Mosquito's artificial horizon fails on shutdown
NineLine replied to ssn's topic in Bugs and Problems
Hi, thanks for the report, it is already reported that there are errors in the AH where there shouldn't be, it's not a Mossie issue but more of an issue in many modules. I will bump it internally but it is reported. thanks! -
We are getting close to releasing the next section, we will share it in the newsletter when it's released. Thanks.
-
I don't know, but nowhere does it tell you to do that. And it seems you can do the same thing in the real thing and mess up the rockets as you are required to make sure its reset to 1.
-
In the real manual: It suggests it needs to be reset at the end of the mission, and is called a counter in the manual. So it is not a selector at all and should not be used as such.
-
Please read what I said though, I see no indication that you are supposed to pick anything but 1 on the rocket counter, they are set to come off in a specific order, there is no reason to change that, that I can see. As I said though, maybe you guys have another document stating that the pilot can pick and choose what rocket to shot and why?
-
We are looking at what makes the most sense, right now the top thing would be at least a refresh texture option in the sim to allow changes to be loaded, but it all takes time and its about having someone free to work on it. I am still keeping on it though, and Management does recognize that its important to offer these features.

According to our manual and real manuals, you have two choices in firing the rockets. In singles and in Salvo. To fire rockets, perform the following steps: Turn the Rocket Counter dial to 1. Set the Bomb-Rocket Selector switch to ROCKETS. To nose-arm the rockets for delay upon impact, set the delay switch to DELAY. To fire rockets singly, set the Rocket Release Control switch to SINGLE and press the Bomb-Rocket Release button on the control stick once for each rocket. To fire all rockets in train (ripple), set the Rocket Release Control switch to AUTO and hold the Bomb-Rocket Release button depressed for approximately one second while the rockets are fired. I have not seen any reference to setting the counter to any other number than 1. Following the proper procedures in the manual, I do not see an issue here. If you have other references, I am happy to take a look, thanks!

Thanks both, I will check out today. It was never marked as reported or acknowledged so I don't think it was ever reported internally.
-
@too-coolI looked through your old posts and did not see the report you mentioned from 4 years ago, you did not describe what the bug is with rockets so please describe the bug or link the old report. I do not see this report on our internal system or on the forums from you. Thanks.

I appreciate the essence of this thread, but I am already seeing political replies I just can't approve to post, so I am going to lock it. I am sure there are plenty of more appropriate forums or subreddits for such subjects. Sorry.

Please note that a free and graphically improved Su-25 will be available later in 2025, and the Su-25 Flaming Cliffs will be delisted then. Release of the free Su-25 will not affect previous purchases of the Su-25 Flaming Cliffs version.

As far as I remember, it's been off by default as well.
-
It's not an excuse. It's the way it is. Thanks.

I talk to a pilot on a semi-regular basis, and he has not mentioned it being strong enough, rather, I think you would need haptic and FFB devices to really get the feel you are after.
-
We have addressed this a number of times now.
-
And there lies the issue: reading into what people say instead of just reading what people say. It makes it hard to keep this thread open because all we can do is hang tight and let the legal things do legal things, and hopefully, everyone lands on their feet.

Not at all, you can install the stand-alone and do the trials with the same DCS account. We cannot do the trial system on Steam. Also this is off-topic for this thread. I moved this to wishlist, the Su-25A is something we have been working on improving and decided to make it free. The F-15C all work is going into the FF version, it will not improve the FC version, we are not planning on giving that away right now as that is a high-value item for the FC pack. The Su-27 is also high value and we have not announced any changes or improvements to this model yet.
-
It is not free yet, and we cannot do refunds on Steam, you will need to contact them If you have over 2 hours on the game, either the Su-25 or other aircraft,t I do not think you can get a refund.
-
We already have shaking upon firing the gun, and on stall for example, what were you looking for exactly?
-
Yes, we are working on a very large update for the map which includes another entire portion. When we are happy with the look of it, we will release, I am hoping not too long from now.

I have hidden the OT, please like bug threads keep 1 topic per 1 wishlist thread. I will ask about HMD adjustments such as the Ka-50, thanks.
-
Sir, this is an F-35 thread. Please stay on topic, thanks.
