So that's what happened! I was wondering why it was saying I didn't have access to the post. And I agree, why delete that? Amongst the shit posts were a few good ideas and lots of good historical information!

Strangely, "Overcast and Rain 3" could be described this way!

Your initial question was also very pathetic, if you had provided some details instead of just saying "doesn't work", you would have gotten better results. Poor English is no excuse for rudeness. I think this is extremely stupid of ED. I only play DCS for the Rafale, but I still bought maps, etc. If they take this away I will just play a different flight simulator, there will be nothing drawing me to DCS anymore.

I finally had a chance to try this. The next time CCR asks me, have you ever seen the rain, I will say YES! Thanks Mister Taz! Another great one!

Same, always the first mod I install after each update. And the ghosting thing is to do with the core game, I see it with no mods. I love this mod Mustang, I hope you are able to keep it up! Thanks!

Hi Everyone, I was just wondering if anybody uses the Rafale to play Liberation? I am doing it now by creating missions with Liberation for the F18, and then after clicking Take Off, I open the mission in the editor and replace the F18 with the Rafale. On this website... https://github.com/dcs-liberation/dcs_liberation/wiki/Modded-Aircraft-Support ...it says you can create a .py file that will have all the necessary info to make the Rafale selectable from within Liberation. It seems pretty involved, so I thought I would ask if anyone has already created a .py file for the Rafale, and may be willing to share? Thanks!

JAS 39C Gripen Community Mod
FupDuck replied to whisky.actual's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
I just spent a few hours flying around in this plane. First of all, it is gorgeous! I love that it comes with so many liveries already! I spent most of the time so far just looking at it in exterior view mode! I'm glad to see that the reflections on the MFDs will get addressed, that was the first thing I noticed, it was very distracting and actually hits my framerate. I have a couple of questions: 1. It seems rather slow. Max speed at mil power is about 450 kn and at max afterburner it's about 550. That was level flight with no loadout, or even pylons (did I mention it looks gorgeous???). Is this speed intended? My limited googling tells me it has a top speed of close to 1500 kn in real life. 2. Is there a gas gauge somewhere? I got a warning at five hundred pounds, then a few seconds later I was a glider. It seems to be a thirsty girl! Fun end to this story: I ended up making a dead stick landing on a public road in my first ever Gripen flight! Anyways, great mod, I look forward to putting a lot of hours on the airframe!- 514 replies

Tried it out and I'm loving it! The purple horizon indicator is much better. One question I have: in the instructions, it says to turn on global cockpit illumination. I was just wondering why this is? I didn't have it on at first and I didn't really notice any difference when I turned it on. Thanks, and great work! I will be spending all Saturday in the Rafale 003!

VR Shaders mod for better VR experience

May I ask how you "mod out reflections"? Is there a file that can be edited for each plane? I thought that's what your mod was doing tbh. -

This is interesting. I've been using this mod for a while now and always assumed that when I used it to make the glass transparent, it was also getting rid of reflections. But it's true, in the Ka-50, I still see the reflections too. So is that the case? The mod makes the glass 100% transparent, but still leaves reflections? I didn't think so, because in my Spitfire and other planes, I don't see reflections. Only seems to happen in the Ka-50. Curious! Thanks for the link to the Ka-50 reflections mod, by the way, installing it now! ETA I just wanted to add, this mod is incredible. Gets me from 32 fps and stuttering to an almost solid 45! -

Hmm I don't think it said that in the OP when I posted. It seems it was updated afterwards. -

2.7.0.5659 Open Beta - 05.05.2021 - VR crashes when playing
FupDuck replied to john_e_alarcon's topic in Game Crash
I actually ended up rolling back to 5118. I just played two hours with zero crashes. -
Well I finally figured this out and I thought I would share the solution here in case anyone else has the same problem. It turns out I could not lock on to ships because in the Gameplay menu, I had "game flight mode" and "game avionics mode" checked. When I unchecked these just now I was able to lock ships with no problem, both with radar and optical weapons. Yay! Can't wait to try out Rafale 003 when she's ready!

2.7.0.5659 Open Beta - 05.05.2021 - VR crashes when playing
FupDuck replied to john_e_alarcon's topic in Game Crash
Pretty much the exact same thing that's happening to me. Everything was fine on 5118 but since the latest update it's been crashing several times an hour. I disabled all mods and did a slow clean and repair, but it did not make a difference. -
Hi Lefuneste, I put the file in the Shaderfixes folder and activated the mod in OVGME so it was copied to the bin directory. I deactivated all other mods first just to be safe. I tried it first in the Ka-50 to make sure everything was properly installed. In the Ka-50, I was able to adjust the reflection of the cockpit from completely transparent (+0.000) to almost a mirror (+8.000). When I got in the Spitfire and tried the same method, it did not make any difference. +0.000 was the same as +8.000 in the cockpit reflections. So I think there is still something that is not quite right. If there's anything I can do to help you troubleshoot, please let me know. However, I know this is only one plane and you don't even own it, so I understand if you want to don't want to spend time on this. Thanks very much for your efforts so far, and the mod itself!
