  1. Sedenion's 128 dx script, search for that.
  2. I'll have to look at Boeing Discount Program, they cover HP products, I got my TMWH from Dell on BDP for $375.00 a few years back.
  3. Could you show us a screen shot of your "Axis Tune" page. I put a hell of a curve on mine too. But it still kicks the tail up when I touch it too hard.
  4. I took it up to 20k and it works like before, was hoping for animation too. Thanks
  5. I guess this is a virtual control, I still don't see any animation of the Ram Air lever. Guess I'll watch the "MP. I put it on an axis on my Blackhog... Thanks Hoss
  6. I love blowing the crap out of things, so first a P-38, second an A-20G, third a Beaufighter, and either a Typhoon, or Tempest would be nice for ground pounding. Want in one hand, and you know what in the other is parr for the virtual course.
  7. Damn, I feel old compared to you guys....... 64 here, retired twice, USN in 1997, and Boeing June 2021. You would think I have all the time in the world to fly DCS/IL2. The spousal unit and youngest Great Granddaughter keep me busy. I was a USN Avionics tech AT, Intermediate Maintenance on DECM systems. Did seven WESTPAC's on three different Carriers, three on the Connie (79 - 82), two on the Enterprise with VA-94 (85 - 89), and two on the Lincoln (93 - 97). Sometimes I actually think I miss it.......... sometimes.... I've got all the Warbirds, F-86, Mig-15, M-2000, F/A-18, F-16, A-10C, FC3. I'm working on learning the Hornet right now. I like to blow stuff up more than shooting stuff down. J.M.W. AT1(AW/SW) USN ret. Cheers Hoss
  8. Gouge= the dope, the skinny..... it means the inside info........ military term for information on a subject.
  9. Go on YouTube and search, I imagine you are not the first to see from all the Horror stories I read on HOTAS/HOSAS/SIMPIT Discord channel. I'm sure someone on here can send you an invite. I'm on my notepad.
  10. Milling about in a military manner...... LOL...? Seven WESTPACS on three different boats, two were ships company. You sound like a black shoe, Quartermaster?..... or Bosun?
  11. Boosterdawg............... there are a boat load of youtube videos on how to set up the game, add this, delete that, plane specific tutorials, HOTAS setup, you name it and it's there. The Grim Reapers have what seems like a thousand videos on just about everything DCS. I would spend a good bit of time watching them. The training in the game is plane specific, so it won't tell you how to set up or use anything else. Grim Reapers Youtube channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCZuXjkFY00p1ga3UyCBbR2w Spudknocker has a good channel too. https://www.youtube.com/c/Spudknocker do the training missions in game for the modules you have purchased, you can also do a trial with planes you may be interested in for free for a short time. But the Youtube is indispensable for all the other situations you may encounter. You will get good information on these forums too....................... well , sometimes..... Hoss
  12. The link to the webpage is in the post. Look in the service section.
  13. Although I'd pay for a P-38 without hesitation, there is a place for it on the ETO maps. And actual opposition planes with breathers to fly against. Hoss
  14. Ditto, main reason I won't fly the Jug in low light missions. Hoss
  15. Instrumented Range: https://www.radartutorial.eu/01.basics/rb69.en.html The instrumented range is the maximum range of a radar in which echo signals can be displayed. It is not a measure of the actual range of the radar or its probability of detection. In most cases, the instrumented range is equal to the largest possible scale that can be set on the displays. An instrumented range is determined by construction based on three conditions: The actual maximum range of a radar depends once on the energetic limitation of the detection range and is subject to very many influences considered in the radar equation. An instrumented range should be larger than this energetic range so that all existing echo signals can be displayed. On the other hand, the temporal conditions must also fit, so that no ambiguities occur which could lead to misinterpretations. Echo signals received outside the pulse period would result in overreaches that are displayed as interference at an incorrect range. However, the instrumented range should also be less than or at most equal to the distance corresponding to the receiving time, because otherwise a second transmit pulse would be seen as a full circle on the displays. The instrumented range should therefore be technically dimensioned somewhat larger than these conditions specify. In addition, other conditions may also act. Maximum Unambiguous Range: https://www.radartutorial.eu/01.basics/Maximum Unambiguous Range.en.html The maximum unambiguous range (Rmax) is the longest range to which a transmitted pulse can travel out to and back again between consecutive transmitted pulses. In other words, Rmax is the maximum distance radar energy can travel round trip between pulses and still produce reliable information. The relationship between the PRF or their reciprocal value inter pulse period T (PRT) and Rmax determines the unambiguous range of the radar. Suppose the radar emits a pulse that strikes a target and returns to the radar in round trip time t: If t < T then the return signal arrives before the next pulse has been emitted. If t = T then the return signal arrives exactly when the next pulse has been emitted. If t > T then the return signal arrives after the next pulse has been emitted and there is an ambiguity, ie the radar cannot tell whether the return signal has come from the first or second pulse. The greater the pulse repetition frequency fp (in pulses per second), the shorter the pulse repetition time T (inter pulse period) and the shorter the maximum unambiguous range Rmax of the radar. Rmax must be larger than the Maximum Display Range (so-called: instrumented range).
  16. Get on Wolf Packs Discord channel, they have a channel to ask for help on what ever aircraft you want to fly. I can't send an invite, I'm not on my computer. Cheers Hoss
  17. It's been a bit but I have no gun-sight reticle in the Mosquito, wasn't there before the update and still not there, it should be there in instant missions at the start, but it's not. always had it in instant action missions now it's gone. I don't see anyone else saying they are missing it, so it looks like there is some problem on my end. All other WWII planes have theirs at mission start. Cheers Hoss
  18. Is everyone running game in Full Screen mode or no?............ I am not, I alt/tab out to look at TARGET Script and my Joy2Key settings when I'm setting up a new bird of doing final tweaks on it. I figured that was the reason for the black squares I was seeing, like ghosts of the Script window or the J2K window flashing through. Glad it's just not me.. Hoss
  19. Which trim? Roll, Pitch, Yaw, or all three? I have flown the Mustang since the last update and it all worked for me, the Jug's too............ Hoss
  20. I see a smaller (square) of black screen flash for a second or so, then it goes away. Doesn't do it on any other game or app.
  21. As far as I know, what you are talking about is only on the A-10's systems. I've got a TMWH, I use Sedenion's 128 button script, which incorperates the Auto Pilot modes (LASTE) and the Engage/Disengage button. I have got it mapped out so it works just like it does in the A-10. Took me about fifteen minutes to get it working, because there are other discrete signals needed from the EAC and RADAR Altimeter switches on the Throttle base, to make it work properly. RTWFM as some of my Navy instructors used to tell me LOL Good luck & Cheers Hoss
  22. That's the way I have it set up with TARGET script, works great.
