  1. good info here, thanks gents!
  2. Hope you pop up on the order/delivery list soon my friend!
  3. PointCtrl is awesome. I got lucky and got mine early. Wouldn't want to fly without it. exactly! pretty cool device Miles came up with. I really enjoy having mine.
  4. this helped me quite a bit for the trimming. The Jug is a constant trim beast. But having more granular trimming has made it much more manageable (and enjoyable) for me. I feel like I can get it dialed in pretty good.
  5. you'll love it! awesome.
  6. and if you like flying with your cockpit open, the immersion element is just awesome!
  7. Indeed, a very nice big truck....
  8. exactly, I do DDU the "old" driver before installing the new.
  9. Just curious Drac, what GPU do you have?
  10. I'm not in front of my Jug at the moment, but I think it's this: pull the parking brake, push the toe brakes, release the toe brakes, release lever
  11. I've been very mindful of how much/bend play I do with the cable. indeed, a very poor design.
  12. yes it still works, and I've been using it since it came out. No issue for me in 2.7.
  13. I made this tweak and really like how it makes the trim much more manageable. I was actually able to get my Jug dialed in short order, and had some nice flights. great post!
  14. went out on some more flights and I'm really digging this driver. It's so smooth from the previous 46x.xx's versions.
  15. I've run Msi in the background as well during my initial tests, and saw no stuttering issues. I'll also try it out with Msi off, (just for grins). I also run fpsvr too, and no issues. but I'm planning to turn that off now, since I've been happy with my performance as of late. (no need to monitor).
  16. wow, no sh**. just looked it up. nice entry price point and HMD for someone coming into the VR world
  17. I just went out on my standard Jug flight. I've got to say, via just my "butt dyno", it felt a bit smoother. So far, I really like the new nVidia driver. Also, I did apply the Win10 update as well. It appears to be a keeper (for me).
  18. Merely FYI - In the release notes, mentioned something about a fix for VR stutter. https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/176523/en-us Also, the latest Win10 has something about fixing some perf issue as well: https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/microsoft/windows-10-kb5003690-cumulative-update-released-with-gaming-fixes/
  19. cool! for a while there, I used a seat from an 87 Buick. Worked great.
  20. I ordered mine on a Thursday. There was a Euro holiday the following Monday, but I still received my inserts on the following Thursday. One week from order to delivery. Not bad from Germany to Arizona. I do highly recommend VR Optician inserts. Good quality.
  21. just bailout on the WMR beta... I think you'll be fine still sticking with the SteamVR beta. Many folks have been having issues with the WMR beta.
  22. Was curious if anyone has some feedback with using this: https://www.studioformcreative.com/product-page/reverb-g2-apache-strap and/or this too: https://www.studioformcreative.com/product-page/reverb-g2-pro-balance-100-gram
  23. I've tinkered with under volting my FE. Very satisfied with the cooler GPU/VRAM temps (which helps keep performance consistent). Lot's of good info on the 'net regarding this.
  24. going from a CV1 to a VP2??? Hubba, hubba!!!
  25. came across this, rather recent. (wish the music in the background was off though). forward to 1:47 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rDqieDVLxGI
