Fella's lets be honest, if you pass the selection/Induction/IOT/Flight Training...to fighter pilot standard and it takes 5 years of your life....the RAF-USAF- Spanish Navy Indian Navy, MAY let you fly a Harrier. You fly that till you leave/get a deskjob/become the head of the Air Force/Navy. WE, get to fly the lot, so we CANNOT be brilliant at all of them. (Although UTUBE humbles me any day) So I pay I strap into it, sort of, and go have a blast...and if I bend it I don't end up court martialled (Should have been at some point in my career but that's different). Enjoy

Yep I always have hope on Fridays & take the lack of news as an indication of how busy they are in the run up to the release

I just did some formation with Air Force one, really enjoyed that - brilliant mod THANK YOU

Thank you Joey45, to the rescue again. I know it would incorrect because we had different gizmos on board, but it's still a harrier.

Thats really great, My dad was a commando, Sword beach, did some time with the Glider Pilot regiment, but I imagine that would have been Horsa's, be nice to have one of those too, but the Hadrian looks cool

Had he pleasure of watching/listening to a new pilot in a rebuilt Hurricane, getting his first solo, all went well until he had to wait for a slingsby firely to land first,at the threshold he cut the engine, Commenting that it was really hot and about to boil, The very senior and respected airshow pilot, Spitfire, Hurricane and most other things ww2 insturctor, who was monitoring pointed out they would be down in a minute, restart and get it into the wind and into the air soonest, It's a merlin, they always look about to boil. Sure enough, with a little coaxing it restarted, looked boiling and tore off down the runway, took the wrong turn causing ATC to scatter the fireflys and then a relieved voice, 'It's cooled down a lot now" 'All's well then , says the duty ATC who had aged about 20 years in 5 mins. The flight went well, it came back in one piece, the pilot had to buy a LOT of beers and it started to boil over again while taxi-ing in. Pleasure to watch.

Looks like we need to practice our ejection drills then, there were a few piled in on finals at RAF Wittering and that was not even hovering

How to Correctly Install Your Mods
flyingscotsman replied to uboats's topic in How To Mod for DCS World
No, it does not appear. I have the folders laid out, all the way to 'Aircraft' in each saved game, but the aircraft folders do not appear. Is it because I have to specify it is on C:\ drive? I just think I've not got the start of it right -

How to Correctly Install Your Mods

Hi UBoats, Finally got JSGM working. Then found our article about putting mods into saved games So I had it working, in _MODS I had a folder ‘stinger’ Mods/Aircraft/FA-18C, it worked fine. Have tried to move it to saved games ‘stinger’ Users/NAME/Saved Games/DCS/Mods/Aircraft/FA-18C. I can copy and paste the FA-18C to that folder and the game works But using the last string above, nothing appears in the aircraft folder in the saved games The _MODS is in C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS WORLD\ Any idea what I am doing wrong? No rush, just puzzled, got it working in one location, but cannot get JSGME to put the files in the other location -
Thoroughly enjoyable video, I almost clapped when you stopped, the laughed like a drain when you panned back for the chute, Brilliant, thanks

Advice please. Have 'repaired' version of DCS 1.5.6 installed JSGME as per instrucitions, if found add on's and took snapshot, in about 10 mins. Have another copy of JSGME on E:\ Drive pointing to C:\Program Files\DCS World 2 OpenAlpha, no mention of add on's and ran all evening stuck at 3/4 way's. I took out the Nevada.surface 5, as suggested further back in the post, still getting 3/4 the way there. Any advice appreciated

DCS: Me 262 Discussion (Development on hold currently)
flyingscotsman replied to NineLine's topic in Western Europe 1944-1945
It would have given the allies problems, but the end would have been the same. Fighting a war on 2 front as your resources shrink and your foe's capabilities increase gets the allies to a win. IMHO -
Have some of them charging up and down the grass areas alongside the aircraft. Have just tried to put the a/c related vehicles next to a couple of Tornado's and try to make Sochi look RAF Like.
-
So the stations take USMC PAYPAL CARDS? Visa....RAF aircraft, cash only! Remember each country bills for it's fuel.
-
Were they not offically called Stalwarts? Only remember that as some over enthusiastic person mentioned that xxx person was a stalwart of the Unit......and of course we said they looked nothing like a 6 wheeled vehicle!
-
Veao are making a Typhoon, but that's some way off. RAF ranges are not standard, but you could use Mission Editer to modify a coastal area in the Caucuses map, plenty beach space up near the Crimea area.

That's just what I asked for, mind reader, thank you:thumbup:
