Got a source? I know we're getting an older block P-51D, I don't recall reading anything about extra boost too.
-
Next 2.x patch will probably contain them. It's generally how this has worked for quite some time now.
-
I said "at least". Also, Mig-21 did not take 4 years. I suggest you go read Cobra's posts on the matter, from what I remember, after various issues and a restart under the LN banner, it was more like 2. Either way, this thread is now moot as the last official communication was that M3/LN are not doing a MiG-23 at this moment.
-
"quickly"? It was publically said before the company split there were multiple teams. Some of the staffers were on the Viggen and Tomcat teams who moved to Heatblur, and the remaining staffers working on something else and became M3. They've split, and the something else has stayed with LN/M3. You'll probably find this unknown module has got at least 18 months of dev behind it already.

So, jist of this thread is you think the 'chute is too effective in DCS currently?

Do a hard refresh on your browser then if the formatting is broken.

Seems to be a plastic model, it's on the first page of a google image search for Corsair, linking to here https://www.horizonhobby.com/f4u-corsair-s-rtf-with-safe-reg%3B-technology-hbz8200

Why do people seem so excited about Suite 7 when 8 (?) is the current? Surely if you're going to lobby for a new version... :) -
Does not "Turn off cockpit reflections" in the options do what you need?
-
There is, that's why you can adjust curves, saturation etc... Besides, modelling it around the real stick is the only proper way to do it as it's the one point of truth. You can't just pick a random or "average" desktop stick and model around it, each one is different, so is each person's preferences.

What have the last 5 posts on the P-51H got to do with Razbam's Tucano?

Regarding the OP's main point of focus vs breadth, I'm of the opinion that with the 3rd parties on board, a focus by them will result in a breadth for us. I also think once ED finish dealing with the backlog from DCS:WWII, which is currently just the Me262 and the P-47 left, they'll be able to focus resources into other places. Regarding what ED should get up to in the features/bugs area, I'm just going to say that from my experience of developing a platform for clients (SaaS), there can be big stretches where a lot of invisible work is done under the covers in prep for new features that the clients simply don't see until it's ready. I suspect there's much more going on than ED shout about. Unfortunately, this often seems to clients as if nothing is being done, bugs aren't quashed etc...

I'm torn. I was going to hold out on this in hope Razbam can get some more info and do a Gr.7. But when I see videos like this, I can't help but think I'm going to just get the AV-8B because I know I'm going to enjoy it.

Saying something would be useful in future doesn't mean anything is actually planned. Some people read too far into general statements. Either way, greatly looking forward to DCS: Trains :D Nice to see some updates on Hormuz though, the cities are looking quite nice.
-
I think this'll be solved when ED move the core of the sim to a client-server architecture for everything (inc SP).

@SD: VEAO have officially stopped development for DCS for everything but Hawk and P40: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3224759&postcount=1

Right, so, back to the actual topic of WIP images: That throttle looks nice. Anyone know what the buttons are for on the front right of the unit? Or are they just bolts/fixtures?
-
If people want practice at getting close, I'm going to make an outlandish suggestion by suggesting another sim, and say and it'd be a good thing to go download Rise Of Flight (free version) and have a quick play. The inaccuracy of the WWI birds, absense of gunsights and limited ammo forces you go much closer than you'd expect and teaches you to wait until you're sure you're close enough and with a good shot. It's good practice and it means you can transfer it to your gunnery in DCS. The sights in DCS allow you to make long shots if needed, but lull you into thinking that it's an effective way to fight.

Perhaps it was down to available information that forced their hand? The Dora *did* use the EZ-42, even if it wasn't common, so it's not historically inaccurate.

The "lol, F-18 pilot on a .ru site, call NCIS!" comments are a laugh, shows they can't be bothered to actually see what this forum is for. -
You've already had one thread on this topic locked (yesterday no-less). Pretty sure you're about to feel the force of an unhappy moderation team considering you haven't even bothered to bring hard data to this thread (again).

Oh, yes of course. Doesn't mean it couldn't be a failure option in DCS. Although admittedly, it would probably find more use in a mission as a triggered event.
