Hi, ED thank you for your work but please make an option to disable the Visor Borders in VR (like the option to disable/enable the pilot, but please both options not tied to each other), the nose gap of the visor is unconfortable in VR in some headsets. Thank you in advance.

Distracting to say the least, your eyes start to focusing on the visor nose gap border, it´s unconfortable. The nose gap moves when you move your head in VR which makes even more difficult to ignore. Running Valve Index in my case.

I agree. And it degrade VR performance about 2ms of Frametime (at least in my case and other user, it might not seem a significant value but in some situations it is).

Indeed. The nose gap is distracting and not confortable in the Valve Index. The nose gap moves when i move my head and it makes it worse to ignore. I hope we get a solution for this, or, a way to disable at least the nose gap from showing. Thanks,

If you have no issues i don´t understand why you keep on commenting on people posts that have this issue with the new visor.

Indeed. The nose gap is worse to ignore than the visor borders. I can´t fly like this, it´s not confortable/functional. I know the intention was good and i was one of the users that requested this for a long time, and a lot of work was made but i think it was not the best idea for VR users. Anyone knows what .lua file to edit so i can remove the borders or at least hide the nose gap? Thank you. PS: Valve Index user and flying the Hornet and Viper.

Yes of course, everyone have different views or needs i agree. That´s why you can disable it on the fly (sometimes i need to check parts of the cockpit and i need to disable the 3D pilot for a few secs, mainly in the Viper cockpit). At the beginning i didnt use the 3D pilots because i didn´t like it, but now i can´t fly without it.

Well, speak for yourself. The 3D pilot is very useful in VR (and in 2D too), as example, when i need to check my checklists/charts i just look to my leg in the 3D pilot, also helps a lot in immersion. Flying in VR without a body in cockpit it´s not the same in terms of immersion.

The speed limit inside the bubble (50 nm) and Marshall Stack is 250 kts (unless ordered otherwise). As soon you depart the Marshall Stack you need to get at initial at 350 kts. It´s up to the aviator to get at the initial at 350 kts and 800 ft.

I use DCS since 2008 and never had this issue until some few patches back. Maybe 1 out 5, not a big deal because i restart DCS and goes fine but it would be nice to know why is happening now. I´m going to test with a polling of 1000hz as mentioned in a post earlier and 900 DPI.

Same here. Sometimes DCS starts normally but sometimes in need to restart it 2 times before the issue goes away (i´m using mouse polling of 500hz).

I use mainly PaintNet and sometimes GIMP.

I´m sorry for the late reply, look at the path of my Ovgme cockpit mod installation (you need to create those folders and then place it in your Ovgme Mods folder).

Well i would like, of course, to have it in Savedgames folder but it´s been like this since day one of the Viper, so, meanwhile i use Ovgme to change my cockpit liveries.

I know that´s why i started to use OVgme with the Viper cockpit liveries years ago. I just mentioned that so the users that can´t get it to work can have another way around so they can use the cockpit liverie. F.

I use Ovgme to enable/disable the F-16C cockpit liveries. So, i advise to use Ovgme, or similar, for enable the F-16C cockpit liveries. It works this way for me with no issues.

I use the Object Free Camera par with View Slow up/down/left/right bindings to emulate walking in VR. I use also the Speed up/Speed Down binding to slow down the movement while "walking" around the aircraft. Sometimes i place myself inside a vehicle and go to the ramp by bus using the Object Free Camera. I do my walkaround in VR before every flight, having this feature in core DCS would be most welcome for me! Regards, F.
