  1. Its a caster wheel so there is some natural centering if going farward. Like above, the effects of doing such things aren't as bothersome as IRL as everything is perfectly balanced out. There is a dampener modeled, but its never going to fit everyone like with the stick and things like extension/no extension, curves are going to be your biggest friend.
  2. Yeah….holding the paddle removes all centering hydraulic pressure from the nose wheel. Its definitely NOT what you are ‘supposed’ to do.
  3. TF radar was turned on.
  4. Yes, that’s actually what I did last night. That worked. Its a windows limitation of where it allows the mouse curser to move inside the display limits. I think I might have a work around if the NVIDIA control panel allows me to set a display group and give them really huge bezels and allows the mouse curser to pass along the bezels. I havent tried it yet, but I know it used to be a thing back when I had triple monitors and eyefinity years ago. Its a long shot, but that might work. Otherwise yeah, I might just be stuck moving displays to certain positions to allow the mouse curser to move there. The other option might be seeing if the UI allows hand controller use in the UI, been years since I have messed with that. I’ve git some ideas, just need some time to dedicate to playing with it.
  5. Appreciate the help, but this one did not address the issue for me with my setup. For whatever reason, on my setup, it does not allow the mouse to travel down far enough to click in the lower right corner. It's not that it goes out of focus for me, it's that the render and the mouse cursor limits for whatever reason are different.
  6. Pod is going to get reloaded during rearming. More like a DCS-ism I would say. Pretty sure all modules do this?
  7. TOF of last weapon release. Last weapon equals closer to target/shorter flight time.
  8. For the time being, you’ll likely have better luck giving them a manual impact angle instead of letting the bomb decide, use a default, or whatever the bomb does when you don’t tell it what to use.
  9. Guiding a bomb apparently works beyond the old setting, but the ranging number on the MPD is still relegated to the 8. Whatever range.
  10. IIRC, yes, once it sees the new spot, that now becomes the new target. If you cease the lase, it continues to that same spot. Don’t take that as gospel, but that’s how I remember it. The bomb necessarily always see the new spot though as it has ai seek FOV you need to abide by.
  11. I have seen this when trying to do ‘xfer all’ before and has been reported. Beyond that, could certainly be happening elsewhere. But yeah, a track would be helpful as there is a lot of ways it could be broken.
  12. Answer is certainly ‘it depends’. Beyond that, simple things like squishing a big area into a small display screen creates easy opportunities for error. Couple that together, very easy to not score hits on small targets. Even more so when you dont really have any proximity effects in DCS. Asking for direct hits on targets with that method repeatedly is setting a bar a lot higher than it should be.
  13. Coords vs designation and altitude errors. What you are describing would be expected outcomes when trying to hit small things with a radar like that.
  14. The TGP is not tied to the undesignation. You need to take command of the pod and tell it to go to snowplow/boresight in HUD, etc.
  15. Like 10 threads down from this one.
  16. Calculated loft cues are not in beta yet. Everything that folks are doing to loft is just a crude method of using a climbing angle and the traditional release cue. The ESL will give you a loaded pull cue and will be more 'proper' for lofting.
  17. I’ll give it a look sometime soon. Thanks for sharing that!
  18. Knew a few back seaters that had them many many moons ago in the -15 world. A few of them also would come back with busted nose bridges from them too. After a while, I saw none of them being used. Have heard they still do exist in the wild, but dunno how many might actually use them. Likely not many.
  19. I think it was a core DCS change a few patches back. Think it’ll still auto-tune? Just have to use actual radio selection though.
  20. Yep. Reported on the forums already.
  21. It is self-centering, and force sensing in the real bird. As above, the function is correct.
  22. You are guns. You need to be in MRM or SRM.
  23. There’s nothing to ‘fix’. It allows for well over the ‘structural’ limit before causing any permanent damage.

    F-15 ADF

    Correct, no ADF.
  25. It can be used, it’s just not going to be as point and shoot as people want it to be. Positional/altitude errors are going to be a thing unless people are through on their mission planning, etc. It has its limits on both its accuracy depending on how its used but also just in the ability to be able to accurately place the cursors exactly where needed. I feel like people’s issues will stem more from user errors than anything as they try to do things with it for which it was not intended.
