Hi. I think the sound is already great. Before the Mi-8 sounded much too unimpressive. I am still very much looking forward to further improvements. Good sound is so important and often so little appreciated.

It is not simple adopted. The sound of the Mi24 alone is worth flying it. There is someone at work who really deals with the subject.

Great update. My favorite is the new downwash effect. Especially with the helicopters. Very cool. The new ingame radios look extremely promising. SRS must be slowly retired. And I notice a lot of bugfixes.

I just noticed with great pleasure that ED has improved the Mi-8 sounds. Awesome. Now the feeling of piloting a big old bird is even more awesome. You guys have done a great job. Together with the new downwash effects, a whole new immersion feeling comes across.

Nur geraten bzw. vielmehr gehofft. Oft werden ja Dinge nicht mehr hier im Forum, sondern über Discord publiziert. Ich mag Discord halt nicht. Zu verschachtelt und aufgeblasen. (Nur meine Meinung - nicht gleich steinigen)

Ich traue mich ja gar nicht zu fragen, aber gibt es schon irgendwas Neues? Ist ein Release 2024 überhaupt denkbar?

The Hind is a great and imposing helicopter from the cold war. You will have a lot of fun with it, but it also requires some training time. For the beginning the following tips: Do not overload, too heavy does not like the Mi-24 at all. Do not fly too tight turns Hovering is possible, but not always useful Keep an eye on the VSR Fly more like an airplane Heli flying is really much more comfortable with rudder pedals. Ich drücke die Daumen. Auch mir. Und allen anderen die auf die BO-105 warten. Hoffe das sind gute Nachrichten. Wie ein Vogel der aufgepäppelt wurde und nun allein wieder fliegen kann. Aber Fragger hat ja nun wohl durch seine Arbeit Kontakte zur Razbam und HB. Das sind beides Spitzenteams. Wer weiß was sich daraus entwickelt hat. Und ich hatte mich schon 2024 mit dem PAH-1 hinter Fichten hovern gesehen.

The last statement was, first the helicopters. The Mi-24 is imminent, then the Ka-50 (I hope). Then the F-18 should get a new pilot and THEN it should be the F-16's turn. I hope I got it right that way. And if ED can arrange it, then a pilot for the A-10C would be due. I've been waiting longer for that than Duke Nukem Forever. Nevertheless: ED I love you!

The Mi-24 is finally getting its VR body. It already looks quite decent. ED should please copy the comrade and put it into the KA-50 quite quickly. Unfortunately, this "bad habit" of inserting the most important part of the whole thing, namely the pilot, only at the end, is gaining ground.

In the Missioneditor. When you select the Mi-8 unit there are on the right side some Tabs with Options. On the most right Tabs must be an option "don´t use Multicrew".

Just an idea, but since the Mi-8 supports multicrew not all stations can be manned by the pilot. That is then the task of the human crew. BUT you can set that the Mi-8 should not use multicrew. Then it should probably work again in single player to use the station again. But I can't check that right now. Hope it helps.

I can't really name it, but in VR the anti-collision light has a static glow around it. On the monitor, this strange glow is not visible. Repair was running before. I have attached a track.null Bug Huey ACL in VR.trk

I have tested the mod for our helicopter squadron and am thrilled. The squadron is also very taken. DCS itself offers little and sluggish new content for ground troops. So thanks for the great mod, it adds a lot to the atmosphere and immersion.

This would also be very nice for the mission editor. It's nice to use the ME in 2D and then be able to fly in VR. Then you don't have to restart DCS every time.

That would be really nice if the Hind would finally get this feature. I know some don't appreciate the work or even turn off the pilot because it is considered annoying. But for me and many others it is immensely important, because the immersion is dramatically increased. So to everyone who works on it and puts effort into it, "Your work is appreciated and gives me a lot of pleasure. Thanks to the people in charge in the team for that. Please keep it up, because the module is not complete without a pilot body."

DCS World with MT is fu**ing awesome. Getting a good perfomance boost in VR. Thank you ED.

Ich habe jetzt einige Wochen die 6900 XT und bin sehr zufrieden. Eigentlich Fan von Team Grün im GPU Bereich, aber der Preis hat es entschieden. Der Umstieg von SteamVR auf OpenXR hat mir keinen Leistungszuwachs beschert, ist aber angenehmer in der Handhabung. Was jetzt am dauernd am Limit ist, ist meine CPU. Ich könnte da auch nachrüsten, aber der Leistungszuwachs wäre nur gering. Gerade im Multiplayer und mit VR merkt man das Limit. Die GPU könnte noch, aber die CPU ist der Flaschenhals. ALSO ED...komm rüber mit der EDGE Engine. Es wird wirklich Zeit! Ich möchte dauerhaft 45 FPS in VR.

I would also very much welcome that. It should also be possible in real life. At least the CPG should have the possibility to fold down a visor with smoked glass to see the TADS better during the day.

You have chosen a helicopter again. I would have held any bet on a fixed wing. I would have lost. And I think that's great. And then also a transporter. GREAT! Very good decision. Good that the German Bundeswehr wants to get some CH-47 for the troops. Let's see who is faster. In any case, think of a German skin. Looking forward to more news.
