  1. Could I request one of the amazing skinners out there to do viper and jesters A4s
  2. I didn’t at any point say they were trained to the same standards as US Navy F-14 pilots. But at the same time you gave them no credibility whatsoever, which I maintain is harsh.
  3. Some of the biggest mistakes in warfare have come about by underestimating your foe. Something allied forces have rarely been guilty of over time. No stones were left unturned in their preparations for desert storm for example. They rated the Iraqi defences highly. And they would not underestimate Iranian F-14s should conflict occur. Losses during the Vietnam war are something the Americans have learned from for a long time.
  4. That’s a bit harsh. The IRIAF tomcats had an impressive combat record during the Iran Iraq war. Even with conservative estimates of downed aircraft.

    A-7E

The real life harrier was spectacular and had a very good combat record. It was a 1960’s design.
  6. I Would like to know if the F-14 will have mirrors that fold away like with EDs F-18?
  7. ^^^ that’s tears of joy. It’s the culmination of all I have ever wanted since first flight siming in the 90s. Thankyou you team HB.
  8. Great to hear they are working on a pilot and performance. It’s great news.
  9. Ok that is a shame. Could still carry bombs but no bomb sight. Rockets and cannons though.
  10. Well what it could bring to DCS is WWII precision bombing. Coupled with WWII navigation technology and techniques, that’s got to be a whole lotta fun.
  11. Mossie deserves to be a fully fledged module. You are talking about one of the outstanding aircraft designs of WWII. It would not make sense to not make a highly detailed simulation of this wonderful aeroplane in my opinion.
  12. It’s going to be awesome.
  13. I really hope to one day have a Battle of Britain scenario and obviously the necessary map. It would however involve appropriate aircraft modules and as our aircraft are focused on late war versions I don’t think that it will happen for DCS.
  14. I suppose they had two options they could postpone the release so it was more feature complete and we probably still wouldn’t have the harrier yet if that was the case. Or they release early access which for me personally I was quite happy with, just experiencing a VTOL aircraft and perfecting landings and takeoffs was something I was very much looking forward to, but we’re all different in what we want and I guess these guys were dammed if they released or didn’t there was always going to be people on the forums venting their frustration whatever they did. Personally I have a positive feeling with Razbam as I’ve always been a bit supporter of the Mirage I think it’s a really well put together module and it runs great, there’s a few issues with it still but it’s by far the most detailed simulation of a M2000 available when you consider all the features that are available now so yeah I feel confident Razbam will eventually deliver with the Harrier.
  15. I notice much less FPS in viggen than other modules with VR too.
  16. I’ve found you need to have cloud density set to either 9-10 in ME.

    Amazing!

Should be a standard for all modules now imo. Especially with the growing popularity of VR. Just wish i could get better FPS in the mig with VR compared to other modules because I love it and think it was so nicely put together.
  18. Originally posted by Cobra regarding a pilot body. Coming for both the Viggen and MiG-21. Probably Viggen first as the pilot is almost completely done-- and then we'll sculpt one for the Mig. Obviously this was a long time ago when nick was involved with the Mig. But is the Viggens pilot body still on the cards? I didn’t notice it on the features changelog.
  19. Good post
  20. can anyone guide as to how to open and edit a HLSL file to increase the MASKSIZE VALUE?
  21. I definitely will use if it becomes available
  22. Bring back the USNFs music. :megalol:
  23. A question for Nicholas or one of the HB team. If you are going to eventually incorporate pilot bodies for the Tomcat? (I hope you do). Will we be able to see our RIO when we look over our shoulder from the front seat, and vice versa our pilot from the rear seat?
  24. Of course but there is a post regarding the pilot body of the mig 21 in the HB simulations section of the forum.
