Whatever you do mate, looking forward to it, THANK YOU

I enjoy the variety, like Helo's because we can park anywhere, meander up the streets etc and done some low level in Puma's and Wessex, not driving of course, but did get some manouvering in the Puma a couple of times. I agree that some dev somewhere will take on our favourite beastie fast or slow, so it's best to sit back and enjoy what we have, look forward to the next....and try to fly what we have, well.....that last bit's a problem for me lol

CH-53 is my choice, had some quality time with the crew's at RAF Mildenhall, MANY years back, never forget that afternoon, and it was armed to the teeth, best we had then was guy on the door with an SLR in a Puma or Wessex LOL

I don’t expect by Christmas as it’s been so quiet, it’ll be when it will be. The Harrier has had a chunk of my wallet alongside another pre-purchase that sprang up last week, so that’s me done.

Early access is fine with me, lots of things to learn, and upgrade come along, just like in the real world, Wish I was a hot shot that can remember all the systems in all the aircraft I have, but I need to get the manual out every so often. Quite happy thank you

Any ideas of an exact Date of when she goes Live

Ok starting to look forward to Wednesday, I'm off Friday  -
Prowler 111, that's great, I would agree with back burner project on the 2 seater anything, I appreciate that it's niche, and the majority want fast movers, I'm waiting for the Tucano too, my last flight was an RAF Tucano, but I'm happy that your even considering it. Thank you
-
Rats I was hoping for Tommorrow night, but Wednesday's good....ish

Fume, Steam, dead jealous, HAPPY THANKSGIVING, I'm about 20 miles from Newcastle Airport in Northern England, get lots of Airbus 319, Boeing 737 and the odd AN-12, but all above 3000ft, no fast jets over our houses...worse luck. Used to get lots of USAF when down south at RAF Honington, transiting to Mildenhall. Enjoy the jet, yes hope it's a good omen, looking forward to Friday

I'm with Jester986, I just happen to like the 2 seaters, like a 2 seat F-18 might happen if we get a growler, but the RAF/Marines never did much with the 2 seater until it went to Boscombe Down for experimental. I still have patience for the Hawk though, this making plane software is a hard business that's all.

Thanks HYENA, that’s a more impressive way to test the NVG WAR, that sound really scary, so must try it some time. I found night flying in game rally good if you can Chet the house light off, it is just moe immersive, Just never tried it with NVGs Thank you Gents
-
In the early NVG's, (70's-80's) the Puma pilots would night fly with one pilot with NVG's and the other safety pilot without. There was depth of field problem with them. We tried them by walking down a track where we could see the trees, they looked about 20ft away, then you walked straight into it. Has that been fixed nowadays?

Looks like a lot of us have this addiction problem, but I consider the planes a bargain, look at all the goodies, and bangs for buck, you could pay just a bit less for some FSX aircraft and still not get to blow anything up

We are worse thank kids before Christmas......great isn't it. -
The Navy Harrier was a different bird, I'd be surprised that despite it getting a good kill ratio when deployed (being diplomatic here ok) it proved the Harrier could be a fighter, and the GR7 was it's descendant. The early RAF ones, despite being with 1(F) Sqn, did not have an air to air radar, the RN did that. Once again I would like to see a two seater but understand that DCS may not allow it as it would not have a full rear cockpit, I just like the look of the 2 seaters (and I managed to get in one for a flight, but while I was getting dressed in all the gear, the plane had a bird strike.....strike my flight. sigh) I would also like a 2 seater Hornet. No big deal if it never happens but I just like them

No one does them better, looking forward to it, and I second that proposal, Thank you.

For Joey45, Are you going to do the Raspberry Ripple on this one, or can you do an RAF Green skin for us?
-
90 seconds, that’ll focus the attention a bit, I’ll not be forgetting that one!

Yes finding Gazelle easier to control, can still get PIO but have to be more ham fisted, whereas previously almost any joystick input started it. Hotas warthog, with Throttle reversed for rotor brake & collective Thanks for update
-
That's better, I found it really hard work so far, using Hotas Warthog, just a touch of stick and it was into a series of PIO's. All the blurb so far has been do not adjust your stick. Just about to do that and along comes this update, I was actually able to get it stable enough to fire and hit the target (moving landrover) Thank you

Glad your young lady can operate the TDC etc, took me ages, I can't for some reason see the skins, Bet one day this young lady will be at the real Nellis if she want's to. It's a sim, if family want to join in I think that's great.

:thumbup:Brilliant, Good Luck

I would have liked the Ch53, other articles advise that the U.S. Attack helo’s would end up in legal stuff, nothing personal but some choices are not mass market types, nice but DCS need to appeal worldwide. Uh60 serves in many places. Just a thought, would any older helo’s such as the S55 be considered. In many sub types it flew from 1955 to 199x, the RAF had the Whirlwind and Wessex. About every air or navy had them as rescue birds. Just a thought

Great news, looks marevellous
