Likley to be zero chance from HB. Maybe non-zero if you want to develop one yourself.

Rather than adding clutter to the existing menu options, I'd just like the link to the DCS Encyclopedia (top of editor) to open in a dialog window rather than take you out of the editor. Much more useful imo, as there's other items in the game I might want info on.

ILS for Nellis not for runway 21?
Buzzles replied to sleat's topic in DCS: Nevada Test and Training Range
Hawk uses its own navigation file (until VEAO do the version 2.0 Hawk T1A this year) and doesn't use data from the map like all the other modules, so probably best post in their section. -
This is implying you're planning on finishing doing updates to the Gazelle. Which wouldn't be tooo much of a problem, were it not for threads like these on here and like this one on Hoggit pointing out oddities with the FM, like flying upside down or apparently wind not affecting it: (linked only because I'm not copy-pasting big blocks of text and the video). I totally understand as a business and as a dev needing to move on to other products, but when one of the core parts of your existing product is still in a questionable state after many revisions, surely that's going to have an adverse affect on sales of your future products?

I think the new DM, when we eventually get it, is going to have more of an impact than the small variations between the types we have and the types that would seemingly match better.

Malware is a bit too light. IANAL, but what they've done is downright illegal in a lot of countries. It apparently hacks your encrypted Chrome username/password dictionary, and then sends it over bog standard unencrypted HTTP to be stored on one of their servers. It'd be one thing (still outright illegal) if they were specifically getting FSX usernames from it under the guise of finding out who the pirates were, but the entire user/pass dictionary? That's beyond a joke.

There are many other aircraft which actually reached production and were used that should be made before any development effort is put into this imo.

F/A18E/F Super Hornets block 1 and BLock 2 E/F ( lot 26)
Buzzles replied to Kev2go's topic in DCS Core Wish List
I have to agree with some of the other posters, if you're doing a Superbug, a F would be the better choice in my eyes, regardless of block. -
Really? Module development costs fall in your price range then! ED take on private clients you know :P

For 1, have you selected a nuclear bomb for the payload? If so, not a bug. The doors are removed when carrying a nuke.

Rudel's doing a stream on Twitch for some CE2 texture work + answering questions from the chat. If you've not seen a Rudel stream before (it's been a while), it is literally him streaming his texturing work in photoshop for a few hours, with the very occasional jump into the model viewer or DCS for a few seconds. It's good for a look to see just how much work goes into just one aspect of a DCS module.

Not in the P-51D.

Just as thought Cobra, you should have waited and released this project update on the 19th, just to mess with people :)

On the mention of chocolate, has anyone actually tried the new 4th type, pink, yet?

Just to back up Esac_mirmidon: You've all assumed the internal test teams haven't reported this. They probably have, but reported is not the same as fixed, as bugs have to be scheduled in to be fixed based on severity as resources and time are not infinite. /software dev That said, this is quite a visually obvious one, so I am suprised it's not been fixed before release.

Not really. Razbam tried to do it and were told to stop by ED almost immediately. As linked, ED since have clarified want to do it themselves. Based on prior ED behaviour with the L-39 where they held off doing their own version for a few years as a 3rd party was attempting it, the fact they said stop so quickly means it's likely they've put some resources into it already and that it's definitely planned. Either way, M3 won't be doing it either, but it would be good if M3 can actually sort out the SPO-10 irrespective of the fact it may be done in another module.
-
Yeah, I'd be up for a Gr.3, but it'd be a completely different module from the AV8B (aka, Harrier II), so you're asking Razbam to start from scratch again. I'd rather see them just come out with the Gr.7 they originally wanted to do, as it's not a full blown new module and we'd likely get it quicker.
-
That's now incorrect (was initially true), as ED have since said they're planning on doing the Mig-23 and 27: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3314734&postcount=10688 Keep up :) Either way, ED doing that isn't needed for the SPO-10.

That's true, providing the Hornet is the one dictating the terms of the dogfight. Everyone knows the F-18 is a beast at low speed and high AOA, so why would you fight on its terms? The F-18 does have a lot of advantages going for it, I just think it's not going to be a walk in the park as people seem to think it'll be.
-
Considering the post on this forum from an actual F/A-18C driver who said performance drops off fairly rapidly as you load up the stores, I'd hedge that the M2000 would probably be better off in WVR within DCS where people aren't fighting with lightly loaded aircraft. BVR will be the Hornet once it gets all its toys.
-
I was going to post that too. European wasps are aggressive bastards, Hornets are just big. IIRC they've also got a milder sting. They are however as loud as hell. The worst thing about them is when you hear them near you but cannot see them, outside isn't too bad, but inside the house is just horrible.

To be honest, this is probably more work than just optimising Normandy, which from your other post, is the problem.
