  1. Thanks Tomcatter, I guess that points to it being a bug rather than my setup.
  2. I am working on a Huey mission that requires troops to be loaded and unloaded from the Huey. So far I have been unsuccessful in making this work. Can someone see if you spot my error or recommend the required steps if my setup if wrong? I have created a new infantry group, named it, gave them multiple way-points, set the last way-point up as "Embark to transport", enabled the task, set the vehicle group to UH-1 and set a proper radius for the pickup area. For the Huey I have set multiple way-points, set one of the way-points that meet the infantry group to "Embark" & enabled the task, selected the "On land" option and set a 15 sec time. Lastly I have selected the infantry group name and selected add. Additionally the Huey is setup as "transport" and the infantry group is setup as "transportable" When I land nothing happens and if I bring up the menu for airborne troops, the list is blank. I am not sure if I am making an error somewhere or if this function in 2.5.6 is currently bugged I can get this to work as is if the Huey is A.I but this is a player flown mission... Thanks for any help with this.
  3. PingPongChampeen, If you go back to page 27 here I posted a winter camo for the Huey. If that is not what you are looking for please post a picture here for reference. Thanks.
  4. Thanks Helles Belle, I'll checkout those files.
  5. Shes ready. You can download here. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/myfiles/
  6. Thanks Sunwukong. I did get your PM's. I have been saving the blade file as DXT1 without Alpha because when I try DXT3 or 5 the blades disappear. I'll check out your file now. Thanks for the help.
  7. I do, thanks. I removed the alpha layer and the blades returned but look excessively wide. I'm going to play with the different alpha layers and see if I can dial it in. I am wanting to have the top of the main rotors white and the bottom remain in black. Thanks for pointing me to "{"uh1_rotor_alfa", 0, "uh_1_blade", false};" line. You are the man.
  8. Thanks Sunwukong. When I do that the blades disappear while they are spinning and return at a lower rpm. I placed the unedited "uh_1_blade.dds" file into my skin folder and added {"uh1_rotor_alfa", 0, "uh_1_blade", false}; to the description.lua file. I'll keep messing around with it.
  9. My next Huey skin that is almost ready.
  10. When editing the color of the blades on the Huey they change back to default after they get spinning. Does anyone know the location of the file for the spinning blade textures? I'm having no luck so far...
  11. GOA, Per your request I have removed the logo from the nose on the CIA Black Helicopter. The update is available to re-download in the user files here. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3307714/
  12. I sent two more skins to the user files. The 1st is the FBI Black helicopter which is an all black version of the CIA black helicopter without any markings and the 2nd is the Arctic Special Operations helicopter.
  13. Thanks Dwail, yes I am trying to come up with a fix for the black interior in multiplayer.
  14. Thanks. The skin works as is for many people. I believe for this skin I may of omitted countries = {"USA"} so that the file will work with all countries. I'll check the file. I'll get an all black version without the CIA logos uploaded today.
  15. Goa, check this. Navigate to \bazar\liverier\uh-1. Verify you see the "C.I.A Black Helicopter" folder here. Verify the folder is not zipped Open the C.I.A Black Helicopter folder You should see 11 dds files. If you see another folder called C.I.A Black Helicopter that contains the dds files cut that folder out and place it in the liveries folder. If none of this works, verify the C.I.A Black Helicopter skin downloaded completely. (Verify file size, re-download if needed) Verify you are not installing the skin into stable DCS and opening open beta DCS (Or vice versa)
  16. It has not been released yet. When it is available it will be released to open beta first.
  17. Find it here: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3307852/
  18. New skin sent to the user files.
  19. That is in the instructions at the download link. To install the Black interior into the stable version: Navigate to C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\Textures and replace the "uh-1.zip" folder with the one found in the "Black interior" folder. To install the Black interior into the Open Beta version: Navigate to C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar\Textures and replace the "uh-1.zip" folder with the one found in the "Black interior" folder.
  20. For the stable version: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Bazar\Liveries\uh-1h For the Open Beta version: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Bazar\Liveries\uh-1h Make sure your skin folder is not in another folder that is inside of your livery's folder. Meaning DCS will look in the uh-1h folder to see your skin folders. If you click into your skin folder you should only see your dds files and a lua file, not another folder that contains your skin files.
  21. Rudel, Can the interior files be edited? I have no problem editing the exterior skin but placing the cockpit dds files into DXTBmp to get a bmp file does not work for me. It's acting like the files are unreadable.
