I use VR and don’t have this issue. Have you checked to see if you have vsync enabled? I know I have experimented with it in the past and it has dropped my frames to 30fps.

I agree with you. It’s worked well enough in the past. Years ago magazines had preview access. Nowadays it’s more YouTube. I enjoy watching the vids, just because some have decided to have a rant about this access does that mean we can now no longer get a glimpse of the module or previews anymore. They are advertising their product. Good luck to them.

There were new features coming for the F-18. They also talked about the new carriers and animated deck crew. Or could it be the dynamic campaign already. He was right about speculation running wild. It can’t be related to the F-14 he would not have said ED feature.

Indeed. This. I’ve wanted the F-14 to be properly simulated for years. Since DCS world come along the F-14 was the first aeroplane that come into my mind and I thought if only we could have a Tomcat in this combat simulator. Other F-14 titles have come along in the past on other simulations but in my opinion have been awful. I’ve waited for this one since fleet defender. I’m human I keep looking on the forums longing for the date and keep thinking for Christ sake when’s it going to come out. Yes it feels frustrating and I’m not saying people shouldn’t speak their mind but to let it get to this, threatening when we have got so close, when they have submitted a release candidate to ED I don’t understand it. Please can it stop or just calm down and give the guys a break they are probably still working flat out on things.

I do hope VR is here to stay for flight sims. After flight simming since the early 90s VR has been the biggest immersion breakthrough I have experienced in all that time in my opinion.

Yes I think your right, fortunately I have two 8gb sticks so I have two free slots. So it’s an option for me when I have some spare cash again. Do you have experience with M2 SSDs. I’ve just ordered a Samsung 970 EVO pci SSD. Can I expect better performance running DCS on this compared to previous SSDs or will it be much the same?

The Tornado is my first wish as I’ve stated before but I will admit I can see the appeal of the A6, and I think it would make a cracking module in DCS. If they do announce the A6 I would definitely buy. I just hope someday someone will get round to the Tornado.

Yes just built a new pc. New case and board. Ryzen 7 2700X 16gb DDR4 3200mhz and trying running DCS on an M2 SSD for the first time. Not finished yet waiting on the M2. Taking the 1080Ti from my previous build. My previous system a i7 3770k and DDR3 memory I was struggling with VR with some modules and I know the F-14 would struggle as the Viggen does. So let’s see how this goes.

Because one of the best PC flight simulatons of all time was based on the Tornado. I can only imagine what could now be achieved with the stunning graphics and ability to accurately create these flight models. It is also a warplane that saw combat. Looks great can carry a wide array of weapons and would operate in situations that are exciting for flight simulation. I can say that with confidence because flying interdiction missions with the viggen creates situations that increases your heart rate. If you’ve never read the book Tornado down I would recommend it. The chapter where they run into the target and get shot down is gripping. I’ve also been so impressed with the way in which HB has included the A.I R.I.O with the Tomcat and feel this could be incorporated so neatly with a Tornado. Should Heatblur make one of course.

You can just enable or disable with the hornet whatever your preference. Which is perfect.

On the first magz tv video of the F-14 I think he says “you’ll notice there’s no pilot in the seat because I have It disabled” or something to that effect. So hopefully it’s there and it’s done just needs turning on.

Exactly that. If people want to fly it as a fighter fly it as a fighter. If people want to fly it as a bomber fly it as a bomber. When it’s released I shall do both but please people stop complaining. Please keep the videos coming.

I no longer have a pilot body anymore with the mirage. I assume it’s because the team are implementing the new pilot.

I have the same it’s cheap and it works I recommend it.

So I can imagine the B and D we’re just awesome.
