  1. I cannot make it work. I have tried with the updated files and also with the "old" ones. Any of you have this working on the actual stable version? Thanks
  2. That is a very beautiful livery
  3. I love the Hercules
  4. Latest stable only.
  5. The actual forum format is the ugliest I have seen for a long time. It really looks old and cold. I was surely expecting something more aesthetically pleasant to read. :(
  6. +1
  7. :) Bought it !
  8. Thanks for sharing
  9. From what I see on most RL videos, carrier lights are fairly attenuated and dimed and you do not see them like if you are landing in Los Angeles International. I have never approached a carrier in real life but I have done hundreds of approaches in helicopter to comercial vesels and in many cases we had to ask then to dim their lights because in the black night a too much lighted ship surrounded by an absolute black could generate optical illusions or vertigo. Also the factor that if you have to go-around (bolter) this would place you from a highly ligted area together with the go around acceleration into the very deep black. Not a good combination. You want the runway lighted so you can clearly see it at 1 mile and not too much bright. This is what I found on some RL videos DCS still needs a bit more "bright light" on deck but just a very little more in my oppinion. Also bear in mind that how we do see the light here may have much to do with our own Gamma settings
  10. That would be my most desired WWII scenario !!!
  11. We are using the SC in our squadron operations but while it brings a tone of nice things and improvements we are not happy with the actual ATC /MARSHALL/LSO. Previously we were using Alerax script and while quite demanding and sometimes simply stopped working, that script managed the aircraft flow nicely moving aircraft out of the stack in a good flow and managing stack altitiudes properly. Now there is no such marshall control and the actual script will keep all aircraft in the stack asl long as the previous aircarft has not fully landed. In a package that just returns from a combat sortie and that is not in excedance of fuel that is not acceptable. The ATC should manage the marshall stack better, same as the Wave off traffic. Even with good pilots, no WO or bolters, it takes ages to recover 10 planes coming from a sortie. We do not simply have the fuel to make orbits as it is designed now. I wonder if some of the naval oriented squadrons have found a solution for this. We are considering going back to the Alerax script if this is not sorted out.
  12. My squadron and I play regularly with the Soper Carrier in multiplayer in the release and we have experienced no performance problems. It actually works better than the Stennins if you place a large number of static aircraft and vehicles on deck. I run DCS to its max graphic settings. From your specs the only thing that comes to my mind is that your graphic card maybe your bottleneck. The SC as as early access has a zillion of things to fix but I would not say that performance optimization would be a top priority. Persian Gulf, Super Carrier and Hornets surely need an up to date rig to run then smothly but this is part of the software evolution. Look for a different configuration settings for your rig. There are a lot of post on this forum with great tips to optimize your performance in DCS.
  13. Press the Master Caution button. That would remove some but „not all“ of the messages and reorganize the message line making it a bit mor readable. Advisory messages such engaged autopilot modes cannot be removed and the „blank line“ even with no caution messages cannot be removed. I think there are some MOds that address this issue but the fact is that as you can see in the pic above, the advisory and caution messages are displayed on the left DDI rendering that screen not „optimal“ for the use of some formats such SA page
  14. Plenty of great ideas. All of them better than the actual Radio Menu option. Please ED fix this ASAP.
  15. Yes please allow us to remove that contraption and allow us mission designers to decide if this is allowed or not in a mission such we can do with other options like external views.......
  16. I have finally make managed to make it work. I guess the problem was on my side, either by unproper installation or corrupted dowloaded file. In any case now works as intended! Thanks
  17. This is an awesome mod and one of the highest quality freeware ship in DCS World.:thumbup: You can feel the ammount of love and attention to detail it has been given. I do really love it and we are currently using it in our naval multiplayer campains and missions. If you fly harriers or helicopters in naval missions you have to give it a try :pilotfly: Just awesome Thanks a lot!!!
  18. Thanks for the update Chromium. I will wait eagerly. In my squadron we do plan to start our "persistent" campaing by September (By persistent I mean that without DAWS I have to manually edit each scenario to give some kind of persistence feeling) so when thus capability becomes available it will be most welcomed. Our campaing is planed to last 5 to 6 months so hopefully this will be readyat some point. Thanks for the update.
  19. I cannot manage to make this work. I have the buttons and I manage to get a message when I move a country from one side to neutral, however when I try to add a new country to a coallition, there is no message and the interface does not close and although by saving the mision and exiting the ME and launching the scenario again shows the updated list of countries, I cannot add any vehicle for the new moved country. Any help would be most appreciated.
  20. Any update with this one? DAWS was a friendly user way to keep a persistent campaing and I would love to have an updated version of it. Thanks!!
  21. Thanks. I did it this way!
  22. I just had the same problem today but this thread helped me to fix it. Thanks
  23. I am interested in this posibility of removing spectators F10 map. Not players but spectators. Have anyone figured out how to do so? Thanks
  24. Would be even nicer if you name the title of your post as a question instead using the same title that someone posting a new mod would use. Slighlty misleading.
  25. Hi guys I would really appreciate if someone can help me with this. I have been the last couple of days reading all available doucments about A2A Dispatcher, I have seen the really nice tutorials available, I understand the funcionalities and parameters to be used however I fail to understand where to find the base luas where to write such parameters. I have downloaded several demo misions and each uses a different set of luas with different names. I need to make a cold war scenario in the persian gulf and I also need to know the names the script uses for each airbase on this map. Is there any "master" Dispatcher A2A Dispatcher lua that I can download and write ther the particular parameters of my mision? The demo mission available in GitHub are for Caucasus, Nevada and Normandy. I do not have available time to learn to use the LDT, I am pretty short on thime and I was counting to use the old GCI/CAP script that required only some customization. While the capabilities of MOOSE are awesome, I do simply have not the time to learn scriptint full lua with the LDT the next month. If someone can provide a lua based on the AI A2A dispatcher in the Persian Gulf just for Red Side, Cold War, and if possible a super simple miz associated with it I could populate the lua with my own parameters. Thank you very much in advance!!
