  1. Hi, @JonathanRL Just wanted to let you know that someone has uploaded into User Files a translated version of your Campaign: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3346735/ I find it very distasteful that he didn't mention you at all, maybe you already know about it but I just found out today and thought that I would let you know, in my opinion this should be mentioned to a Moderator, to prevent other users from doing the same thing with other's works. Best regards, Eduardo
  2. Correct, I found on google the flight manual for the KC130J which should be much closer, but I’m not sure if it is legal to share it here in public.
  3. Microsoft is using windows 11 to force users to employ Microsoft accounts, no longer will you be able to use just a local account. Hopefully there will be tricks to bypass this latest en<profanity>ification of windows.
  4. Hi, unfortunately it seems Heatblur forgot to add the "F-14A (early)" to the Historic Filter, and also forgot to adjust the introduction date for the non-early variant, which currently stands at 1974: So, for now you MUST disable the historic filter if you want the early variant
  5. changelog is out: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/news/changelog/
  6. My next mission for the F-104C will be about radar employment, but it is still a couple of weeks away (assuming the C-130J does not release sooner, as I'm truly looking forward to it) After the radar I intend to do one on A2A Radar missiles, followed by another on A2A Sidewinders and A-A Gun. Air-Ground is less important to me, as it wasn't the primary mission of the 104C.
  7. Hi, thanks for the kind words, and I'm glad that this procedure still works with more modern Windows versions, like Windows 10 and 11, I originally wrote it for Windows 8
  8. not a trap, it was a user-requested feature, granted by ED several years ago. It is pretty useful when editing missions.
  9. Hello, I checked the M01 mission and updated the mission to comply with a couple of minor changes that v1.2 has had since the time when I edited that mission, I had to restrict the trim range check, to -2° instead of -3°, to accomodate the Mod limitations. I will send the mission to the Mod developers now but in the meantime here is a link to the updated mission: T-45C - Training - M01 Carrier Cold Start (by Rudel_chw).miz and here is a video walkthrough to check it is indeed working: One of the Mod changes I detected probably impact other missions as well, I will check those also over the next few days. Best regards and sorry for the inconvenience Eduardo
  10. you are welcome to edit your own campaign, it would cost you zero dollars, only a bit of effort …. Man, we really need a thumbs down reaction on this forum .
  11. maybe he doesn't trusts his english abilities, but Sri lanka did employ the chinese version of the mig-21, so it could be plausible.
  12. Guess they have been encrypted
  13. It’s a comment line, the Mission editor does not allow triggers with no action, so I write an innocuous action there, like set an unused flag to on. keep in mind that most key commands are aircraft-dependent.. only the ones in the general and ui-layer categories are common.
  14. It should be like this: But my memory failed me, there is no "tick on invulnerable", instead you use the advanced waypoint actions and there enable "Immortal ON"
  15. That doesn't work, because you have to leave enough time for the cockpit animations to "play". Not that I know of
  16. +1 ... I wasn't able to load the Track ... the first step before reporting a bug, is to make sure you are using a clean DCS with just the single T-45 Mod loaded.
  17. thank you, yes everything went well, my right eye was done last May and now the left eye was done as well. Next month I will have a last control and will then be given a prescription for reading glasses, for driving I won’t be needing glasses anymore , so really happy about the whole thing.
  18. yes, sadly you are probably right … Windows is so bad, that many users believe the best way to solve issues is reinstalling the thing rather than looking for the root cause
  19. yes, but make sure to do a backup of the /saved games/ folder, to keep your missions, logbook, keybinds, etc (the keybinds will need a file rename, as they depend on the USB ID of windows, which will change with a new windows)
  20. run the mission again, when you exit the mission there is a button to "save track file", attach that file here to take a look at your issue
  21. usually value=1 pushes the butt0n, while value 0 releases it, which aircraft are you using? (The commands are different for each aircraft) Edit: just got home and assuming you are using an F-18, did a quick test mission and my prior assumption was correct: a value of 1 pushes the button and a value of 0 release it. The ON/OFF requires a small delay between press/release, 1 second worked for me: here is the mission if you want to try it: F-18C setup TCN (by Rudel_chw).miz
  22. none that I know of yes, this is an old thread, the current way to get the codes is this:
  23. not the same result, the authorization error is gone and there is a new error: EDCORE (15212): # C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION at 00007ff837d8eff3 00:00000000 your windows has a very small swapfile, try your increase it to at least 32 GB, here is a guide if needed: https://www.windows-tweaks.info/en/guide/set-swap-file-in-windows-10-11/
