  1. Somehow I don't believe Steam Servers are accessed so easily, they will have some sort of firewall and enrcyption algorithms, so this "car" was locked...
  2. So it is Steams fault, when they get hacked? Is ist your fault, when someone breaks into your house and steals your stuff? Is it your fault, when someone steals your car?
  3. @tusler: Do you play any SEGA titles (like Total War)? Got a Mail that their servers have been hacked, and people should change login data on all sites where they use the same login name and password...
  4. In Steam are many good ideas. A central place where you can buy and download games, play them, have a friendlist, an ingame overlay chat, a voice chat (never used it though, have TS3)... What I dislike is, that it is used more as a copy protection than a nice gaming community
  5. Many, thanks to HAWX and Hollywood ;) But it's not quite fair to criticise that in a sim...he should have wondered why the trails disappear so fast, and maybe inform about how the things really work..
  6. I didn't like the IGN review... but I never liked IGN reviews, because they are a little...over-critic... What he criticises about the manual maybe partly true, but all of the abbreviations are explained and the manual has a list of all abbreviations in the supplements. He criticises that the manual doesn't tell him, where to adjust the graphic options, well, they are located in options -> video...like in every other game. Where can he find the tutorials, well maybe under "Flight School" and ingame via Training... He criticises that self eplained things like tat are not explained in the manual... Then he criticises about Missile smoke trails, that disappear. Well, what does he think how a rocket motor works? Burning fuel all the time while in flight? Maybe the Sidewinder should get a space shuttle fuel tank attached then... I think the author thought he will test H.A.W.X. 3 or something like that... and not a hardcore study sim with its balance laid on realism
  7. Nice to see you are still alive, loved your video series "Al Rojo Vivo" from Falcon 4
  8. In 32 bit version I take off (tanking longer than normal to test the runway for that bad spot), turning left, testing around with the trim system, landing, taking off the other direction, trying to fly through an open hangar (which happened to be a not so open airport terminal :D), and landing again... I will upload a video to youtube. When I play my track in 64 bit version, it happens like you said. Going off the rwy and crashing into the grass
  9. Maybe some great differences between tracks recorded/played in 32 bit and 64 bit versions...
  10. No Nosewheel Crash here, took off in both directions... (1.1.0.8 x86) NoNosewheelCrash.trk
  11. Sadly only for germans, an "analysis" of winner songs of a show called "Deutschland sucht den Superstar", songs by Dieter Bohlen
  12. Tubular Bells <3 Songs in the video are "Secrets" and "Far Above The Clouds" from Mike Oldfield's Album "Tubular Bells III" Awesome guitar solos, and the power of the tubular bells..
  13. Mike Oldfield...
  14. MS Flight Simulator 3 F-117A Nighthawk Never managed to take off with the F-117, because I only had the keyboard layout for english keyboards, and i didn't find the Keys for throttle...
  15. Musician..hhmm..sort of.. I learn Guitar and at the moment I am very interested in some music theory, to maybe write some music myself later...
  16. Wow, cant wait to get it! Looks like ArmA soldiers were taught how to swim finally :D
  17. AFAIK it's a feature of the F-16 Flicht Control Computer. It provides a more smooth control while refueling or when gears are down for landing
  18. Maybe because of the crab and sideslip. You need more power to compensate for the crosswind. When you do the sideslip, that excess power generates forward thrust, making the plane come in faster..
  19. Ah, yes of course. That's what I wanted to say actually, but while writing, I turned it around .. Yes it is :) But note that the tracks are not a video or such a thing, they are more a record of your inputs, that will be re-done when replaying it. That's why some replays end in the airplane crashing into the ground, after a patch with edited flightmodel. Watch some of the Ka-50 trick flight replays in Black Shark 1.02, then you know what I mean ;)
  20. This is the 5th LLTM now..that I wanted to visit, but wasn't able. And I live not far away from Ahaus. Well, maybe next year..
  21. Turbulences are not only affected by wind and wind direction. Turbulences are airflows in the up or down direction. Mainly they are produced by clouds, especially cumulus clouds, where the air is flowing upwards. Outside the cloud the air is flowing downwards. I think thermal effects also play a role. Don't know how well this is modeled in the sim, but could explain your turbulences while having nearly no wind.
  22. Use CCIP and aim a bit ahead the target
  23. Stupid question...you did turn on NWS while rolling out on the runway at under 80 mph?
