Cuervo thanks so much . I went into the description lua file and deleted the fuel tank lines. It works perfectly now. Thank you!
-
Thanks Cuervo. I’ll give it a try and see if that works.

Thanks so much for your time Flappie . I tried deleting the folder and running the DCS repair. That did not work, so it must be one of the mods - all of which I installed manually .

Thanks. The log file is attached. dcs.log

Thanks for the help Flappie. I tried your suggestion, but it did not work. What is weird is the the textures of the external tanks on my jet are o.k.

Anyone know what is going on here, and how to fix it. I've tried DCS repair to no avail. Thanks in advance.

F-22A Raptor mod enhancement mod
MVS-Viper replied to Nightstorm's topic in Flyable/Drivable Mods for DCS World
Great job on the mod to all of you who have worked on it up to now. Hey quick question regarding navigation. How do you switch between different steerpoints, and which mfd or gauge shows you what steerpoint is currently selected. Thanks. -
I’m with you 100%. If they can just get the ATC to deconflict the runways, stack incoming aircraft, and allow for emergency landings - this would be a huge improvement over the existing ATC. This was a standard feature in Falcon 4.0 - which was released in 1998. All I’m saying is DCS has a very talented team of programmers. Surely they can make this happen for us. Thanks .

No offense taken Sirrah. I don’t read the forums in detail everyday, but I do know what annoys me about the game. This is basic stuff that should have been addressed a long time ago IMO. Further, if people are complaining about it on a regular basis - then this is an issue that many users find frustrating and should probably be addressed.

When you request a picture. All you want is one response from AWACS. The request is give me a snap shot of the air threats right now. The problem is the AWACS will answer your request, but then it won't shut up. It will keep giving you constant updates throughout the rest of your flight. It is a pain in MP flights because you can't talk to your team mates while the AWACS is giving constant updates. On a related note, if you have a bogey locked up, and you request a DECLARE call from AWACS - most of the time you get nothing. No response. Please fix the AWACS AI. Thanks.

Please update the air traffic control AI at all airports. Also, allow for aircraft to declare an emergency when coming in for a landing. Clear the pattern and hold all AI aircraft takeoff’s until the plane declaring the emergency has landed.

If you guys ever update this map, please spend some time putting more detail around the Grand Canyon area of the map. Thanks.

I bought this on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XT1Z9TF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It makes the app think that you have two monitors. Works great.

Thanks for this new tool.

Afterburner detent swich F16
MVS-Viper replied to Falcon34200's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
By default, there is no key assigned to activate the Afterburner. But if you go into Options, Controls, F-16C Sim and scroll down to "Cycle Afterburner Detent - ON/OFF" and assign a key (I assigned the "Insert" key); then save the profile. You can start the game and once the engines are up and running just press the Insert key (or whatever key you have assigned), and push the throttle all the way up. You will now have access to the afterburner. -
The key you are looking for is the Designate Throttle Control or (Keyboard Enter). This will lock up the target you have in between the two TDC brackets.

Behaviour LSR ARM/OFF and MasterARM/OFF different
MVS-Viper replied to v2tec's topic in Controller Questions and Bugs
V2tec, I recently uploaded a Warthog F-16 file to the DCS user download section. I was able to map both switches to the throttle. Just download my file and copy what I did. I’m traveling ATM or I would send you a pic of the programming. Good luck. -
Someone created a log to address this issue on Gitlab here: https://gitlab.com/znixian/OpenOVR/-/issues/247 Please add to the list on the Gitlab web site if you are experiencing the same problem. Thanks.

Thanks for the help, but the file path listed in the error message does not exist, and there is no log file in the openComposite folder.

No, which log file?

A lot of us (without STEAM VR) use OpenComposite as a way to use VR Shaders in DCS. With the most recent update, the OpenComposite work around has stopped working. Has anyone found a way to get OpenComposite back up and running?
