  2. I had this issue with my old rig until late October when i built a new one. I was using a old GTX 1080ti with VR, now with the new rig i never had the issue again. My though at the time was that the GPU was years old and getting maxed out. I searched a lot about the issue and never find an focused answer.

  5. Hi, A few years ago i posted about this title but as the community grew i wanted to hear what are people thoughts/different point of view in 2025 so i created this new topic. I wish we had functional AI E-8 JSTARS, like the AI AWACS, it brings me good memories of Jane´s F/A-18. I think that it would be a good asset for mud hunting missions besides JTAC. What´s your thoughts? Thank you all in advance, F.
  6. Can´t fly any mission without my airbases "feeling" alive. I spent hours, days, months, placing objects and recreating my templates, and this question it´s something that i´ve been thinking since Dynamic Campaign was announced.
  7. Hi all, I use my AFB´s crowded with statics and objects to give them some life, and my carrier deck is populated. My question is, will we be able to use statics and objects on our airbases with the Dynamic Campaign? like, won´t they be erased by the next mission for example? Thank you, Bruno.
  8. One of my deck configs has CAT 2 blocked (only with Hornets) and i placed statics in a way that the aircraft take off only from CAT 1, 3 and 4. No issues for me. I´m not at home so i can´t post the pic of my deck so you can take ideas or copy the config so you can recreate it. Later when i arrive home i can post the pic here. Never tried with Tomcats or E-2C, probably the issue is the wing span as Nealius mentioned.
  9. I came here to help you and ended you helping me. Thank you for the heads up. Going to apply it to my custom cockpit liveries from now on and see if it works that way with the custom cockpits. If not i revert to my previous way of adding to the custom airframe liveries. Yes it should work, as you said something´s not right,
  10. Just go to DCS core folder, and see the folders path in the pic. If you don´t have the "kneeboard" folder inside the terrain folder of your choice you need to create one. If so, create the folder as in my pic because it´s case sensitive. Then you just need to copy your .PNG files to this folder in each Terrain folder. Just note that after each update you´ll need to copy those files again. I have a mods folder backup and after an update i just copy/paste the folder again (you can use OvGme but i didn´t want to complicate things much). Hope it didn´t sound confusing. But if you need further help please say so. Enjoy. PS: there are other methods of doing this, i usually use my personal kneeboard by mission specific (i open the .miz file and copy my .PNG´s directly to the mission).

  13. I´m not at home right now. But later in the day i will try to show you how to add kneeboard pages to your mission.
  14. Note: With wings folded just press Paddle switch (Nosewheel Steering) once and NWS HI is enabled; with wings unfolded you need to press and hold the Paddle to enable NSW HI.
  15. Just to be sure, delete the statics below the island and check if it works as intended. Leave feedback afterwards.
  16. No issues following the plane director and i never used F2 view to align in the catapult. I use visual references in the deck (besides the plane directors). But i fly in VR and that makes easier to align the airfirame to the catapult.
  17. I deploy the landing gear below 250 kts while on the break and deploy Flaps at 210 kts below. No issues on my side for a long time at these speeds.
  18. Tested now, with increased height, just to check and no issues on my side.
  19. "When we spawn in, its always on the rear elevator, not in the first slots....why is this?" Set the mission time of AI aircraft to 2 secs later than start of the mission, in that way the slots will be populated first with your flight. regarding the position after landing is trial and error. Didn´t tried yet landing after the update. In my deck config in the pic i have 3 AI aircraft launching and then my flight of 2. The airframes will be directed to cat 1, 3, and 4. You may take ideas from my layout. And sometimes i park static aircraft in the fantail to give a crowded deck feel and set a trigger to erase the statics after i launch so the landing area will be cleared.
  20. Since the new 3D pilot model with the kneeboard came out. Some default liveries already had included this line but somehow between updates some didn´t have the line. I only use user custom liveries so i had this issue in the first day that the new pilot was patched out.
  21. Add this line to the description.lua of the liverie of your choice: {"Pilot_F18_FP_Map", 0, "mfd3", true}; copy and paste exactly as is written, Paste it to the middle of the .lua file, and not at the most end of the file.

  23. I only delete the liveries that aircraft/helis i won´t use in my missions. You´ll save a lot GB, it´s worthy for you to check the size of the F-4E liverie folder as example. But i never delete Core Mods.
