more visible so quite useful for A/G stuff

Yep I went through the all Bios /VBIOS/Driver etc. Indeed I locked mine to 45fps which is plenty but hoping to get rid of these spots where buildings are flying past in a stutter or micro glitches or Syria map fps getting pretty low from time to time. For now checking your experiments see if it will give something meaningful (was hoping for 10% improvement area).

So is that just the 3 flags mentioned above (sorry bit confused). Does not feel like it is doing much

Ok thia thread is getting confusing and is already pretty long. @Sr. or @zildac would you not have the 1st post kept up to date with the latest install + settings (I like the preset.ini as I can't access the GUI in DCS) so that people know what is the current download / files to have and suggested settings? So far I tried the basic version with some sharpening but fail to be impressed... DCS has a haze for a reason...it kinda looks like that in real life

Thks @Sr. Tried your 1st one... for me Nevada is all red with that and camouflage of aircrafts are all wrong colours. Not sure if me specific of HMD specific (got G2) Work. Connect to my office PC/network from home. Not an option to uninstall

Ok ... lucky google search got me on a trail... Seems citrix is interfering with reshade keybinds... So I only have Printscreen as available key... but menu will appear but be frozen so cannot modify anything in it anyway...good news is binding End to printscreen allows to toggle on off the reshading... Now can you post me you Reshadepreset.ini parameters so I can ammend mine and get the right effects plse?

Posting this in case someone had the same issue with reshade and managed to sort it. I used reshade when I was on track IR. Had a couple of versions installed. then uninstalled then retried and one reinstall later I could not get the reshade GUI to appear in DCS. Would still get the message that Reshade was there and a key would pop up the GUI but it just would not. Moved on to VR and now I'd like to test out reshade on VR...still not getting any luck with getting the GUI to appear nor the shaders to take effect. I have repaired, reinstalled DCS, I 'in place' restored windows. No luck. Guess there is a hidden DLL somewhere that messes it up. If anyone made the same mess and fixed it plse do share MAYBE SOLVED: Seems citrix is interfering with Reshade keybinds (even if not loaded up)...Printscreen is an unaffected key...no sure if there are others and not sure if conflict is solvable. Anyway...can't use menu (frozen even using printscreen bind) but shaders will be effective nevertheless.

Arghh.... tried that (pretty labourious process!) but no...still damn nothing, nada, niet, nicht, rien gonna post something in case someone came across the same issue

Been interested to test this on my system... Not sure what happened with earlier installs of reshade but although when DCS loads up I can see on the mirror image that pressing Home should bring the GUI it does not and pressing end does nothing either.... frustration with windows again

Not only was it hung but windows literally crashed. Ctrl-Alt-Del would not even do anything. It worked ok when I went on the server on my own with no one else flying but every time I tried with others it crashed. Shaders were compiled from when I connected on my own and did not take that long to be honest.

Nope. even the IC version...crashes my entire windows session when going on server...have to hard reboot. Weird. Possibly might be conflicting with discord/teamspeak/slack... not sure but I'm off it now
