  1. New to MP server hosting. I want to run 4 missions in 2.1 and, once the 4th mission is finished, start again at the first mission. I would have thought this can be done by selecting the loop icon (see red circle in attached screenshot), but my server simply stops after the fourth mission is complete. Is this feature not implemented yet, or am I doing something wrong? Thanks!
  2. +1, this is badly needed. If too costly in CPU time, an approximation as mentioned above is still MUCH better than nothing.
  3. The Skies over Normandy Allied and Luftwaffe fighters are battling it out over Normandy. This is a dynamic mission that can be played in SP and MP. Slots for Bf-109, FW-190, Spitfire and P-51 are available. This mission uses a custom script that will report sightings of aircraft near airfields or landmarks and mark the location of the spotter on the ground by smoke. Obtain air superiority over Normandy. Red side must also intercept blue B-17 bombers. Download here.
  4. Will we ever get a mirror for the Spitfire?
  5. Great, thanks!
  6. In terms of DCS lua scripting, what is country.id string for the Third Reich? I mean for Russia it is country.id.RUSSIA, for the UK it is country.id.UK, what is it for Nazi Germany?
  7. I've read it in this thread that the GPS unit also works in 1.5 (not 1.5 beta). I run 1.5, but there seems to be no way to install it in regular 1.5. Is it that you can only install it in 1.5 beta, and once installed it works in both versions? Or else how do I install it in regular 1.5, it doesn't show up in the module manager...
  8. If someone made a tutorial video for using the new GPS system, that would be awesome. Please post link to the tutorials here
  9. Are you saying that the GPS system also works already in the "standard" (i.e. non-beta) 1.5 version? Does it work for the Mi-8 also?
  10. Are you logge-in? For me the buy button appeared once I was loggin in.
  11. What maps will this work with. Only Georgia (I fly mostly Normandy at this point). Once it is released for 2.1 will it work with Normandy also?
  12. Hi EagleEye, Yes, the AI A10 and Su-25 have no weapons loaded on their hardpoints. Originally this mission was a pure CSAR mission, and the AI A10 and Su-25s were mainly cannon fodder to dynamically generate downed pilots. For now I kept them guns only, so that they won't kill too many of the targets meant primarily for helicopter flights. But I can definitely adjust that. Presently I also set these AI flights not to attack helos, since I found on open water transport helos will quickly fall prey to them... Also, using the homing beacons is not a must in the mission (they are bugged in MP anyway). The mission uses color coded smoke markers to mark various things, and because the battle field is relatively small many of them will be in visual range.
  13. Red and blue forces are battling over control of Normandy. The current front line extends roughly north to south, going through the town of Bayeux. Both sides rely heavily on helicopter forces, and to a more limited degree, on airpower. The air battle is largely fought by F-5E and Mig-21bis, with each side seeking air superiority. THIS MISSION CAN BE PLAYED IN SP AND MP. I HOPE PEOPLE WILL TEST FLY THIS MISSION IN SP OR EVEN BETTER IN MP (AS PVP MISSION) AND REPORT THEIR FEEDBACK AND BUG REPORTS HERE:thumbup: DOWNLOAD MISSION HERE. UH-1H flights on blue side and Mi-8MT flights on red side: You are tasked with CSAR [use F10 menu to see CSAR list]. Rescue a pilot by flying to its location (an infantry soldier is used as a stand-in) and land within 100 m. If pilot ejected over water, you won't see the stand-in (he is on the sea floor), use smoke marker (F10 menu) instead. If landing is not possible, e.g. in a heavily wooded area or over water, hover over downed pilot for 10s at 25 - 35 m AGL. Return the rescued pilots to an active MASH. You may also be called upon to rescue sailors from vessels in distress. Flights originating at Sainte-Croix-sur-mer (blue) or Le Molay (red) are also tasked with air assault. Load soldiers using the F7 menu. The objective is to capture enemy bases. This is done by eliminating all enemy forces from the base, and landing our troops there (use F7 to offload troops). You can request a heavily armed escort helicopter (F-10 menu) to assist you in this task, also your wingman is configured as a gunship. There are active and inactive MASHs in the mission. Drop rescued pilots/sailors at an active MASH. Flights originating from FARP London (blue) or FARP Otkrytka (red) can turn inactive MASHs into active ones by supplying them by sling load. SA342M flights on blue side and Ka-50 flights on red side: You are tasked with eliminating red armor at WP 1. After WP1 is clear of all enemy units, proceed to eliminate enemy units at WP 2. Use your wingman to assist you (blue side only). F-5E-3 flights on blue side and Mig-21bis flights on red side: Provide air cover for the CAS flights, and eliminate all enemy fighters in the area. AWACS Overlord is on 251 MHz AM (blue) or AWACS 999 is on 129.5 MHz AM (red). Expected red aircraft are Mig-21bis and Su-25s and F-5E-3s and A-10As for blue side. DOWNLOAD MISSION HERE.
  14. That's great, have been waiting for this feature a long time!
  15. Normandy CSAR You are tasked with combat search and rescue (CSAR) [use F10 menu to see CSAR task list]. Rescue downed pilots by flying to their location (an infantry soldier is used as a stand-in) and land within 100 m. If pilot ejected over water, you won't see the stand-in (he is on the sea floor). If landing is not possible, hover over downed pilot for 10s at 25 - 35 m AGL. Fly them back to the MASH camp. Downed pilots are dynamically generated from AI dogfights over Normandy. For best game-play switch sides mid-session and support the side that's losing the air battle at that time. Helo flights out of Le Molay (red) and Sainte-Croix-sur-Mer are also tasked with capturing enemy bases by eliminating all enemy units there, and dropping our own infantry at the base [use F7 menu to load and unload troops] Download here.
  16. Definitely a huge performance hog, this campaign. Think it's the large numbers of units active in the mission... If this could be curtailed, it would be a great campaign (as far as I can tell after flying one mission:)
  17. my guess is that this was added because people complained about the readability of HUD symbology. With darker glass it is more readable now. But I agree, probably overdone at the moment...
  18. Since this is a glaringly obvious issue, I am sure it has been brought up in other posts/threads, but I can't find them. If someone could point me to some relevant posts, I'd greatly appreciate it. The problem is (I am a VR user, not sure how it looks to non-VR users): the pilot head in the A10-C is far too much forward in the cockpit, if I look straight down I can see that my head position is right over the throttle, far forward of the seat. But my head should obviously be over my shoulders, that is over where my ass (excuse my language) would be located in my seat, i.e. at the back end of the seat. It has been like that for a long time, when will this ever get fixed?
  19. Since the latest 2.1.1 update my in-game F-10 map view is messed up (see attached screenshot, sorry it is a VR screenshot). Notice the airfields in the channel and other oddities. Anyone else noticed that?
  20. OK, thanks, that works. But the fact that it doesn't come up using the radio menu still means this is a bug, right?
  21. Since the latest 2.1.1 update I can't bring up the refuel/rearm radio menu. I click on this radio item, but the window that allows you to select fuel/weapons doesn't come up. I'm a VR user. Anybody else have this issue?
  22. Can anyone post the recommended settings for a 1070 used with VR goggles? That would be great:thumbup:
