If you could pick any map next, what would it be? (Poll Vote)
Baco replied to dimitri18's topic in DLC Map Wish List
Nobody thinks Balkans or the Ardennes, or Berlin for that matter, because the engine can not handle it nor make it justice. Recently I see people asking for new maps, like asking for a Personal craft with a Warp engine.... Densely populated areas bigger than 500km by 500 kms cant be done.. and people are asking for thousands of densely very particularly populated areas... Unless ED is willing to admit generic areas without too much detail, those maps are not going to happen until we get I-15´s and 1024 Gigabites of RAM are the norm... But then again "generic" is a bad word around here... -
Bombs behaviour. - Sticking to ships and skipping on water.
Baco replied to Baco's topic in DCS Core Wish List
Also trying the P 47... a 1000 lbs Bomb destroys my plane 1000 feet in the air but not a n unarmored truck 200 feet away.. NUTS! -
Like the tittle says. Right now it is imposible to use delay on bombs attacking ships since the the bomb stays in the water instead of on board the ship. Also it is imposible to use Skip bombing, since Bombs don´t bounce off water but stick to it like if its ground. This makes naval attacks with dumb bombs unrealistically hard.

I think the Mig 23 from Razbam should come way earlier than the F-15E, and so should the Super Tucano.... But we will have to wait and see...

I agree people are reading too much into a fluke that some one said... We are in December now, I don´t believe they are going to announce anything at all, 2021 is mosquito and mi 24 and marianas... maybe 2022 apache an or F-4 (if we are really, really lucky), THATS it. No more "brain melting" announcements here... I would love to be proven wrong of course, but I don't keep my hopes up...

Not only Time, you would need a super computer to run it too... -
Bump. I find it pretty important. It would give mission makers a very powerful tool.
-
I believe there are no different variations on any DCS map, the variation is standard and set through out the whole map.

Agree! maybe sell Assets packs at 5 to 0 dollars, with themed assets. Gte 3rd party developers that concentrate on Assets, they can sell cheap packs, in big numbers...
-
Oh I agree.. But not subjects to players activity. BUT you start each flight with a fresh optimal conditioned pilot, But in the same flight you loose endurance. You start pulling Gs like mad, in 2 minutes or so you cant pull more than 4 or 5 G´s... So it would make it realistic And the pilot needs to decide when to pull maximum G´s tactically, not just turn and burn 7 to 9 Gs constantly for 30 minutes as it is now... SO in short: Every flight you should be able to pull a limited amount of time over 8 or 9 Gs, and then be limited to just 4 or 5 at best once you are exhausted.

I would truly love to have this aircraft in DCS, I am quite tired of the super fancy no opponent super planes on DCS.. Some mud moving on a mans plane would be lovely, Specially when we cant have the scooter made into an oficial module.
-
A link to such MOD or modified LUA would be greatly appreciated...
-
Actually the Corsair was the plane that gave us the overhead brake on the carriers son you land on a turn and always have visual on the deck And yes it was the Brits who made it work.
-
Grate addition for Normandy and The channel, and Yes when we get Cyprus we can give it a shot at the Med campaign...
-
OK Fair is fair. Thanks for the heads up and for the dedication to a quality product. Best of lucks and happy new Year!!!
-
Yes I would love it. But t for desert storm you need bases farther south, so I don't know how they can implement that... maybe some generic bases right at the bottom, but the distance to Kuwait is negligible
-
I Agree the F-7 Airguard was widely exported and a solid multirole.

DCS: de Havilland DH.98 Mosquito FB Mk VI Discussion
Baco replied to msalama's topic in DCS: Mosquito FB VI
Well, if you leave the function of "your plane on the F-10 map", you got the function of the second guy pretty much covered ;) -
It is very personal and Subjective. But as more complete would be the Hornet, 2 yeas advantage AND incredible depth... Of course by the time you learn it all, the viper will be there also jajaja BTW.. best module.. As much as "evil step mother ED" hates it... (Oh mirror, mirror, witch is the fairest Modules of them all...) yeah Baby its the TOMCAT ;) LOL

I just thought of something.. We are discarding Lots of posible planes because they are "now" announced.. maybe this particular one was not announced yet when the Teasing was issued, but was announced latter and we think its not it, but it is... I truly hope is the F-4 Phantom... I could not bare to see it delayed even more LOL.. Then Again an F-111 is enticing, specially an early one...

Afirm. Personnel is free for all.

No, not at all, sorry it came out that way. What I am Saying is, Any sim company can Make a FBW Modern Jet and make it "feel" realistic... if Microprose lunches a sim tomorrow the easy thing is to gtet computer systems working on a sim.. the Hard par is to get the FM and " feel" of the aircraft on a PC. On the other side DCS is specificaly special in this regard, they have an engine that really makes you feel the plane... I have been simming since 1985, and I still get goose bumps when I fly the Tomcat.. with all the shaking and noises and complex FM.. and the F 5, Mig 19, F 86, Mig 15 al planes you can almos feel inside.. VR and a bas motion thingy and you could swear you are there.... Modern FBW jets fly perfectly on their own, so if they are on rails or not its the same... Unless you look very very closely (no I am not saying that hey don't have complex FM, I am saying that 90% of the time you don't FEEL it)... so you can get away with a not so sophisticated FM... I hope I made my point clear. No offense meant to those who fly complex modern jets... And mi intention was to say. Make MAC Fast so everybody that is asking for super modern, half or low fidelity modules, can have their wish and leave DCS -where you can´t put modern jets because of Classified , or non existent documentation, or not enough level of detail known, to make the DCS standards- for the ultra fidelity old models that CAN be build.
