  1. You need to change the spec lines for the Tac Numbers to false
  2. If you get a prompt asking to login when you start DCS, push X and try flying the 21
  3. You don't need a license with a manufacturer, unless they directly contributed to your work.
  4. I was stationed at MCAS Beaufort during that crash in 2007. I helped provide security at the crash site. It was pretty nerve racking seeing the ejection seat and debris. Here's the crew going over protocols right after the crash...
  5. Do the other aircraft have heat blur? Nothing has changed on the external 3d model.
  6. You need to model the toilet payload too. :D
  7. That livery is actually not suppose to have a metal finish
  8. ac5, There is no description for a template. You must combine your textures after you have finished; then create your own lua. Simply use another livery's lua and change the file(s) name as needed.
  9. If you just want to change colors, cut out those areas and decrease saturation. Then use legacy brightness/contrast to adjust as necessary. Afterwards, apply a color.
  10. I'm actually working on this still. The spec map that's used now is just a quickly made-up one.
  11. Licensing is not needed if the aircrafts' company had no part in the projects' developments.
  12. We are aware of the issues gentlemen. Our programmers are working their butts off to rectify the issues caused by the 2.0.2 update. :joystick:
  13. lol come on! already? :D
  14. Sure you can; just look at one of the liveries in 1.5/2.0, and adjust his template as such.
  15. Because this is how I do it, and I have no issues making accurate colors when I do this. You're still new to this template, so take the time to know its layers. As Jack mention, there is a "The Goods" group for advanced artists. The artist can drop a 'normal' layer anywhere under the rivets, lines etc. I'm sorry it's not easy like the other devs.
  16. Sorry, no. The script that the information is in, is compiled.
  17. When you opened the PSDs for the very first time, were you asked to rasterize any layers? _____________________________________________________ "The Goods" is for those that want to make custom adjustments. If an artist just wants to add paint and decals, he/she must make that group layer invisible. And add their colors in the Livery group layer. The BG layers must be enabled for that. The Serbia livery serves as an example for layer properties to see the underlying BG properly. Now, if you want custom stuff, disable the BG layers. The user will have to adjust stuff on their own.
  18. A title of worthy distinction above and beyond the call of duty.
  19. I saw that T-90 on imagur a few weeks ago. Really nice
  20. You can't tell in your screenshots? Thee middle section on the texture is upside down.
  21. I'd like to mention that if changing the damage texture works, the artist will need to follow up with the volumetric damage texture that is associated with it.
  22. Looks good. but something is wrong with the middle fuselage lines and weathering
  23. The same texture can be used. I'm curious if the reflection slot is causing the error. It's not needed, and iirc, not used by the 3d engine. In the Diffuse and Opacity slot, ensure the mono channel is set to Alpha and alpha source is Image Alpha. As for your opacity, I suppose you have the alpha set correctly, so in that case, what DXT settings did you use when saving to DDS? DXT3 or 5 can be used. I myself, use 8.8.8.8 ARGB though.
