  1. Do you have any mods to reduce the blurry text in the DDI's? If so, that might also be effecting the JHMCS lines.
  2. You could try reducing your Saturation Y in the axis control setting, it flattens the line out. Try 70 and work from there. It will affect all the slews but it's subtle.
  3. Excellent work Blbo. Thanks I'll add that to my OvJME mods.
  4. Search "Yardstick" and you'll get a bunch of hits in the forum with full expalinations. Briefly, you and your wingman set your TACAN 63 apart and you will get DME but not direction. So for example you set 29X and he sets 92X.
  5. Looks interesting. Do you really have to add the "Deck crew" mod? Hate adding unnecessary bloat.
  6. Hey Cap, Why would you take the airport locations off the map? Ships and targets for sure but airports would normally be on any map. Didn't know you could do that in the F10 map, learn something every day.
  7. Arg... I downloaded and printed an older one. Sigh. Thanks for pointing me to the right location Chuck. I'll do a quick comparison and mark it up. :book:
  8. Thanks for the reply WAGS. However, I'm still unclear on this point. A bullseye is a theater asset for all aircraft to reference, assigned by a commander (mission maker in ME in our case) and changed as required. It should have a separate entry apart from waypoints and markpoints. It shouldn't get muddled in with them, could be inadvertently changed with waypoint updates during flights etc. Early days yet, we'll see how it develops.
  9. Quick question, I keep seeing the Bullseye being referenced as a waypoint inferring it is part of your flight plan. Isn't the Bullseye set as it's own separate location apart from your flight plan waypoints or am I misunderstanding the term waypoint?
  10. Ah, you're using an axis with a middle detent. I just use the zoom in / out and normal keystrokes. Zoom normal always takes me back to my default view. Thanks for sharing your solution. If I go to an axis zoom I'll keep it in mind.

    A-10C vs L-39ZA

Neither, consider the Su-25T perhaps? Simple but effective. And it's free... bonus.
  12. Are you running any mods? When I set up my default view I do not start TrackIR, perhaps that may have something to do with it... shrug. Otherwise, for me RAlt+Num0 works fine for me.
  13. Hmmm... over 60 views and no joy. I guess I'm stuck unless RAZBAM can address it. Update: I was able to work around it by playing with the settings on my 2nd monitor which I was extracting the DDI's to.
  14. Hi Guys, searched quite a bit and found out how to enhance the font in MFCD's for the F-18C but no luck for the Harrier. I find that the letters around the displays faint and "spindly". Is there a tweak I can do to make the letters a bit more bold. The font size is fine just need some better definition. :helpsmilie:
  15. In that case you should consider using the "Stable" version of DCS instead of the "Open Beta". You will have a slower update tempo and less likely to have bugs.
  16. And when the F-16 comes out it certainly used the Shrike.
  17. Nice, looking forward to trying it out. Thanks for sharing, this has been great for training.
  18. Regarding the engine becoming faint, it may not be a bug. I believe it is done deliberately so that you can hear the instructor clearly.
  19. Should be able to set a Markpoint or TOO as you over fly the tgts. I haven't read that far ahead yet and may or may not be implemented.

    L mav

Probably just a troll post, don't expect an answer CheckGear.
  21. I agree it is a critical bug to fix, particularly for a A/C designed to for ground attack. Bump away...
  22. Disappointing that it will be put in based on the poll results but hey, that's how it goes. I like the idea of 2 maps, a realistic one to simulate operations during the conflict. And, a fantasy one for... well, whatever.
  23. Then just report the bug and not tell them how easy it is to fix. You have no idea.
  24. Mostly just a bit of flying around, setting up controls etc... Waiting for the A/G radar to be done. Unfortunately, based on recent news it maybe a long way off yet, sigh.
