IMO, there are just a few bittily things that could be improved with the textures. But, ya, get the bigger stuff out of the way. Maybe as you learn new techniques with the Mirage, you can apply them to the C-101. Just my cent and a half.
I think it's a DCS bug. I've experienced weird noises on the second flight with the C-101 and the M-2000C. Especially if I crashed in the first flight. Must be some kind of memory issue.
Ya, I like the official trailer but it does lack that certain 'je ne sais quoi'. Not bad for a first try. And I've actually watched a few times cause I like the music. :)
Ya, Spitfire was the hardest to learn to land. But once you figure out you have to be going under 100 mph, it isn't too bad. Then it's a bit of a dance with the wheel brakes to make sure you don't tip.
Huey is easy to land but difficult to land precisely. I do ok considering I don't have rudder pedals or an extended control stick.
Same with TV series. I have the King of Queens box set and there are some hilarious inconsistencies you notice if you watch episodes enough times. But I digress. :)
Ya, outside textures look good. Let me clarify about the cockpit textures. I don't get the impression those are meant to be close to the final textures. Looks like they have several more weeks of work to put into them.
Not trying to put anyone down. That's just my impression.
I can't see those being even close to the final textures. I understand the graphics artist was sick for several weeks and I'm sure the devs intend on greatly improving them.
