  1. Oh boy. I would think that would me the software adjust too tough. You should definitely get it from a place that allows returns, no questions asked.
  2. But is sure looks like the generic mount (basically a 90deg mount) will fit that perfectly. What's the width of your blue mount?
  3. I think it's just more of the same. To sum up: Don't really know, but here's what people are guessing was the problem/non-problem
  4. My home office doubles as my flight sim'ing chair. And it's too impractical for me to swap the JetSeat in and out - as good as it is. So if anyone wants it, shoot me an email hansang@ google's mail service. I'll select a person to ship it to. It's completely free unless the shipping is more than $25. If it is, you have to paypal me. If it's under $25, there's no charge. Anyway, my way of giving back to the DCS community. Hansang
  5. Do let me know if you can DieHard. I'm curious what CPU/Mem/GPU you have as you shoot for the VR rig.
  6. Looks terrific. You can put it to good use with the F16 module coming this year! (fingers crossed)
  7. You *can* fly it with Thurstmaster throttle (inverted). But the long throw of a collective *REALLY* gives you the fine control when coming to a hover, or landing. So you don't need it, but it makes it sooooo much better when flying helos.
  8. What tipped me over to them, was that I wanted the Pro leather (synthetic or otherwise) version *and* the fact that the pre-order numbers were two below the inventory numbers. Presumably, the update the system since the locations showed different numbers. Anyway, the child-like me wanted the Pro version as fast as possible w/o going to the HP Reverb site every 10 minutes. LOL. VR flying is a like a drug! :D And I've got nothing against AMZN. I was a customer the year they opened and have seen them change over time. But I wanted the Pro version anyway. So I cancelled the pre-order on Amazon.
  9. Right, and stop calling me Shirley. /* you know I had to do it LOL */
  10. I guess the focal distance has changed just enough. For me, although I'm near sigthed, I've always had to wear my glasses. The focal distance was far enough out that it mattered.
  11. Yes as Mariner3302 said. And it goes a step further. When you *recalibrate* (like going from windowed to full screen mode), it remembers what you had set it for. Convenient if you want to just redo the L/R/T/B calibration for example. Nice thoughtful touches go a long way to just enjoying the product.
  12. Don, Check you DM. I don't know if you have it enabled or not.
  13. Step by step I wrote a while back https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2616874&postcount=799
  14. DieHard, what is your computer spec? If it's the same PC you're thinking for the VR.
  15. :smilewink: The reviews by users seems to check out. I do like that they updated the website with "closed until Tue, we won't ship" And they show inventory by different locations. So they seem to take ecommerce a little more seriously than others. Just ordered as well. We'll see.
  16. Some have different L and R IPD. You can still measure it DIY I guess. Regardless, it's a moot point since no VR HMD supports it.
  17. It's a 3rd party map, so they would have to do it. :(
  18. Hello everyone. The short video on how to calibrate the PointCTRL controllers are up on YouTube. It's a seven minute video with three points of view so you can see every aspect of the setup. Let me know what else you'd like to see. And again, thanks to Los, MilesD and mariner3302 for the input.
  19. Now there's an understatement! :D
  20. Not a problem at all! Powered USB hubs aren't expensive, so you'll be OK if it turns out to be that. And you can stick with USB2 since joysticks can't take advantage of USB3.x speeds.
  21. We should be getting some reports since the S started showing up. On paper, it, rift S, seems pretty close to Odyssey+. Are you near microsft Store? You can try out Odyssey+. But since they won't have DCS, they do take returns back.
  22. Is the Arbis operational on the ground? have BS2 and haven't flown it in YEARS. Not since the standalone DVD version. I can check with P5K+ to see what I see. I'll check Gazelle as well.
  23. I'm getting the same problem. I may try using the update.exe or temporarily turning off the license. EDIT: Hmmm, maybe native launch isn't a requirement. I'll see if I have time tonight to test it out.
  24. Keyboards are keyboards. However, USB devices that mimic keyboards are treated uniquely. So I have a Razer Chroma Tartarus where each key can be configured to mimic a keyboard key, a DX press, etc.
