  2. It's under "Button Cap [...]".
  3. As title. Had a rough touch-and-go, and the nose gear didn't retract properly. However, the "up" light was still lit. This is a bug right? Track attached (damage occurs on second touch-and-go). geardmg.trk
  4. Yeah, I'd like to see too! Will be interesting to see if you manage to compensate for the viewing angle difference.
  5. Okay. Maybe we have a different mentality, then. For me, if I can write a short script and get it to run when I start DCS, which lets me do what I want with the controller mapping, then I won't really mind that all the features I like aren't included in the game. Obviously I'd be for an "Safety operated with switch" option making everything work like the wpns release cap. My point earlier was that it's more important to me that the safety latch on the gear lever is included in the game, than that people like OP who "don't have time to read the manual or anything" (direct quotation) get an easy ride. To reiterate, I see that both could be accomplished by including an option like the above, and that would obviously be the best if LNS had infinite resources. It's just that I'm not panicking at the lack of it. I think it was like you thought at one stage in the closed beta.
  6. Options are great! And there's nothing stopping people from mapping two functions to one key, right? Should be a 2 minute job with an autohotkey script.
  7. Pretty sure that's how it is: if you press wpns release while the cap is closed, it does both.
  8. If you can't raise the gear without first removing the safety in the real plane, you should not be able to do it in DCS. Mapping everything intelligently (adjacent keys, etc.) so that it isn't vastly more complicated in DCS compared to the real aircraft is a later problem, and I don't see why that can't be left to the individual user.
  9. I've never been able to do it either (and I can land pretty smoothly): I either end up taking off again or not keeping the nose up. Seems like a very fine line.
  10. I like that idea, both of the possible cause and, as you say, the obvious test. Would be interesting to take-off, do a lap, land, rearm, repeat. When you've done it 5 times we should know if the drag is erroneously added to that of the previous config. Sadly, I don't have time either.
  11. Those are some really interesting lines of thought. Is there a clever way we can test this?
  12. It would be useful if the people who have noticed this issue stated whether they had RATOs (they're not jets btw) on the plane at any point.
  13. I think locking and sealing in one go is kosher.
  14. Was it recorded with an older version of the game?
  15. Yep. The entire field of neurology is forever grateful to those pioneering golfers.
  16. What I wanna know is if the Christmas decorations the 21 fires atm are realistic.
  17. Those of you who understand Swedish might get something out of this. Well actually, you other riff-raff should watch it too and enjoy the noises your Viking overlords make.
  18. They didn't include the whole thing, but DCS has shoulders and stuff now right, that it didn't have when this mod was developed?
  19. So does it use its own software to calibrate or just tell you what to do?
  20. Wow. Ok. For $100 I'd have come to your house and fiddled with the buttons until you got what you wanted.
  21. I don't think connection type matters (although are you seriously running two on an analogue port? I'd try to avoid that...), it's gonna be panel settings if they're all connected to the same graphics card. Just have the same picture on all the monitors and then fiddle with the colour settings on the monitors themselves until you're happy. Even though you have the same model monitors, there's no guarantee you'll be able to perfectly match them (they might have different panels for different batches, etc). If you can't, try not to make it drive you crazy. You can also adjust the desktop colour settings via the nvidia control panel individually, but I'd suggest you stick to only adjusting the monitors themselves at first. EDIT: I read your post again and I'm pretty sure you mean DVI rather than VGA.
  22. Or, you know, the manual..
  23. Yeah, I don't think it's VRAM, but you never know. Maybe the lights were still doing something funny and invisible. But yeah, it's most probably some avionics going crazy, producing heavy CPU load. Weird that not everyone gets it, though; there has to be some system dependence too.
  24. Who needs EDGE, eh? :P Ground textures, Mustang's sky shaders and sweetfx? The cockpit is interesting but I love the blue.
  25. I know for a fact that the 21 cockpit on high settings is juuuust on the border of 2 gigs of VRAM usage. It's probably not that (but it's not trivial enough to warrant the kind of reply you got).
