Can you explain a little more did you download it via the module manager? Is it showing as installed in the main menu?

I think for it do be a surprise it will be something different or not what we were expecting from Razbam. It was mentioned in a previous post about a helicopter, Razbam have not done a chopper before. It’s not a bad guess.

This module just keeps putting a smile on my face. I would go as far as to say it’s the most influential for me since the A-10c. And throwing in cat launches carrier landings mid air refuelling air combat and strike. It’s the best module so far I feel.

So I've launched the F-18 off the deck and played this ^^^^ in the background for a little bit of nostalgia, its like a super updated version of USNF. If i'd have had this in the 90's with VR I would have had heart failure...… Thanks devs the F-18 is superb.

I'm adding aircraft as static objects and linking them to the carrier but they are spawning on the sea bed under the boat. Any tips anyone?

It is true that with the Viggen the textures need to be set to high for all dials to be legible. And currently my PC is not powerful enough to run VR with high textures (although im not running a GTX 1080 yet),so this is a bit of an unknown area. Guess we will have to wait and see.

So I’m reading it that I need the stable version of DCS world for the maps release, is that the general consensus? I can only fit one version on my SSD and currently I have open beta. I don’t want to delete that and find out it gets released on open beta.

I’m really appreciative of the implementation of LTS in the Tomcat. Even if the method may be experimental, if this is a way to provide us with a chance to experience flying the cat as a multirole combat aircraft I’m all for it. Thanks again HB team.

I’m noticing significantly better performance in Nevada and Caucasus than Normandy with VR. It’s a shame because I love flying the warbirds but just hoping that the map will be tweaked or optimised more. If not I shall just have to wait until I upgrade my PC.

At this moment In time I don’t see the need for HB to develop their own map, Caucasus and PG are perfect for scenarios for the F-14 so I’d rather they concentrate efforts of the F-14 and feature content. There is a settings option in the Oculus menu at the bottom of the screen when you put the headset on. This is before you launch DCS. There is an option to turn antialiasing on/off on this, I hadn’t noticed it until recently. Unfortunately I didn’t notice any difference in my DCS. Maybe it could improve yours though if you dont already have it enabled?

You make some fair points. I paid a fortune for my headset and am desperate to play DCS to its potential in VR. The inability to have decent antialiasing and FPS is frustrating.

Had not seen Ninelines post before. Really surprised about the FC4 news and intrigued to see where they go with it. I am absolutely delighted about the interest in the de haviland Mosquito. It was truly wonderful.

I would absolutely love to get my hands on an FRS1.
