  1. Plus, the Zone List Window should close when clicking on the map outside of the window.
  2. And, the Radius value in the two fields needs to be the same value.
  3. The Zone List needs to sort on the Name column.
  4. Add a Fog Control option to fade out the fog, such as after a Time More. And include a Ramp Down Time to fade the fog from it's setting to zero. I'd like to see pre-dawn fog that clears up after a couple of hours.
  5. Bump. Enhance the Mission Editor for the triggered action 'Load Mission' by providing a checkbox for 'Restart This Mission'. If checked then the File: argument field would be greyed out for this action. This will help the mission designer in that they would not need to change the File: argument each time that the mission name is changed, such as for a revision change.
  6. Try using the Mouse Wheel instead. Click it down and you should get the Measuring Tool anytime.
  7. I am using the ME for the first time since these Unit Naming changes. This new approach is putting in Unit Names that are not appropriate. I create a new group from a Copy Paste. The 1st unit gets a Unit name from the previous group, which can be a different type like armor vs air defense; the next units in the group get this new naming convention of the (new) group name & '-x' where x is 1 through n; but 'x' is one less than the Unit Number; so Unit 2 is '-1'. But really, the Unit Name should revert back to the old method of like 'Unit #xxx' so we mission designers can use what we want when we want to without having to spend time correcting auto-generated names.

  9. An old mission threw a new error today - constant table overflow. I was cleaning up groups to get them out of the trees, and moved some units out from within airbase fences. I touched every road group to align them to the roads and touched every waypoint to make sure they were on the roads, especially ones on dual-lane highways. I changed some unit headings. I did not make any additions or deletions. I went to save the changes and got the above error - see the screenshot. After that I could not Open a mission - the ME hung up. The only way I could get the ME to Open a mission was to exit the game completely, start the ME, and create a NEW mission and Save it. Only them could I open any other mission.   11. Taking out the comma fixed all the of error popups! And, I went back to using Mission Start for the 28 events. Your help is really, really appreciated!
  12. Thanks Grimes, I appreciate you looking at it for me. I changed the offending Mission Start events to Once and added a Time More of 10 seconds, then to 100 seconds, but the same error showed. I changed the loading of Mist from a Mission Start to Once, Time More (90), but that did not help either. The latest version of the mission is attached. (BTW, there are 28 error notices coming up and 28 events that are using the function.) If you have any other ideas please let me know and I will try them. Do you still think this is a Mission Start bug? --- edit --> the reason I ask that last part is, should I add this to the DCS World's ME Bugs reports? Ira'dib 255P1e.zip

After this recent upgrade to DCS v2.5.6, I am getting a new error of - ...:4618: in function 'units in zones'... from a file called ~mis00002F51.lua, see the screenshot of the error The attached zip contains the screenshot, the mission, the .lua file. The ~mis00002F51.lua file is the same as the mist v4.3.74 that I load into the mission with a Do Script File action.   17. Which Viper is the Client? Which F-16 should I choose as a Player/Client in the Mission Editor? There are five choices - F-16A F-16A MLU F-16C bl.50 F-16C bl.52d F-16CM bl.50
  18. ME Load Mission Action - add a checkbox for "Reload This Mission". If checked then the 'FILE' argument and 'OPEN' selector are greyed out.
  19. I have Combined Arms and so use a Game Master or Tactical Commander slot.
  20. Try using the 'Russia' Editor Icon Style under Settings - Gameplay.

AI Task Push, Switch To Group Activate Argument Problem When switching multiple Trigger events from the Action of AI Task Push to the Action of Group Activate the 'group name' argument does not change. Subsequent switching keeps the 'group name' argument from the first Trigger. The argument buffer should be updated with the group name from each Trigger. A mission is attached with many triggers using AI Task Push, starting with Trigger Name 'Blue AGrp51 Start'. Go through these and switch the Action to Group Activate to see the behavior.   22. I run two instances on the same Hollo Pointe server, with 12 GB ram. Looking at Task Manager, that takes up 50-60% of the ram resources. I tried three instances but resources were running 70-90% and freezing the server up. It is an older i7-3770 with SSD.
  23. Nice improvement - the server instances are now named in their title bar and Task Manager. Thanks DCS!
  24. Steer Switch No Operation In Flight Plan Mode Flying in the Persian Gulf last night when in the middle of the mission I started up in a slot at Shiraz that had a landed and parked C-130 in it. After that three of us humans lost operation of our A-10C DMS switches to change the Steerpoint with the HUD as SOI. No Steer Switch will now change the steerpoints while in Flight Plan mode, but Steer inputs do work in Mission mode. Using the current Open Beta. dcs logs WC 20190602.zip
