  1. Or you can get really good at guessing coordinates of the target and hope for the best.
  2. I am looking outside of Russia for the information. Due to EDs restrictions.
  3. The SMU is the MiG-29SM Upgrade by the Ukrainian Airforce. It is basically the MiG-29S that has been upgraded in nation to the multi-role specifications. It allows the Ukrainian MiG-29S to perform the multi-role light fighter role. Like the F-16 and F-18.
  4. I understand. I was just saying my biggest wish...
  5. I just want to be able to carry a mk20s under the inboard pylons. I don't understand why those... Which are bombs... Dumb bombs at that can't be fitted where you can mount other bombs of the same size?
  6. I turn on my defog system shortly after take off. It is part of my procedure for setting up the aircraft for combat.
  7. Which is why I am a huge fan of just putting out aircraft of the same era. An F-16 Block 50 vs a MiG-29a is like taking a F-22 vs a F-100 Super Sabre. It isn't even a close match. Now a F-16A vs the MiG-29A that is a realistic match. As they were both 1970-80s model fighters.
  8. I highly doubt we will get a newer MiG-29 model. Not any fault of ED but due to RU legal reasons.
  9. I am all for a 29k granted I can barely land the current 29. But the stronger landing gear would be nice.
  10. Another chance at a high fidelity module. 25SM. Honestly though I like the Su-25A it is a blast to fly.
  11. I want MIG-29SMU... that would be nice...
  12. Is your laser on when you fire it or are you accidentally turning your laser off after firing?
  13. The last part is true of most fighters.
  14. Good tests. But is there an issue with these numbers? I haven't had a real good chance to compare to any data I have on the 27 at home. And you are absolutely right about the forum editor.
  15. Fair enough. On a side note I do think all BVR missiles right now are acting odd. Not just fox-3s.
  16. I thought we were talking about the guy in the F-16? And I don't use a script but yet I can get bursts that close. I have chaff set to one button and flare to another on my FC3 aircraft.
  17. Script? LoL what?! You know every high fidelity module with countermeasures made from 1970-2010 all have programmable countermeasures.
  18. I would like to say it isn't just AMRAAMs. But all fox 3 missiles and even fox 1 missiles. I have had a AIM-7MH turn almost 60deg from target to go after chaff when I had a lock on the target the whole time. I have had the R-27ER and the 530D Super Matra go almost 70deg off target for chaff.
  19. Like every engagement the tactics used to survive will have to be flexible. If you have the luxury of keeping distance do it. If you don't you should know what your enemy is capable of. Don't underestimate the capability of their aircraft or the pilot. And lastly fight to your strengths not theirs. Force them to fight on your terms if able. These are the things I do in a Mirage to be successful against spamraam trucks. And it works even in other fox-1 aircraft like the Mig-29 and Su-27/33. I am sure you can use a variation of this for the Harrier but in close the Harrier is at a major disadvantage due to its lower energy state. I like the Harrier but the version we have is no fighter. That would be like strapping lipstick on a warthog and calling it your prom date.
  20. So doing some research on the Ukrainian MiG-29 and the upgrades to their fleet I have found they use the 29SM. And it recently was overhauled to allow it to use guided air to ground weapons like the K-29T and K-29 IR, along with TV and IR guided bombs. I would love to see a MiG-29SM in game. It would be a nice counter to the F-16C Block 50 as they are about the same age.
  21. True. But who has time for that? LoL
  22. The 15E is technically post 90. While it entered service in 1989 it didn't see action or until 1991. But I will let it go because we don't even have that yet.
  23. Of all of the aircraft from RAZBAM the Mirage 2000c has had the least issues. And it is by far the easiest to learn. Now I don't mean that as a knock on RAZBAM. Just the Mirage is one of the least technically demanding aircraft in the list. It is pretty cut and dry.
  24. I want the upgraded Ukrainian version of the 29. It is basically an A with the improved radar found on the later models.
  25. LoL yeah right up there next to the MiG-29s, F-15s, F-14s and rocket ship F-16s.
